  1. Yes, there is! So the fix for static objects is to raise the collision model in 3ds max.. However, as you can see above. When i placed the static objects. They all for some reason were place in the center of the ship. Marroux, how did you get the static objects to sit above the flight deck and not the mast? Send me a photo of a static helo above the flight deck that i can use and i will elevate the collision model in Max?
  2. I would like to add my submarine test yesterday! The photos below tell the story! The 4 torpedoes completely missed the destroyer! I tested the Viics submarine today and they did hit the ships but they have to be close. We all know a modern enemy sub isn't going to get anywhere near any modern warships.
  3. Uboat's your viic's torpedo are very good. I noticed it went around the ship and exploded but it damaged the ship. The other torpedoes hit the ship directly. I will report EDs torpedoes!.

  5. So today i conducted a test against the US Aircraft Carrier and the US Destroyer using the Chinese Submarine! Below is the outcome of the Torpedoes! I think the search or tracking feature of torpedoes need more adjusting. They completely missed the destroyer!!
  6. Hello, So as you can see in the screenshot! The static objects helicopters do not sit correctly on the flight deck of the AI Ships. The are sitting centerline. Initially i thought it was a problem with my model ship FREMM Aquitaine but as you can see the issue is also with the Ticonderoga and the Arleigh Burke. The helicopters are linked to each AI Ship. Can you please correct this? Thanks.

  7. So take a look! There's a problem with static objects! I thought the issue was with Aquitaine but look at the Ticonderoga! They need to fix it!! Also, here's my final Landing! GT.Landing_Point = {-60.425, 5.3, 0.0} just one off from Marroux's
  8. Thanks So much Pappy2!!! I really appreciate it. So the script below is used to adjust the height of the helicopters on deck. So -60.245 is for fwd & aft --- 4.848 is for up and down... so if it's too low. Adjust the 848 to maybe 4.888.. Adjust that number until you get the desired height. Also, the 0.0 is centerline on the flight deck. If you all need further assistance just let me know! I will test one of the helicopters on deck now! GT.Landing_Point = {-60.425, 4.848, 0.0}
  9. Thanks Marroux! I really appreciate that. I agree it would be nice if they could bring another submarine to DCS but it appears we have to do that if we want another submarine mod.

I have a lot of models to create so I will not be taking any special request for a while. I want to release as many ships models as I can between now and the Marianna release. ED has recreated the entire ship code so it will take some adapting but nothing i can't handle!! --------Next model will be the Constellation Class FFGX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Afterwards, I have a couple Italian Ships i will release!!! Stay tuned!!
  11. You are 100% correct Marroux! I bring to you all the Aquitaine D650 FREMM Class Frigate! This was a suggestion by Toan.. One of my close followers. I have been working on it for a while now. He gave me some great input in regards to creating the model. All weapons have been tested!! No known issues that i know of. Should be available for download soon!   12. No, they all work Shmoo! I have tested them all. Today I tested the Aster Missile, the guns and Harpoons on the model i will releasing and all worked! I was planning to bring you all an Exocet but ED's release of 2.7 has put a damper in that plan because the code is now broken. I am still playing with the textures on the model i will be releasing. So i will share it tomorrow morning instead of today! I can give you a hint. It's a French Frigate!!

  14. Yes, Ed has rearranged M.E. by categories now. I have been trying to figure out how to get my ships in those categories. So far all my ships are working in Sim. Letmepickthat - I has an aster model that i used. It's not finished yet. I need to work on the booster separation animation. I am also trying to bring a ship launched Exocet to DCS. Spino - I was actually working on the constellation model the other day. I have so many models not sure where to start. This is probably a good time to finish the Constellation! Tank - I seen someone else working on that LCAC model. I passed my exam today so i'm back in the modeling business again! Stay posted I will be dropping a model this weekend!   15. Hello Ghostman, I am already ahead of you. I currently have the Canadian Halifax Frigate. Hopefully I will be back in business modeling this weekend!! Adding a helo to the Flight deck on the Patuxtent shouldn't be a problem. I have already created another version. I just haven't had time to work on any models lately. I will make two versions of it Patuxent. I have a pretty good CH-46 static i can add to it.

  19. Thanks Toni, The Belknap Model was pirated from Coldwaters and sold on Turbosquid. So it's not possible to use it in DCS anymore. I can't use the Knox Class Frigate either.
  20. I've been creating models for over a year now and if i really like a model i will purchase it. My purchase experience has taught me that most models are not worth $50 - $100. Think about it. Your purchasing a digital object that does nothing until we make it function. In reality your not paying for the model. Your paying for the person's time that created the model and to pay $400 for someone's time is ridiculous! Also, there's no way to negotiate with the the moddeler's on Turbosquid!

  23. HAPPY EASTER GUYS! I have released the USNS Patuxent along with the Harbor Tugboats. USNS is not a perfect model. I tried to refurbish it the best i could. Also, it's the only model of it's type i can find on the web so their are some in-perfections. This will probably be the final model unless the code breaks. ED will be releasing Version 2.7 soon so we'll have to see what happens afterwards. Download link on page #1. #15 Enjoy!!
