From what I heard, all ATC will be upgraded, not just for SC.

From what I understand, deck crew will only be on the Nimitz, not the Kunetzov. They may add it in the future, hope so. :music_whistling:

Which is precisely why I don't care much for modern warfare in games. Knocking down a plane at 6km or more feels more like cheating than anything else. I much prefer WWll or even WWl style of air combat. No radar, no avionics, no guided or smart weapons, just stick and rudder, fly by the seat of your pants and shoot what you can see with your own eyes. There's a certain romanticism and excitement that gets lost with smart weapons, at least in games. The art of the dogfight gets lost and It takes the fun out of it. I am a big fan of the WWll war birds and early helos like the Huey and Mi-8. I can't wait for the soon to be released P-47 Thunderbolt. Now that's a war bird.

It's the only load out available in DCS IRL you had a choice of: M64 (500 lb) X 12 or M65 (1000 lb) X 8, or M66 (2000 lb) X 4 War Thunder has all options available for the E, E/Late and G variants.

Select the bombs from where??? Right clicking does nothing. The empty field is still empty.

I have asked this question in another thread and have received no useful answers. All I want to do is load bombs on the B-17. One person suggested that I click on the "new" button which I have to no avail. What do I do after clicking "new?" I tried entering a payload name as: M65A1*6 which is the 1000 lb bombs carried by this plane. Is there something else? Do I need to write some code? Do I have to download something? With any other plane or helo I can load the appropriate payload for whichever task I assign. With the B-17 it is always blank regardless of the task I have assigned. Please help!!

Well, I tried it and nothing happened. I named the payload as M65A1*6. The B-17 G can carry up to 8 1000lb bombs. I only loaded 6 and still nothing. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to write some code? Please help. Thanks in advance [/img]

B-17 Bombs I still haven't figured out how to load bombs on the Ai B-17. No matter what task I assign, the load out page is blank.

After restarting my computer, it seems to be ok now. Thanks for your help.

I have been using the same settings for 9 months now and this problem just started about 3 days ago. Go figure....

I never had rudder trim on. I turned off takeoff assist, no joy. See new track. Only 1 min 12 sec. Rudder Bug_01.trk

I am at my wits end. My rudder has a mind of its own and my planes and helo are not flyable at all.:helpsmilie: I have run a cleanup and repair to no avail. :cry: The rudder flaps back and forth and gets stuck in the full left or full right position. There is no discernible pattern to it. It seems totally random and will straighten out sometimes and fly normal then without warning it goes crazy. Attached is a 3 minute track of my P-51. Use the F2 view and watch the whole thing and you will see what it is doing. I thought it might be my stick :joystick: , but it works perfectly in Rise Of Flight and War Thunder Sim. The game is unplayable for me, please help. Me too, however, we don't have any carrier based planes yet. I wouldn't want it as purely AI. I would love to have an F6F, an F4U or even an F2A to be able to takeoff and land. Right now the only American fighter plane we have is the Mustang and it is not carrier capable.

How about being able to load bombs and send them on a bombing mission? Kinda strange to have a bomber with no bombs let alone no crew.

I seem to have a similar but different problem. I am trying to set a carrier as a landing point, but it just jumps to the nearest airport. Any thoughts??
