Hi Chaps, I was re-mapping key inputs so that I could do SHIFT and numpad input for the Nadir, as i do with the A10 and found out that there is a bug with key 5. Within the control settings for the Nadir there isnt a key 5 mapping available. Checking the file "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircraft\SA342\Input\keyboard\default.lua" I can see there is a typo {down = device_commands.Button_34, up = device_commands.Button_34, cockpit_device_id = devices.NADIR, value_down = 1, value_up = 0,name = _('SA342 4'), category = _('SA342 NADIR')}, {down = device_commands.Button_35, up = device_commands.Button_35, cockpit_device_id = devices.NADIR, value_down = 1, value_up = 0,name = _('SA342 4'), category = _('SA342 NADIR')}, to correct this, just correct the second line _('SA342 4') to _('SA342 5') Cheers Mith

how are you guys downloading this, i launch 1.2 beta and no update just goes into the game. Do i have to download again?

Nevada Map Hi All, I heave seen a few posts on the DCS facebook page that some people say they have got their Nevada Serials. I bought the A10-C when it was in beta so when would i expect to get my serial? Cheers Mith

Hi all, With the advent of DCS World 2.0 coming, I thought it about time to start back with the Sim and start learning whats what again. I managed to find on the forums some control profiles for the TM Warthog. Downloading them and trying to install them is another matter. I downloaded the profile from this thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=62898 extracting the lua files I head into DCS, clearing all the profiles and clicking in the respective columns and clicking load profile, pointing this at the lua files and clicking ok seems to do nothing, the mappings for the controls are not imported and there is just what I started with which is very frustrating. Does anyone know how I can get these controls into DCS please. Any help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks Mithandra

hi, thanks for the suggestions, I have managed to purcahse it although not using my windows 7 machine using IE 9 i swapped onto my mac and used safari so i think there are some compatability issues with the site and IE 9. or maybe a cookie issue although i did clear out the cookies and that didnt work. Hi All, I am having problems purchasing the P51D from the main DCS website. I follow the steps below but just doesnt work, anyone have any suggestions? INPUT: Enter Username and password in the left boxss on the web site. ANSWER: site just throws up 2 blank boxes for me to re-enter details. INPUT: I then click on forgot password ANSWER: Site now tells me that i am logged in INPUT: I then add the P51D to my card and try and goto checkout ANSWER: page shows item in the cart but text below says i need to be registered with the site and i must fill in details on the left. INPUT: Try and fill in details on the left. ASNWER: only returns me to the same page asking for details on the left. Not sure what the hell is going on here to be honest. Cheers Mithandra

I have just sent the last 2 hours reading every post within this thread, interesting reading, from a personal perspective I am not interested in the P51 whatsoever, however are there any possible options? [TABLE] Option 1: Support the Sims even if you dont like the aircraft. Purchase the addon even if you dont want to fly it to show support for DCS. Option 2: Donatation Double the price of the new Jet Sim thereby funding DCS which could possibly allow for additional development and quicker return. release to community at Beta stage as happend with A10 to inject cash into the business now. [/TABLE] From a personal perspective the price to enjoyment value I have recieved from the sim is money well spent, hell its worth double what we pay or even tripple. I personally would rather donate the price of the game so to allow all focus to be placed into the F18 or Apache Longbow or something like that. I will purchase it just to show my support for the many hours of fun I have had throughout the DCS series, even though it will just sit in the drawn and gather dust. Keep up the good work ED. Jinx

Hi All, I would like to see some sort of slot type availability when browsing the online servers. Currently as both BS and A10 can connect to the same servers there is no way to identify if the server has implemented slots for KA-50's, very irritating just clicking and hoping there are KA-50 slots. I also have the same issue, entering into the options I change my deadzone and smoothing curve for my Warthog, click clicking the ok button does absolutly nothing. I can only click cancel. However if I go into the options and change something like, sync my controls with Warhog I am able to click the OK button. Strange one

wow now they do add that little bit extra to the Sim :) looking forward to the patch :)

The Friction control is at the top left not the right, the right control is INCR and DECR which I also have mapped to the zoom. I have also had a Cougar in the past, the WARTHOG is far far the best stick i have ever owned :) thanks Myth

I have been serving a few missions to our wing and on occasions we have had people disconnect with either a client timeout or a crash, funny thing is though when they try to connect back into the sim the server crashes. This might be a coincidence, we will do some further testing. thanks Myth

Hi Nate Personally I would be willing to pay the extra costs for a printed manual, i.e. all the pictures in colour and text where needed, agreed that some pages with no pictures wouldn't require colour. I really hate it when you pull out a manual in B/W, just makes it feel cheap if you know what i mean :) thanks Myth
