Flaps are set to auto unless landing or taking off.

Works just fine for me. Controller issue it seems.

Boo Hoo

Looking good Suntsag.

This is why I love this community. We got to help out someone who needed it and learn some new stuff in the process. This sim offers so much depth and realism if you actually use it to its full potential. We just spent 2 days working out how to fly 1 approach, and never dropped any ordinance. I decided i better fly it in the viper as well. I never even thought about missing weapons or systems in either aircraft and was completely immersed in something as simple as flying a proper approach.

It does matter. We get weapons and software that were available during the documented dates. Just because the aircraft could use it at a later date makes no difference. If the model date of the Harrier is 1990 - 2000, then by default we will never get a weapon that was available to our Harrier in 2012. The weapon system is outside the date parameter of the sim. Your other examples of weapons and aircraft make no logical sense. Why would aim 9 be out the window when the aircraft in question carried it during the time the sim is modeled. Just like our viper is a 2007 block 50, it will not get anything that may have became available in 2008. ED is very clear on this. We get what was available at that time and nothing more. People are always arguing about wanting their favorite feature that although it was carried by the aircraft, was at a date outside the sim parameter. The answer is always the same. NO.

Thanks for the improvements. Ya I was not thinking about magvar for some reason when I put it together. Thanks for tweaking it. I’ll check it out in the morning. I was pushing the limits I know on daylight. I was trying to keep the sun out of it for folks but probably not a factor. Great idea on the smokes!

I’m going to try and leave it for now. I’ve had enough fun for one day. Time to fly.

LMAO touché.

UmmmMmmmmmm. Again do some READING. His title in his name is COMMUNITY MANAGER. OMG. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT

THis^^^^^ I mean you have an official update from BIGNEWY on the same friggin page as the question!!!!!! People cant be bothered to read even one single post above theirs. Has anyone seen the movie ‘Idiocracy”? We are there. The movie used to be funny because it was outrageous to think a society could be that dumb. But now its not funny because we have devolved to that level.

Ginsu. I attached a mission for you I made for the MINTT approach. Everything is laid out and measured using the charts. Its a pretty aggressive pattern which is why Im guessing its not used as much as a west break. Just remember this is a Air Force Base. Not a Navy base. The airfield sets the patterns and approaches, not the agency. So, this is AF rules. fly directly over the active runway, break over the numbers etc. Naval air fields and or during ground based carrier training ya, you fly as if you were recovering on the boat. Not here though. Most all military VFR landings are aggressive. Basically most flying is aggressive. You aren't out there flying big civil DME arcs. Turn hard and pull G's. My virtual squadron I fly with has a couple retired Air Force and Navy pilots. They developed all the SOP's and training material. And ya if you are flying like they do in real life it takes a bit to get used to flying the jet that hard all the time. Hope this helps. Edit: I forgot to mention on the Upwind. I have it laid out at about 1.1 DME abeam from LSV12. You can go wider if you need to. The procedure says to just stay within 4 DME of LSV 12 (or 3, now I cant remember). NTTR MINTT Recovery.miz

I haven’t really messed around with it to see but ... if you show your event log that shows you taking off, tanking, and then landing safely and the track file shows something else then it would be safe to say they could use that for the bug reporting correct? Is the trackfile number embedded in the event log of the mission so that you could see event log and the track are from the same flight? #BIGNEWEY

Then go to stable release, and don’t buy early access. If you don’t like being a beta tester, then stop using the beta testing products. Simple as that. No one forces you to be a tester.

Works just fine for me. could it be an easy comms thing? I don’t use easy comms and it works -
Ummm. Kinda the definition of OPEN BETA, EARLY ACCESS. This is open beta, meaning anyone flying this EARLY ACCESS module is here to help iron out bugs of the BETA version. WE ARE ALL BETA TESTERS. So yes absolutely, members are the ones who are supposed to be helping resolve the issues and bugs. That’s why you signed onto the BETA version of the sim and not the STABLE RELEASE. maybe you were just joking? Man for humanity’s sake, I really hope you were. Non computer savvy folks should never get upset about not knowing how to trouble shoot an incomplete test version of software.

I guess some people are just not capable of reasoning and logical debate. Kinda like flat earthers. You can give them all the data they need. Still won’t change how they think every single aspect of their life is one giant government controlled conspiracy.
-
Again the answer would be to play servers that don’t allow any early access aircraft. And like I said I really don’t see how not being able to break your own wings effects anyone else. Ya the hack that someone found to exploit it should be fixed. Which it is. It sounded like they would have a patch for that on the next update. Which is tomorrow.
-
It’s funny how people literally find it impossible to wrap their heads around early access. You know it’s not finished. What part of that is so hard to understand. Not finished. If you can’t handle it do not buy modules until they are out of early access. If you need help understanding early access means a partially finished product. It is not complete. Not all systems work. Not all modeling is complete. How hard is this to understand? And sorry no Microsoft is not releasing a product that is as great as you say it is. It has nice looking maps. But it’s still Microsoft. It sucks. Don’t join servers that allow arcade mode. If there aren’t any then build your own missions and host your own server with your own rules. It’s very very very simple to figure out these things.
-
I would not be ok with those things. Luckily none of those things are true. Not being able to snap off your own wings does not affect game play. And the devs said they are looking into fixing the issue with pulling the fuse to disable the fcs two weeks ago the first time it was reported. So again. No quality control issues here.

Here you go. From the founder himself. 125. I guess it’s time to be suprised. Lmao don’t assume. https://www.google.com/amp/s/stormbirds.blog/2019/09/23/eagle-dynamics-founder-nick-grey-responds-to-early-access-controversy/amp/

That’s what they said. I have no idea what they have now. I guess they could have laid off 100 people.
-
I read a post from a while ago that at the time they had 125 coders. Who knows how many they have now. I highly doubt that there is only 1 or 2 assigned to the Hornet.
