I believe that the latest 1.11 patch only asks for the cd once a week.

Not only did it not load your profile, but now doesn't load any of my own. I also have a problem with the icon not showing in the taskbar after i close the profiler and restart it again. So let me sort out that and i'll update you when i work out whats happened.

Sure mate i can test it out for you. Its a shame that the latest driver update has caused so many problems. I didnt have the same problem as yourself, but it still managed to cause me problems for a while. Some keyboards don't register the Rwin key as RWIN. It is also called the APPMENU key. To find out what yours is just go into Option -> Input , select keyboard. Right hand side menu click on RWin then click delete. After it clears Hit add and then press your Rwin key on your keyboard. Done.

You should find that you can get a better frame rate and performance if you increase your resolution. These graphics cards don't seem to like the lower resolutions. I still have a 9600xt and i get better fps etc at 1280*1024 then i do at 1024*768

Same problem happening here, although i did manage to connect to the 169th server breifly. Happens with and without router, i'v tried increasing the timeouts etc, but still no cookies. Hard drives defraged before and after install also. Can only wait now for some kind of resolution i guess. I wonder if this has any effect to the server and pilots allready online. I tried connecting twice to the s77th server before being kicked to breifing, my apologies to the s77th crew flying at the time.

I believe we can't see smilies because the smiley image directory is missing all smiley images execpt for one. --> :confused: <-- that one (confused). Cj

S! zzzspace Mate did u order your copy through battlefront.com or an online retailer? 2-4 weeks seems a long ime to wait when forking out that kind of dollars. I might wait a little to see if a sim online retailer gets it in. Cheers CjLivE
