yeah i found these some time ago whilst editing the dds files for my in-game menu :)

this is by far the best mod for lockon !!! hosting on lockonskins is garanteed so nudge me when its done.

im working on one, there are 2 finished to my knowledge but not shared.

I have a SB Live Value and i cant use it in Lockon v1.Anything, if i go F2 view and release a weapon on its impact the sound goes nuts and sometimes reboots my PC. I use the AC97 on-board sound card, the SB Live is very old in sound-card terms and Creative stopped supporting sometime ago. I remember having infinate probs with it back with Ghost Recon so bad they had to release a patch to fix it ! Get rid of the old SB Live and upgrade to the Audigy 4 7.1.....they are £50 in the UK and you get a remote control ;).

from what i understand Lockon uses an older shader engine which is behind the FPS problems, if they upgraded to the new shader engine we would probally seeing more than double FPS we currently see. i dont know anything about the shaders but this is what id been told by a trusted "informant" ;) Happy Neew Year

OMG who thought up this idea ?? USAF Su-25T ?????!!!!!! Looks like some one at ED drank to much vodka over the holidays and got bored. I feel quite strongly about realistic skins in flight sims, night fighters skins and now this bizzare Hog/Frog have no place in lockon, i for one havent and wont be downloading any of them. (not that my opinion means much and im not looking for this madness to end and this doesnt need a flame war reply just my opinion thought id share wether needed or not :)) The introduction of the Black Night Fighter skin turned the VVS504 Su25T wing into a freak show of "personalised" Batman planes :), just my pet hate i guess....i cant stand obviously ficticious skins. Glad i fly the Su25 Vanilla ;). As you were men !! ;) Happy New Year to all !!!!!!!

yeah its a known bug, i think there are a few of these around the map. They are fixing known ones but i think thats for 1.2.

I think Medium.scn with base trees would work perfectly as there are already some trees along roads and railways on the medium setting scenes, High is full forests all over the map. So adding trees round the bases only on the Medium.scn would benefit people like me who can run High scenes but not on real busy missions with lots of action. Or when hosting a MP game i have to turn down to Medium scenes to avoid spikes and FPS probs for the other players with low spec PC's. I think the trees round the bases should be a perminate feature and added in 1.12 or 1.2 it really adds realism.

couldnt you also add these trees to the medium.scn too ? so peeps who cant run HIGH scenes can get the trees round the base but not all over the map. This would be very cool.

it's never "blinded" me on night visions......ever....actually it's half as bright as the TIR3Pro was, but i liked that as it gave a nice blue glow that helped when using the keyboard in utter darkness ;)
