i got this with Lockon.....whilst flying with new recruits mid-week one of them dumped 10-15 flares ahead of me whilst i was on short finals lol My screen pixels wobbled then went black ! Lockon was dead but i could tab out and kill Lockon with task manager. Might not be the same problem but thought i would share.

Kevlon warped and Ice missed............big deal get over it. This kind of warp and miss inciddent happens probally every 5 mins in HL, so who cares ? How can Kevlon fix packet loss ? It could be his modem his ISP's cables his mobile may have rung just as the missle was fired...interfering with the connection !!?? Who knows who cares !! Its a game and no one really died, ICE's "rep" is still intact last i checked the "504 Rep Status System" (j/k we dont really have one) and Kev is still "Norwegian House Paint Champion 2005". Lets forget about it because im bored of hearing about it, going on about it brings bad vibes and flame wars over the stupidest thing. We play on line over networks of varying questionable quality from one side of the earth to another, you HAVE to expect this sort of things to happen deal with it or find a LAN only squadron. also with the advent of (504)Zorlacs stats system maybe it could be used/edited to help add ranks to CAW. Maybe a scoring system could be devised ? We allow "Mercs" (un-squad pilots) to join and fly with squadrons.

yeah but staffing these projects is hard enough without adding more work, CAW is just primarily an online campaign for Squadrons to join up and fly together. But non-squad pilots can join up and fly with the squads too, the workload for this alone was what hindered the progress of CAW. We aim to make this simpler for this new chapter but just as engaging and fun ! We didnt have much of an incentive problem in the last 2 CAW seasons so i dont want to add more workload with a system of ranks, but i will look into VOW2 but i feel it will need extensive php coding for the ranks and scoring system. Plus the il2 community is huge and the game can easily support this type of COOP i dont think LOMAC can. Wolf.

yeah just make loman installs for each plane then upload each plane individually with a screenshot (640x480). I could do it for ya but then it will look like im the author :s

you uploaded them as one file, so one of the skins wont be in the right section :( I will have to seperate them later then upload them (unless you have time to do so) Im amazed you got it uploaded as HTML struggles to except upload over 2-3mb probally why your 8+mb file failed the 1st time. Wolfie

CAW 1.12 is on its way people !!!! We have come up with a better and more manageable Campaign system which we are currently testing in-house, keep your mk1's peeled and pointing to the CAW site in the coming months for news. We hope to see the return before the summer of 2006 :D Wolfie.

i only speak english.......as i am english.....but i fly the frogfoot and ive been in a russian airframe squad since lockon was released. I dont know any Russian.....but i have no problem flying and killing anything on the ground that does or doesnt move :D !! In the vanilla frog you dont have any russian in the HUD, in the Su25T/Su27-33/MiG29 you do but you can turn on ENGLISH HUD anyway so that solves that. I suggest you use ENG HUD untill you know everything by heart then you can turn RU HUD on and you will know what they are because they are all in the same place plus some RU text looks like ENG text so you can guess, before you know it you will know it in RU. The cockpits are just eye candy in LO as they arent clickable so you rarely need to know what most of them do ! Only in the AFM planes the dials may do something that matters like exhaust temp etc but its not overly important. If they had a pit like in Falcon 4 you would need to know what they say as it all counts to the running of the plane, numbers are all the same so ALT and Speed willbe the same............so to recap, you dont need a ENG pit in the current flyables just read the manuals and learn where the dials you need are (ALT,HSI,MACHOMETER etc). The blackshark may or may not need a ENG depending on how much is clickable but from what i understand its not 100% clickable, so i think it willbe a simple case of learning the bits you need to know and enjoy :)

you can have english pits in all russian flyables ! you just need to know photoshop and edit all the BMP files that make up the the 2d pits, i severly doubt ED will make english pits for a few people who dont have time to learn a few russian symbols not that its really needed andways ! :D Have Fun

i really want the pilots POV moved up too, they dont seem real and situational awareness is enhanced by being higher. seat height in RL aircraft is adjustable. the view from the frog seat feels too low but im sure ED got it right. also F-15 and A-10 has a 2 stage airbrake that isnt modeled :( in RL they have around 30-50% to 100% airbrakes for different situations.
