I didnt call you a cheater Vox i said you werent very sporting hovering around the Frog base waiting for IMO "easy kills", this sort of behavior stops me from flying on HL and i rarely do as a consequence !! I couldnt even get to WP1 which wasn very far from takeoff, i didnt have time to be protected. This is called vulching and i think it can/will be solved by a S300 site forward of the homeplate ;)

ED need to put back what they took out so us server owners can lock the missions !!!

Vosxod is a tool ! I watched him on the 504 server spamming/mad dogging and vulching, he killed me twice as i climbed outta my base ! I couldnt even reach WP1.......i cant dodge AIM120 in a fully laiden Frog and dumping my weapons to do so is a waste of my evening. I appreciate that we are all targets but to hang around a base shooting down and wait for respawn is just lame. Hes a tool and i will continue to kick/ban his ass too.

try a faster HDD ? Maybe stuttering comes from slow access speed. If you have 3+gig of RAM i think WIN XP stops using HDD swapfile and uses the ram. Dont quote me though what a friend told me.

yeah IMO all these tests that are being thrown about says that if you play that mission this is what you'll get. What about more demanding missions ? I could make a mission that would really push your PC, but no one else could play online with you unless they had your pc spec or better. So paying all that cash for a uber pc IMO amounts to little when you play Lockon online as the missions are all average.........im not setting another VVS504 server day for UBER PC owners lol ;)

CPU is the daddy here m8.....there are Dual SLI 7800 owners here that gained 1 fps over their old 6800GT setups. I moved from 2.4gig to 3.0gig P4 and gained nearly double FPS with eye candy on, also 1gig of RAM is paramount and going to 2 gig would probally make the game run much smoother but not gain big FPS. Plus even if you run your Lockon flat out your team mates probally wont be, so the scenario would be "tally on bandit !" "what bandit ?" "high at 11oclock!" "you mean the bandit thats just popped into my radar at 128km notch?!" "yeah thats the one!!"..................so pros and cons are equalled. Just make lockon fly smooth.......and enjoy the flight, worry about FPS ? join a overclockers forum and play 1st person shooters ;)

So thats an old XP2800 clocked to XP3200..............which in itself is a 2-3 year old AMD running at around 2.0gig? Overclocking a CPU isnt an accurate sport and in many tests the CPU becomes unstable and misses caculations which in-turn looses performance. To me thats a bottleneck for Lockon as the graphics card and RAM are fine. Buy new CPU m8.

ED arent going to make a low poly Su25T. If your going to show random screenshots please supply PC spec and in-game graphic settings.:D I have a lower spec card than you and my FPS is higher, Lockon isnt bothered about your 9800 or 7800 Dual SLI it wants your CPU dead or alive ;) PC Spec: P4 3.0gig 1mb L2 Cache 800fsb DFI LANParty 875Pro 1gig of DDRAM FX5900XT 128mb DDR Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm ATA6 80gigLockon Settings: I run it as it is no "Enditall" programs or stupid placebo effect mind game DLL/LUA/CFG tweaks, ive tried them all in the last (nearly?) 2 years and they been trouble in the end. Same Position Su25T Screenshot: 20FPS (showing 22 in game) but after i take off the FPS rises to 30+ and is very playable, i proceeded to drop all the munitions on Krymsk airfield without any probs. not the smoke from rockets mate we are talking about the WP Target Marking smoke rockets. When you fire them they dont make visable smoke when they hit the ground with fog on.

one of my squad mates did the dx renderer and he couldnt see targets and stuff on a traing mission so i wont be trying that "route" ;)

smoke rockets work............turn on fog at any setting and smoke rockets dont show, turn fog off......smoke rockets work.
