i just got my TIR4Pro..............it blows the TIR3Pro away !! Straight away with standard install and Quick Fly on the Su25 mission i could get more head movement and less limits, it was way faster and smoother from the word go ! The 3Pro would sometimes get stuck or not go all the way to the limits of the pit without moving my head again, the 4Pro is just faultless outta the box ! Also the 3Pro would just switch off if i didnt put my trackhat on untill i was in game forcing me to quit and start again to enable it again ! I havent been able to repeat this "bug" with 4Pro . With the 3Pro i had to fiddle with the profiles and get the TIR set in the exact position or i would have limited view, the 4Pro has none of these problems giving more view and smoother,faster and more acurate movement. My advice to you is if you dont have a TIR at all then skip the 3Pro and get the 4Pro its worth it, the only "downsides" if you can call them that, is that it feels smaller and "delicate" on 1st handling it. But after giving it a good twisting about its actually quite tough ! Go one treat yourself.............its christmas !! :D Regards Dave

im a beta tester for saitek and ive used these for some time, they are ok afaik.

screenshot "proof" Playing on a 1.11 server is like playing BattleField 2 without Punkbuster......i wouldnt do it. We are being told there willbe new options in 1.2 to lock the missions, but 1.2 is 6-12 months away ! Now we have to spend the next 6-12 months accusing and suspecting. It makes me feel sick thinking about it. Ive dumped many MP games that i loved because of cheats........i hope Lockon doesnt go the same way.

There was no other instance of this loadout in the server untill the minute "BARCAP" joined, (504)Wolverine witnessed in game "BARCAP's" plane loaded with the non-standard load. Wolverine questioned him and "BARCAP then took off on the taxiway and fired off the noted quantity of "illegal" missiles. To ReCap: -No previous instance of the loadout. -Eye witness report from member of 504. News just in :- -After BACAP left (504)Grizzly entered the mission on the same plane and he too had the same load on debrief later. Some people accused him of using AIM54 also, I know Grizzly wouldnt have this load intentionally as he is the CO of our FighterWing. We do accept that it couldve been someone using his name in HL, this is why im giving a HEADSUP to admins and other players so they are aware or this BARCAP entity and not simply branding him and banning him. Ok the screenshot shows a pilot on the 504 server last night (09.10.05) around 23:00 zulu. Name : BARCAP Plane : Su-27 LOPE'd Weapon/s : R-27EM and AiM-54 He was spotted and questioned about his dodgy load whilst he took of on the taxiway (real pro ;)). He then fired x1 27EM and x3 AIM54 and then exited the server. This payload was not used at any other point in the night and the 17 pages of debrief have been checked. i could tell you my reasoning behind the menu but i think reading other peoples interpretation is more fun :) I thought id keep the RU theme with Tetris.......Lockon canbe quite puzzling at times :D

yeah i never believe those website bench mark tests. They arent normal home PC's. Usually a MOBO sat on top of its box with the hardware dotted around their mums kitchen table ;) its built to run 3dMark and all those geek tools for penis measuring websites. Letting a benchmark program burn in your hardware means nothing in the real world of gamers, its just a measuring stick for gauging the other hardwares specs. I wanna know how it fared whilst playing BF2 or Lockon online for 4 hours, wethere it was jerky or smooth not wether it got average FPS on "Quake Demo 4" lol.....pointless. 120FPS is not obtainable and i dont believe anyone who claims it with settings on high, if backed up by hard proof then i will change my statment but if that cant be shown then the claim is BS. Woah was that a flying pig ? ;)
