My new mobo Asus M3A78 Pro has 2x video output (1x VGA, 1x HDMI). My external PCIe card is a Nvidia 7900GTO. HOW can i have both internal, and external PCI-e enabled, allowing me to conenct a touchscreen to the internal card' VGA output? My setup: 2x 19" LCD monitors 1x 10" LCD touchscreen In the BIOS, i selected the external gfx card as default. Doing so disables the internal gfx card. Booting into Vista desktop settings, it detects the 2x 19" monitors conencted to the external (nvidia 7900GTO) card. yet, refuses to acknoledge the existance of the internal gfx. In BIOS, enabling the internal Gfx card results in a diabled PCI-e gfx card :shock:.

Flying with the 159th Aviation Regiment. Setup: 2 screens 1-screen;

I am using the DickDastardly 2-screen TB profile. However there are no output to the Shval or Abris. I run Tb networked. My DCS-computer is server, my other comp is client with Touchscreen attached. The networked profile works great, keypresses are sent etc. Its just that ABRIS & Skval not being output. Running your profile local has the same effect -- no Abris/Skval output. Whats going wrong where?

What about a Windows Mobile touchscreen phone, perhaps a version of TouchBuddy for Windows Mobile. I have Tb running on a 8" Touchscreen :)

I get this same error as crazysundog too.

I havent had much luck with this radio function. Its really unreliable difficult to get working. My conclusions are; * Using >1 .ogg-file in the radiostation directory crashes DCS * OGG files with the extension in capitols letters arent indexed into SampleDurationTable.lua * Deleting SampleDurationTable.lua and having >5 files into a radio directory would make DCS hang. This is probably a post in the wrong forum. The trackIR isnt working in DCS. After having had to wait >=1,5 week my russkaya (girl)friend sent me «Черная Акула» DVD from Kirov :thumbup. When ingame there is no TrackIR support :helpsmilie:. Strangely enough LOFC, ArmA etc works just perfectly. Whats working (sortof): * In Options, the X52, mouse, and TrackIR are listed. --> Selectting the Axis COmmands does list TrackIR Axis. * The TrackIR driver program shows Black Shark flight-profile begin active. * On the TrackIR device itself, a little blue light is lit indicating a known profile. * Putting on my track-hat with vectors, the green light is lit up. * The 4 faint red sensoring lights on the TrackIR are active. I did install the game directly from the DVD, standno patches, addons or otherwise modified. Could it be that DCS by default disables the use of TrackIR even with active profile selected? Moderators: pls make a DCS tech support sub-forum.

An impractical suggestion... How many DVDs can one carry with you to be remain within the 25kg max weight baggage allowance? Now, sum1.. go buy that weight in BlackShark DVDs, adding some to the price to cover charges and come redistrubute here to in the EU. Volunteers?? Or, any1 knows where one can order DCS russkiy DVD-version online, who will ship to W-Europe?

My first day here in Sint Petersburg, got to make about 350 foto's on one day :mrgreen: A few Mi-8's parked at Pulkovo airport Right next door to my hosting family, this disused tanks-storage area, looks like T-72's? Typical highway and offramp MANY MANy of these ??Tupelov??'s flying overhead to land at Pulkovo. Watch out!! A su-25T parked in one of those potholes :shock: The roads are in quite a good shape, just getting out on the rural areas is a pothole infested desaster. Railway crossing with extra safety precations, these ramps automatically appears when the booms go down. An "elektritshka" arriving at the Vokzal (station) of Strelna Me at Petergoff, the former royal palace. With a little extra russkaya devouchka :thumbup: The COOOOOOLEST THING: me with real life Operation Flashpoint/ArmA soldiers!! Ural: Food for the Su-25T's Vikhr OMFG!!!! DCS inhouse project management Hi devs, This isn’t a 100% DCS-question so please bear with me. How DCS as a commercial product managed differently than is say for example a new financial leasing system at a commercial banking institution? In my line of work my tools employed are Rational Unified Process, , Requirements management, Use Cases, team reviews feedback reviews with the key users. I am curious to know if any Project Managers / programmers / devs at ED have had previous experiences at banks / government agencies? In my experience commercial projects are cost/time driven while government projects are sometimes slowly paced, highly political nature with accountability shifted across multiple layers. 1. Do you use business cases? 1.1 Do you take in consideration target market, competing products, time-to-market etc? 1.2 Do you have multiple business cases, for each DCS iteration a new business case? 1.3. Do the end-user / core community input influence business cases? 2. How is scheduled work broken down into manageable pieces? 3. How do you get from business case to end-user program code, testable by ED Test team? 4. Are you writing out UML use cases, using object relations UML etc etc? 5. DCS is likely a very expensive, specialized product not appealing to a smaller market (unlike Battlefield 2, Crysis etc). 5.1 What commercially justifies the development of DCS? Bedroom programmers does it for the love/fun, DCS development isn’t free so what is the $$$-reasoning? 6.1 Are you using Use Case driven development & testing, RUP, PRINCE2 or something else? 6.2 How is work and releases scheduled of this? Are you working in iterations delivering more functionality on the go? 7. If possible, a short highlight DCS vs. Banking Project vs. Government Agency project? 8. How much specialized knowledge does a programmer need to be productive in this project? For example in order to accurately develop a section of functionality the DCS satellite geometry? 8. Any other tidbits relating to project management, requirements etc can you disclose? If possible I'd like to interview ED for a podcast series via Skype on the above topics.

So... That translates in my opinion to; * DCS release delayed until after the year >=2012 when planet X Niburu comes to visit us. * Doe this mean that Su-27 / F-15 as it is in current LOFC wont be included? Therefore even longer delays to DCS? I was wondering; 1. Which of those a/c will actually be flyable on the day of LOFC release? We have been waiting so long for DCS another 2 years wont be that a big deal :cry:.

Which (non)flyables are gonna be in DCS besides the Ka-50? I suppose the question has been asked before? Look at the promo-movie Action Point by ED, released about 8 months ago there are dogfights between MiG-29 and Su-27. At the "3 min 50 secs" a Su-27 dodges a missile by flying up a damwall. WTF? 1. Does that mean that DCS will will have flyable Su-27/MiG-29 etc? 2. Will ED disable them in the program code, so as to limit every1 to only Ka-50? 3. Was that movie made with a special inhouse-version of DCS, which we the consumers community wont have as end-product? Even myself a dedicated Su-25T pilot from The 159th, Strike Wing takes a Su-33 for a spin once in awhile. Many ppl such as my brother have clocked <=1 hour total in the Su-25T, countless other LOFC pilots havent touched the Su-25T in its entirety. Surely ED knows this, and wont wanna loose this crowd esp with new SAM and AI logic which would keep the fighter jocks occupied too. Maybe the official DCS website mentions flyables, and i havent seen or looked properly? Certainly we all are waiting for DCS though not every1 will wanna fly the Ka-50 all the time! No flyable fighters will be limiting the appeal and commercial success of the to-be released product.
