  1. 10700k, 3090, reverb g2....about 15 fps loss on avg, did a fresh windows and dcs install, no joy..avg about 40 to 45 fps no reprojection enabled which isn't bad....but lots of stuttering....and if I get to an area with action going on....eastern friendship mission 1 in the hornet comes to mind when approaching the smoke to provide cas, I drop as low as 20 when 2.5 I would maintain 55 to 60...guess its time to wait and see....may change refresh to 60 hz from 90 for now and deal with the flashing lens (not sure the technical term)
  2. 10700k , 3090 FE, g2...I been playing pre 2.7 at about 55 to 60 fps avg...on 2.7 its closer to 45....need to turn motion smoothing on again as its a jittery mess...not the clouds but everything as a whole. Reinstalled windows and dcs hoping to smooth things over but no joy. Ah well at least motion smoothing (wmr one disabled and using steams) has gotten better, pretty shaky on the ground or carrier but once in the sky its nice
  3. Yeah but if you have a crew chief worth a damn, air source will be put in norm, exterior lighting master to norm and lights to brt and flash, engine feed to norm....just saying -a viper crew chief
  4. Is this going to be a thing and become implemented? Maybe when DTOS comes around?

  5. eh on second I think this behavior might be correct, however...the steering line going bonkers seems...off.
  6. Made a quick track to demonstrate what I mean...discovered the other day while playing wild weasel with some sam sites. Designate tgt with tgp and go extremely low. CCRP line deviates extremely left or right with little to no wind. As i go for a pop up the line scans left and right very rapidly then shoots to a side. Makes popping up not even possible to loft and hit the deck for sam avoidance. I have tried all kinds of alignments...be it cold and dark with both stored/norm alignment, warm start, in flight start, runway start. Result is always the same so it is not alignment. I don't remember ever having these problems when i was playing with the 16 last April. I created this quick mission to make a track to show what is going on with a group of bmps, not that it matters what the target is. Made in vr so adjust camera view as necessary. I even went to the training section for cbu's and it seemed ok there, the only difference is there is no tgp in that training... ccrpBUGGED.trk
  7. Set tacan to carrier , turn it on with t/r then after alignment on the hsi when in nav hit UPT or udt...cant remember its almost top center, then hit tcn and ok...might work
  8. Well alignment anyway is 1994 for gps...as no pos/ains until I changed to a date after..
  9. Right, it was aligned start of mission with hot start, got back 1.5 hours later to airfield rearmed and thats when it happened, didn't touch alignment
  10. well..tried to attach the track...file too big. Oh well
  11. ok so I may have figured it out...I'm not sure. We had a hot start at the beginning...and even though its a 1992 mission...it defaults to nav alignment (pos ins) when I *assumed* it was IFA (pos ains) since I thought gps should be available post 1986, probably wrong....maybe the ins degraded overtime, the video took place around 2 hours after mission start...so maybe that was the issue? Only thing I can think of. or its just this =P
  12. Yeah I'm not too sure havent tried to reproduce, and yes bombs in FF
  13. I just so happened to get a recording post mission with some friends after landing and rearming from a2a to a2g. I noticed my bomb line in ccip is either sideways, going upwards, or straight ahead in my hud...mission date is in 1992 and ins knob is in ifa. I'm not sure what happened but bombing the target was impossible due to the fact the fall line was every way but down..also wind set 5knts for mission out of the west
  14. I believe that mission has you input 4 sets of coordinates as pre planned or set up waypoints and go too...1 per jsow...not sure if the target is the sa10 or something the sa10 site is guarding but its not practical.
  15. Yeah my jsow a's always get shot down...my c's are usually fine
