  1. No, but the rest of is a bit lazier, ServMan FTW. <-- End of OT -->
  2. ServMan v.3 The third iteration of ServMan is ready, this time for your DCS:A-10C Warthog. Yay! :D No new features for you in this version, DCS:A-10C compatability is the only change. Well, that and some minor bugfixes & code cleanup. Requirements: - DCS:A-10C Warthog 1.1.0.7 or newer. 1.1.0.6 not supported. For DCS:BS and FC2, see the previous version. Manuals: - Main ServMan 2.5 thread - Players Guide to ServMan - Squad Members Guide to ServMan - Admins Operation Guide - Admins Configuration Guide - Deep dive to ServMan New Download 3.0.1 FULL: See attachement below (will be uploaded to files@dcs as soon as you gents can give me a thumbs up) Old Download 3.0: http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/59497/ BIG BLUE NOTE: - You must use the serverconfig.lua attached within this package, since it contains new settings. Do not use your OLD serverconfig. ModMan 7.3 + Patch A-10C required - to install Attachment: ServMan301rc1.zip
  3. I have never heard about someone being put into a bunker in F1 (cockpit) view. A helicopter, it can be explained by some converted FC2/DCS-blackshark missions. But a bunker, no never. You did try to join different servers, not only 1 server? If you still have the problem: - Please try to reinstall, for example in a new directory somewhere else. - Test without any mods installed. Make sure you are using the latest version for full install: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=8&end_pos=135&lang=en
  4. Seems like we have some new rules for repping. - I tested repping without posting in the thread. Not allowed. - Posted a reply. Retested repping - this time it worked. - "Chit Chat" shouldn't allow repping at all.
  5. Nice photos - testing rep. PS: First post a reply - then rep. It should work then.
  6. rex, I've left them a message - keep in mind, they may be on easter holidays now. If thats the case, we wont see any response until next week.
  7. 1. You need to use the ticket-system and request an update there. 2. You may express your disattisfaction, but if you continue to act rude I will remove your posts and stick a warning to you. I'll give one of the admins a PM for you to see if they can check out why it's taking so long. But please take 20 mins to cool off.
  8. Sorry, but the forums may not get ED's attention. Please use the support-tickets to get in contact with ED: Sticky: How to contact Support
  9. Let's move along without using any religious content. 2 posts removed. Thanks.
  10. most enjoyable read, plus the bonus of the pictures. Cheers.
  11. As for Crusaders: http://mofak.com/Night_Infamy.htm
  12. Hm, embedded youtube works for me, distiler. Your browser?
  13. A good read indeed, gives good insight what modes to use - especially it seem to indicate that anything above 8x is a vaste processing power, while hinting that 4x might be more than good enough for most titles. And 'override' settings via the control-panael for Nvidai / AMD is a vaste of time in most cases. Good thing you can control these settings from DCS now. Thanks
  14. Btw, setting water to lowest setting is a good practice with the DCS. Water exist beneath all the landmass in the sim, it'll give you a nice little boost of FPS even when you're flying over land.
  15. Reinstall black shark to get the file back. Do not overwrite Blackshark.lua with controller configuration the next time. :)
  16. Thanks, it's good practice to patch from CD/DVD straight to 1.0.2 A very good reminder. Still, you posted this in the DCS:Warthog tech forums, I'm moving it over to DCS:BS. :)
  17. No, the mission shouldn't be running this badly straight out of the box. In light of your previous problems, I think you should get someone to have a look at your PC health. There are several factors to check if you're looking to increase FPS: - Excessive Software running, Bloat-software installed, past or present viruses, or software that steals too much CPU/GPU when you need it. - Drivers for your mainboard, harddrive interfaces, GPU etc. - BIOS config, poor configuration or outdated firmware. - Full disks, and/or fragmented drives. (mostly affects loading time, but a sim like this constantly loads things from the disk) - Corrupt Windows or system software. - Device conflicts, too much devices on the USB / too many HUB's There a section devoted to general troubleshooting here: Sticky: TROUBLESHOOTING - Help us help you. One quick tip - when you install Nvidia drivers, just install the drivers, not all of the 3D stuff & sound - not sure wether you get these options though. You can clean out old Graphics-drivers using driver sweep (see the troubleshooting post). Is the GTX 460 a dual GPU? If so, disable the builtin SLI while testing DCS.
  18. Please contact support, I think they may be able to assist you in this matter. Sticky: How to contact Support
  19. The uninstall / install info shouldn't be missing. Anyway, if you want to go to 1.0.2: - In that case, install 1.0 again - over the old directory. Before you do that, make sure your C:\ is healthy by running a 1. Start->Run: CMD 2. In the CMD type: CHKDSK C: /F If it asks to check the disks at the next reboot, just answer Y (if you have a english version). 3. Reboot to finish off the diskcheck. Now install over the previous directory, and after that, patch it up to 1.0.2 http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/patches/dcs_bs_patch_1.0.2_en/
  20. Okai, then you can force DCS:BS to recalculate the control-devices by deleting a few custom files. If you installed DCS at C:\Program Files(x86)\Eagle Dynamics - then you need to look into this place: "C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files(x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50" ".\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Config\Input\Aircrafts\ka-50\keyboard", Keyboard.lua is a bit newer than Default.lua then delete it. Leave Default.lua alone. ".\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Config\Input\Aircrafts\ka-50\joystick", look for files which are newer than Default.lua, and remove them. Leave Default.lua alone. This should reset you joystick and keyboard config. Then next time you start DCS, go straight to the Options, Controls and start re-configuring. If everything fails horribly, you can always try to reinstall.
  21. Vsync on/off?
  22. I wouldn't know how to get rid of it, but I know how to make suggestions: - Reset & clean out all Graphic drivers (as well as running driver sweeper), reinstall drivers. Need to get all the settings back to default. - If not change, try a full reinstall of the game, remember to clean out the C:\Users\<you>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog before you install again.
  23. If you can't find the uninstall or it's not working - delete the DCS Ka-50 dir - delete any files you have in C:\users\<you>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files xxx\Eagle Dynamics\DCS Note: AppData may be hidden, you may have to use WIndows Explorer, Organize and "Show all hidden files, folders and drives" - just install again, directly over the old location. - Patch directly up to 1.0.2c (skip 1.0.1) Then try again - and report back. Good luck :) If the problem remains with a unresponsive DCS: - Unplug all USB equipment, except Keyboard. Yes, it means removing joystick and Joystick software (such as Saitek SST), webcams, usb hubs - everything. - Deactivate Antivirus/antimalware for a short period. - Start DCS If success, bring back one thing at a time until it stops working again - then we will know what the problem is.
  24. Are you saying the old tricks using the keyboard / numpad ingame isnt working? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=782006#post782006
