  1. Just so you know, if you have vsync turned on in your game options it will override fast sync.
  2. Windows pagefile needs to be custom size as per the sticky https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230471
  3. See this sticky (few threads above this one) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230471
  4. Yep, been running DCS with vsync off in options and using nV Fast Sync with a 59fps cap (v2) in nVidia Profile Inspector for well over 6 months now.
  5. Yeah checking it again and it's still good, probably just some maintenance on Google's end.
  6. Link works ok here guys (UK) maybe Google drive is having a problem in your region?
  7. There should be no difference in terms of performance compared to stock textures.
  8. Yeah only the spring summer and autumn zips needed the alterations (mostly affecting the FARP texture and other objects that share it) the stock winter file is fine as it is.
  9. Just tested this method out just to verify and no unfortunately it doesn't work, wished it did.
  10. If you wish to continue using the mod then yes I'm afraid so.
  11. I just slapped together this quick demo to show how I manually install the textures
  12. First post is updated with 11th March 1.29 version, main terrain noise texture for spring summer and autumn has received a clean up in an effort to make details more consistent and better flowing, it's also using 'Sinc' mipmapping to enhance the clarity of texture.
  13. IC - Integrity Check for multiplayer (ensuring files are not tampered with) this has nothing to do with single player so you'll be fine.
  14. Do not launch single player or join any server before connecting otherwise IC will fail, always connect and join first time loading and you should get in no problem.
  15. As mentioned before the textures can only be used on server which allow custom textures or have IC off, use this screenshot as example
  16. Some screenshots of the latest version
  17. Update for 1.29 coming shortly in first post, a refinement to the low altitude landnoise.tif.dds file so it's not quite as grainy.
  18. That'll be your GTX1050Ti taking a hammering, maybe time to treat yourself to a beefier graphics card :)
  19. Personally I haven't tried but I reckon it should work fine.
  20. I initially ran this mod with an AMD R9 380 4gb graphics card and 16gb RAM it coped with it just fine.
  21. Yes and as time goes by more and more people are obtaining cards with more VRAM so it's not that much of an issue anymore.
  22. Hmm ok but that setting of 2.5 seems quite agressive, I take it you don't mind the texture tiling being extra repetitive?
  23. I used a form of mipmap sharpening for this noise texture, I can reduce this if it helps. Also nice screenshots BTW, what LUA edits did you use?
  24. None that I have seen, infact FPS has been identical but try for yourself and see.
  25. Yep use the Persian Gulf mod as linked below in my sig, it will also affect the Nevada map as aceviper says as the terrainoptions41.lua included is shared by both maps.
