  1. Anyone else in UK getting sub par download speeds? I usually grab the files at around 9mb/s but today it's capping around 0.8 to 1.2mb/s
  2. 2.5.4 patchnotes https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3726658#post3726658
  3. Using MSAAx2 plus SSAA 1.5 and it's awesome.
  4. There we go, a blocking bug haha :)
  5. It has been known for an update to be stopped last minute due to a block of some sort, hopefully this won't be the case today - BTW looking at the time we're entering the usual window of opportunity for an update :)
  6. Please set your pagefile to fixed custom 32768-32768 as seen in this post, it should solve your problem https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3645291&postcount=4
  7. Yep and I have also noticed that it can be reversed too, if you take off and land on a base after being on a ship the bouncing can sometimes stop.
  8. Going to a 1060 would be far better (or even a 1070 8gb if you can afford it) see these comparisons side by side versus an RX 570 https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB-vs-AMD-RX-570/3639vs3924 you won't see a huge jump going from an i5 to an i7 unless the clock difference is large or if it's a newer tech.
  9. Please set your pagefile to fixed custom 32768-32768 as seen in this post https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3645291&postcount=4
  10. 104th Server updated to 2.5.3.24984
  11. Yes if you like it should work, so it should look like this afterwards: options.graphics.fullScreen = false options.graphics.width = 1024 options.graphics.height = 768 options.graphics.render3D = false if not net then net = {} end net.download_speed = 131072000 net.upload_speed = 131072000
  12. Try this https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Jayl9Xa6I7oOZhZZxmL4lpXqLdAhPJCi it's a custom autoexec.cfg with parameters optimized for server up/downstream (similar to the one the 104th server uses) Extract the autoexec.cfg from the package and place into the servers Users\<name>\Saved Games\DCS\Config folder and see how it goes from there.
  13. Thanks for the feedback guys
  14. Main seasons noise texture are new mostly, as you can see from the screenshot above.
  15. I have a new v1.19 ready for a test out https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CtkZuOH6NGUILxZC-tLZerzVU6DT22lO let me know how this version compares to the last
  16. So sorry to see this channel removed, and shame on the busy bodies that ruined it for the rest of us.......
  17. It'll pass IC on servers that allow modified textures (see link below) https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3622298&postcount=43 also as mentioned many times recently - if you load a mission then attempt to join MP you will get a red IC shield, try to avoid loading anywhere else before joining a server.
  18. Yeah back in the waaay distant past I remember first flying Flanker 2.5 on a venerable ATi Radeon 9500 card in that resolution, then at 640x480 then 1024x768 it was amazing (SVGA baby woohoo)
  19. Have any of you guys recently updated your windows 10 to the latest v1809? You realize there are 'spectre' and 'meltdown' patches that have reportedly reduced CPU performance, makes me wonder how much of this could be affecting DCS users (BTW there is a small app out there which can switch these patches off so you can test to see if it's affecting things, Google 'inspectre')
  20. Congratulations on the release S!
  21. 16gb here with 32gb swapfile, zero problems in any 104th missions.
  22. All depends on how much is actually going on in the mission itself, the parameters allow for the extra flow of data for when things get heavy net traffic-wise (DCS defaults are much smaller and can choke the connection thus causing the client warping/rubber banding or even connection timeouts)
  23. You might benefit from using customized network upstream/downstream parameters, these have helped a lot of people for server https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Jayl9Xa6I7oOZhZZxmL4lpXqLdAhPJCi for client https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_cAXzm3-0VvDVDwfvbfcFHeqpqMexWiw simply extract the autoexec.cfg and place it into your C:\Users\<yourname>\Saved Games\DCS\Config folder.
