Big Newy writes in open beta hotfix: "DCS does not work on PCs with AMD processors that do not meet the minimum requirements of AMD FX". What does that actually mean? I have an Ryzen 3700x, is that something that will affect me?

Is that in multiplayer?

They might know whats wrong. But it takes time to correct it.

Have development found the reason? That's what I'm interested in.

Open Beta is crap, but ED is working on it. You can test it by installing last stable version, it should be OK.

It seems that there is nothing new here. It worries me greatly. Should I stowe all my flightsim gear away? Should I uninstall DCS? I realy don't know.

Hi Newy I don't think anybody is shooting at you. I think if ED explained in their own words what they are looking for, how far they got and give us as much details as possible. Then some of the bright heads here, might be able to come with some valueble input. For me it seems that ED is stuck and maybe a big brainstorm could trigger some ideas. My five cent's

Exactly, see all the highpowered PC's with problems. No way to upgrade out this mess. The GPU's and CPU's is not even allowed to run on max. Something serious is wrong.

Thereis also a lot of fps loss in 2D. Take it easy VR guys, you are not alone.
