  2. Nothing to do with F18, but if you wanna see smooth landings, here's the video:
  3. Its a F-16 wishlist thread
  4. Not according Chucks guide.
  5. Actually, I wrote its silly to go look at F2- So I mind it.
  6. Still would be nice with an instant indication, so we dont have to add "looking at IFIE" to the workload. BTW, according to Chuck, you cant use fuel flow to determent if AB is on or not: "Another peculiarity of the Hornet is that the reheaters can only be monitored with the nozzle angle and the afterburner sounds. The fuel flow indication does not give you the added fuel flow injected to the jet pipe downstream of (i e after) the turbine to the afterburner section. You can monitor engine parameters on the DDI ENG Support page and on the IFEI (Integrated Fuel/Engine Indicator) panel"
  7. I can't hear the afterburner and it's OK. But we need some kind of indication off afterburner on/off. It could be a "click" sound of a kind. It could be pilots head pushed a little back when AB kicks in and head a little forward when AB is turning off. It's very silly having to use F2 to verify AB off. Hope it can be done somehow.
  8. Yeah, the Super Hornet uses the A2 gun. A2 version was developed to F22. Less metal, so the A2 is just a lightweight version. The gun is not very good at strafing and in A2A it's most usefull under 2000 feet range.
  9. Great tuts. Thnx.

  11. I am using GR's videoes a lot. Right now I am learning the F18. I must say I have used the F18 tutorials many times. Without the F18 tutorials, it would have been hard to learn flying that AC. I have also used their Mission Editor tutorials a lot. Its very effective to be able to make own test/training missions. Great work GR's
  12. Had same problem with JSOW, only one station on the right wing. Not even with the "Doorbell" could I get rid of it.
  13. RedKite have made a new tutorial on the subject:
  14. Did not work for me :-(
  15. In night with bad weather, it is nearly impossible to see where to taxi. AFAIK aircrafts has very powerfull lights.

Not a bad idea, cause he have the stick and throttle. Regarding joystick, F16 uses the same stick. F18 is easy to setup with the Warthog HOTAS. Theese 3 aircraft uses much of the same weaponry, so when one aircraft is learned, number 2 and 3 is much easier.
  17. Brilliant, thnx
