DCS is not going to fullscreen after the hotfix today. The first time I loaded up DCS the windows taskbar was still showing at the bottom of the screen. I confirmed that "fullscreen" was still selected on the options page. I tried opening another window and the alt+tabbing out and back. I turned off fullscreen on the options page, reloaded, then reselected fullscreen...all no help. I selected the "auto hide taskbar" option in windows, and "confine curser to game screen" in DCS, and this partially helps but sometimes the taskbar still comes up when I move the curser to the bottom of the screen, and if I turn off the "auto hide taskbar" option then the taskbar stays visible and is clickable. I seem to have totally lost the fullscreen mode. This has never been a problem before. When I was playing yesterday it was working fine, but today after the hotfix this problem has started.

I have the same problem. Usually in MP and usually on the Syria map especially. I don't pick up the boat's tacan until I get with 10~15nm. I have to find the boat by using the recovery tanker's tacan (which works fine from a distance), or setting my datalink to the boat which puts the symbol on my TID.

Had this same issue today. Didn't seem to be a problem yesterday, today's flight was from a cold start...not sure if that had any affect on it.

Please don't forget the AI A-6E

The update just came out...the TARPs pod is in, but I wasn't able to see the boarding ladder. I checked for the boarding ladder on both static aircraft and uncontrolled AI aircraft.

Not there...the boarding ladder for static and AI aircraft isn't there either

What happened...? The new Air Bases didn't make it in to the patch again.

Any update on when the preorder will be available on Steam?

I wouldn't get too hung up on Eagle vs Tomcat stuff, every plane has strengths and weaknesses. In the case of the USN and USAF, we are all on the same side. Dale Snodgrass explains Tomcat vs Eagle really well in this clip:

I've been having a problem with the TACAN since at least 2.9..I can't pick up the boat's TACAN until I'm within 20~25 miles. I've been having to use the recovery tanker's TACAN to guide me in until I get pretty close and then switch to the boat's signal. In the hornet, the carrier's TACAN seems to work normally.

The new airbases didn't make it into the patch? Nothing in the patch notes.

Yeah, I have the vsn model for deck decoration on a few practice missions I have. But the vsn A-6 is a mod..so it is no good in multiplayer, same as downloaded skins. To fit things into multiplayer missions so that they can be put up on the server and anyone can easily join and fly, we need the A-6E to be a default DCS AI aircraft.

I believe the location of Tabuk / King Faisal air base in SA is on the map. I would be nice to have.

Please add airfields in Jordan and Saudi Arabia

I been flying my Tomcat about everyday in MP since the update. I haven't seen any change in Jester or Aim-54 performance, both working just fine as usual or me.

I was just trying out the game after the update...the A-6E is in the ME aircraft list now, but it doesn't seem to have any model. When I added it and tried to run the mission, DCS just froze and I had to restart it. Maybe it was put in by mistake.

The 2.9 changelog was just posted and still no AI A-6. Back in May, HB posted that the AI A-6E would be coming in the summer...and now it is Oct. I know HB is hard at work on the F-4E (which I am really looking forward to), and I know the AI A-6 is not the highest priority, but it has been years now since we saw it flying in a video. I don't mean to complain too much, but would love some info from HB on when we will see it and maybe what the holdup has been.null
