  1. Yes, and you/we also have to make Eagle Dynamics change the game engine for DCS first ;) According nVidia VRSS will only work with games that uses forward renderer. And unfortuneatly, DCS does not. It uses PBR rendering, or something like that. I tried this trick last night, and it doesn't work.
  2. Thanks, but I think dcs.exe should be the file to rename also for non-steam versions? That's what is running when we are running the game? The updater launches into DCS.exe, doesn't it? Anyway, I tried renaming the updater filename to Boneworks, and followed all the steps in the first post here. Didn't see any improvement at all. Also, according to nVidia, the game must use forward rendering, and I've read that DCS doesn't use that.
  3. Sorry for asking stupid questions... but: 1. How do I rename DCS_updater in Boneworks? Not sure if I know what Boneworks is or what it does. 2. Does it really work inside sim? Is there a visible improvement? I read somewhere that the renderer used for DCS really can't use this new function anyway. Anyway, I will try to check it out and google this boneworks thing :) I would really like to make this new VRRS to work in DCS :)
  4. DCS is not on nVidia´s list. Yet. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/nvidia-geforce-ces-2020-game-ready-driver/
  5. Thanks, that makes sense :)
  6. Tried both :) Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but none of them worked, can't see frame rate in game with VR. Strange. Even tried mapping the function to another key, but... nope. That doesn't work either.
  7. Ok, thanks, I will check out the frame rate with lctrl/pause next time I fly. But it's normal for the indicator to disappear when motionvector is forced, and only be there when set to "auto"?
  8. For me the indicator is visible when I have set motion reprojection to "auto". When I set motion reprojection to "motiovector" the indicator doesn't show up anymore. I have the "motionReprojectionIndicatorEnabled" line just as it was before, set to "true". The only thing I changed is setting from "motionReprojectionMode" : "auto", to "motionReprojectionMode" : "motionvector", and that makes the indicator disappear. So don't know if it is working or not.
  9. I've have usually set my motion reprojection to "auto" in the default.vrsettings file, and have had the indicator to enabled (true) to see the effects of my settings. But when I set motion reprojection to ""motionvector" to force to 45 fps, the indicator doesn't work even when set to enabled/true. Is there anyway to see if it's working? This isn't just for DCS but for all my VR games/apps. The indicator in the top left corner disappears when motion reprojection is forced/set to "motionvector".
  10. Thanks a lot, I will wait with the software then. I'm pretty overwhelmed by everything as it is :D And it seems to work for now.
  11. Thanks, Windows installed drivers automaticly when I plugged the Hotas into the USB ports. And no other software was installed. I never downloaded anything or installed any files from CD or internet. So no other software other than the drivers - that Windows installed by itself just as any other gamecontroller.
  12. Hi, a newcomer here on this forum. Been flying flight games/sims since 1982... And finally I made the dream purchase, I recently got my Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas! And I love it! Don´t know why I didn´t buy it before.... I´ve used different Saitek series hotas systems earlier. But this - this is an huge upgrade! Anyways, when I got it I just plugged it into my PC, and it worked. And in DCS A10c it was very easy to tweak those minor changes I wanted. So, are there any reasons to install any Thrustmaster software on my system?
  13. Sorry you had a bad experience with the Reverb. And clearly you must have had a faulty headset. It is not suppose to look like this. I would have sent back mine too if I had these problems. :)
