Hawk isnt supported. Thats why you have to use a older version if you want to play it. In ED terms "supporting" means that they will fix all game breaking bugs but it wont proably get more than that but hey, at least you can still play it. Better than no Harrier.

More surface ships for more varied naval scenarios.

Get the currenthill mod https://www.currenthill.com/usa

1. Go air to ground mode 2. Master arm, ON 3. Delivery mode: SET 4. Fuze: Nose, Tail, Nose/Tail 5. Release. I bet you forgot to set the Fuze

1. Its probably more complicated than you think 2. They have higher priorities
-
This was requested so many times already.
-
There are two ways to achieve that already: 1. Make a route and add at the last waypoint the "switch waypoint" command and make it so that it goes back to the first waypoint to do the whole route again. 2. Create two waypoints and add to the last waypoint the "Orbit" command. You can chose if the plane should flying circles or if it should fly a racetrack between the two waypoints.

Any update as to when mid-mission saves will be implemented?
Mike_Romeo replied to goot66's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Its because they dont have a lot of resources and a relative small team. They cant make progress fast especially in a game that is as old as DCS. -
China has JF-17 since Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group is helping with developing and building the aircraft. China/Chengdu are operating JF-17 prototypes like these one:

Any update as to when mid-mission saves will be implemented?
Mike_Romeo replied to goot66's topic in DCS Core Wish List
No it wont. Imagine recommending a game "because it has a mid mission save" option. Lmao, this is pretty much the standard in any game and the truth it that DCS players dont play DCS because of that but because they can fly the aircraft they love. It wont even change anything gameplay wise. All it does is reducing the frustration that you havent accomplished anything and that you have the start the mission from the beginning again. -
Better modeling of pilot's head movement

Here a 360° Eurofighter cockpit video where we can see how the pilots head moves during turns -
Better modeling of pilot's head movement
Mike_Romeo replied to Supernova-III's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Totally untrue. I do fly in real life and my flight teacher thought me to keep my head relative to the plane and not to the horizon. This is so that you have a better orientation of the planes axis in 3d space. -
"on the wish list" and "not in high priority" means it wont come for the next 10 years

In my opinion, first place is way too generic to have won. Just place two ships and a F/A-18 and win. People have set up crazy missions in the ME to get a perfect picture of a combined operation meanwhile first place looks so effortless.

Show ‘client’ aircraft as static if not taken
Mike_Romeo replied to deltatango's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I tried that with the Growling Sidewinder server mission. Huge FPS hit due to all the high quality models.- 23 replies

Currenthill mod has that: https://www.currenthill.com/russia

You can use the DSMC mod meanwhile: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ "This mod will enable the capability to save all the scenery/mission current situation and create a new mission (.miz) file with all the updated data, like the alive or dead state about units, buildings or static objects, their updated position, and the warehouse items (fuel, weapons, etc)… and much much more."

Only real modern redfor plane we might see at some point are Chinese Su-30 by Deka Ironworks. They are working on a Su-30 for some while and who knows if it becomes more.

Deka Simulations announces the DCS: J-8II for DCS World!
Mike_Romeo replied to Mike_Romeo's topic in DCS: J-8II
Yeah no. Its much harder to get hands on J-8F docs that are/were in service than a J-8PP that might never even have flown
