  3. The ammunf of flares is correct. The model of the flare dispenser used on the JF-17 model is wrong.

  5. Make sure datalink is off. TACAN doesnt work in the Jeff as long as datalink is activated.

  8. Yes, you can move the awacs to a different frequency and only join that freq when you need it. For FC-3 planes, press Rshift+M twice to change "receive mode" to mute the awacs.
  9. Because they modeled a version before the PL-12 got introduced. Thats why it carry the R-77. Also this change of pylon visibility is for the entire community that can now put anything on them without floating in multiplayer.

  11. Guess why they are making it. Cause it never flew and it was supposed to uses mostly western avionics. Yet the most modern one of all current and future planed redfor aircrafts.
  12. 1. The Afghanistan map is not spitted. When you buy Afganistan south for example, you still get the whole map but only detail terrain in the south. 2. If it was so easy to make redfor aircrafts, why dont the other third party developers do it then ? Yes there are 3rd party redfore modules incoming like MiG-23 and SU-22 but its only ED who had the balls to make something as modern as the MiG-29. 3. The figher collection that holds the "useless planes flying" existed before DCS and without them, DCS wouldnt even exist.
  13. I found some pictures of the dispensers with the correct amount of 18 flares per box mounted on a Jeff. Pictures are from a JF-17 on display at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Here some more pictures of the particular jet.   14. If I had to guess, it wont be fixed for many years like many other other bugs. To fix this bug, they would have to create a new flight model for it (Its still using AFM instead of PFM) and since it takes a lot of resources, it wont be worth it. Here a example, this bug was reported 2017 and just got fixed with the latest update after more than 6 years
  15. Okay that sounds more like a you issue. With exception of the J-11A, Su-33 and some F-15C, the aircarfts are not preloaded with missiles and stuff. You need to load them on your aircraft on your own. To do that, contact ground crew, open the rearm and refuel window and load the weapons onto your aircraft.

  17. Not true. Once you returned and shut your aircraft down, open the rearm and refuel menu and change NOTHING other than fuel and countermeasures and it will reload the missiles you had in the beginning. This was fixed with the latest DCS update
  18. We dont aim to be realistic but fun. I mean, the GS server wouldnt be the GS server if it would be realistic. Many Flanker players don't feel like underdogs anymore and thanked us for that. It also helps to balance both sides. Better compare it to the Su-27 with R-77. Also pretty sure a Mach 2 J-11 at 40.000ft with only 4 missiles will outrange the JF-17 by far + its not as limited by radar range as the Jeff

  20. Rockets are a no go because their exhaust, when firing, will get right into the air intakes and could cause a engine stall.
