  1. I hope the G940 flightstick is more smooth then my X52 cause thats the only problem I have with the X52, it kinda sticks so its hard to make minor and exact changes and I know that the problem is the plastic thing with the spring at the base of the stick, the friction between that plate and the plastic underneath makes it stick a bit.
  2. I know exactly what you mean but the difference is that I blew it 2 times, concentrating on the men hiding in the treelines just before the village and then out of nowhere those bastards jump out from the building and well I was a sitting duck leaving me haning in a parachute. Well well, thank God its only a sim
  3. And one of few helicopters that does loops and rolls quite well is the English Lynx mk 7/mk 9, one of the things its famous for. Sorry for offtopic. My fps are quite good right now but I still experience CTD sometimes but not that much as before when I had my GFX overclocked.
  4. I agree with you totaly. This is almost like Chromehaunds, an online multiplayer mech simulator on xbox 360. In this game you hade to activate nods along the way to establish comunications between players and these nods had a sertain range.
  5. Ah okay so if I get this right this is for people who make their own panels/input buttons so they can map them easy to any instrument in the cockpit?
  6. I've read the whole page and I still look like a questionmark. What is this for? What does it do? Who killed Kennedy?
  7. I use the new drivers and they work for me, have not seen any improvement though.
  8. Ah okay, you seem more into this then I am but speaking for myself I must say that beyound 50 fps I can't really see any difference and everything over 40 fps works smoothly for me.
  9. The thing is that to go beyound 60 FPS is just waste of FPS. The human eye can only register a maximum of 60 FPS, thats what I heard anyways. One more thing I noticed yesterday when I was playing. My FPS was between 40 and 70 FPS all the time so it was all okay but even then I noticed some sort of lagg when there where more things happening. If it does not lower my FPS then what kind of lagg is it?
  10. I understand you completely but I'm like this with almost every onlinegame I play, I have to much pressure on myself and I don't want to let my fellow companions down. The best online experience I have is with older people who teach others how to do it right instead of complaining all the time. We are all newbies in the beginning.
  11. It would be awesome. I'm more into flying so it would indeed be great :)
  12. I tried to install 181.71 on my windows 7 system but it said that it was not compatible with my hardware (GTX 275) so I could not install it. I installed the new nvidia drivers 190.62 instead and for now everything is working.
  13. The video was wounderfull indeed not to slow and not to fast with every explanation that you need. I'm looking forward to buying more videos when they are released and I hope that is soon :)
  14. Well that might be true but I gain about 10 fps when its overclocked thats why I know that it made some difference on the cpu. I did complete the first mission in the campaign without any crash, what I did was turn off the overclock of the gfx card that I made but then it could also just be luck this time. I will test further and see if I get any more crashes and if I do I will go back to default settings.
  15. Yes but in CPU-Z its 3.6 Ghz and in bios. I think that DXdiag just show what the stock cpu is.
  16. Thanks, here is my information from DXdiag. Notice that I have a dualcore 3.0 Ghz but overclocked to 3.6 Ghz http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/4150/dxdiagbpd.jpg
  17. Have never used DXdiag but I know how to start it up. Should I start it before I run the game and let it run in the background?
  18. I have a normal soundcard too, Realtek HD 7.1 but the thing is that HS-1000 headphones supports alchemy and I used it in Vista x64. You might be right that its not a complete soundcard built into the headphones, maybe its just the x-fi filter or something but it should work with alchemy. I have contacted Creative and of course the only answer I got was that they have not technical support on windows 7 untill it is released in october. This is the bad thing when I always get the operating systems in advance, I just have to wait untill october and then get the real drivers for HS-1000 and windows 7. I get sound so its not that but the sound is not as good as it could be with alchemy. I have tried different drivers for hs-1000 without any luck, I just have to wait.
  19. Nice one there! I have always been looking for an answer on what drivers to go with for windows 7. I use the latest one right now but if you think these ones are better I will give it a try if I can get hold of them. Are you running DCSmax allso?
  20. Thanks for the pictures. I now have the AA and AF on max but maybe it is going a bit to far so I will try different settings and find one that suits me fine :)
  21. Having the same problem. When I thought everything was fine I get these crashes all the time. I got it the first time after installing windows 7 ultimate the real version not the beta but I thought it was a one time problem at first but I almost never get through a hole mission without these crashes where windows tells me that DCS have encountered a problem. I tried normal single missions and the campaign without any luck. Attaching my crash files and see if anyone knows whats wrong. I have allready tried a fresh install so thats not the problem. I do not own a sidewinder mouse btw, I have a logitech laser mouse. Intel 3.6 Ghz dualcore GTX 275 Geforce x52 flightsystem G13 logitech gaming keyboard Saitek Pro Gamer command unit crash.rar
  22. That I know, but I was confused that it did use the v-sync but not the other stuff. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :D It works now. I read about someone and used his settings and he had it on "enhance application settings" and that did not work but when I turned on to "force application settings" it worked! Well at last I can sleep with no worries :) I have added the dcs.exe so it was not the problem :) Well thanks everyone for helping me out and for all quick answers, of to flying again :pilotfly:
  23. Yes I have read this thread many times and done all the things but with no success :( I even tried to set the same settings in global mode but it did not work either. Damn this makes me frustrated!
  24. Hmm thats weird, I can see them but I have uploaded them again to imageshack instead, hope you can see them http://img529.imageshack.us/i/25035848.png/ http://img9.imageshack.us/i/bsen.png/
  25. Well here are two pictures, the first one with default settings in nvidia and the second with advanced settings (AA/AF on) But the right exe file to load into nvidia is dcs.exe right?
