Aus der Zeit in Fürsty gab es Fälle, als ein "Delinquent" den Sitzturm mit halber oder auf jeden Fall teilweise abgebissener Zunge überstand - was immer dann der Fall war, wenn man den Instruktoren nicht richtig zuhörte und noch ein paar letzte Worte äußern mußte bevor man nach oben abflog. Ich mußte das zum Glück nie live erleben oder anwenden, aber der Sitzturm war gefürchtet und berüchtigt und hat einem zumindest gezeigt, wie es dann abgeht, sollte man den Handle am Sitz abziehen müssen. Fliehkräfte haben mich auch nie ernsthaft gestört, ich persönlich empfand sie aber immer als 'angenehmer' mit der entsprechenden Hose an. Die schlimmsten Flüge für mich waren Langsteckentrips über den Teich, der Frankenstein (wasserdichter Kombi), Windel und nicht viel Platz zum bewegen, da pfiffen die Knie teilweise auf dem letzten Loch.

I could recommend you the BenQ ZOWIE XL2746S, comes with 240Hz and Full HD with 1920x1080, Im using it for RPG, FPS and for sure DCS. Its maybe above your invest ceiling, but worth a think-about-it.

Ich hab ein Paar Saitek Pro Flight Pedale und kenne das Problem mit der hakeligen Mittenstellung. Hatte den mal zerlegt, weil das rechte Poti irgendwie ein Eigenleben entwickelte und danach klemmte das beim Treten auch. Lösung brachte hier die Friction brake nochmal soweit möglich zu zerlegen und drauf achten, daß die "Klemmplatte" unter dem Drehregler nicht klemmt, sonst baut man das gleich wieder mit Anfangswiderstand zusammen. Hab damals leider keine Fotos gemacht. TFRP ist mir persönlich von der Pedalerie her zu weit zusammen und ich mag das nicht so, wenn die Quanten längere Zeit so dicht zusammengezwängt werden, ist beim echten Jet auch nicht so. Nächstes Objekt der Begierde wären allerdings die Saitek Pro Flight Combat Pedale, da muß man sich dann mit der Toebrake ein wenig umstellen, aber sonst sind die Klasse.

Has had this configuration (not with that adapter) last under early W7 with my old TM stick, encountered lots of movement flickerings and very unprecise steering, would not recommend.

Ich habe diesen Noblechair in der nVidia Edition, kostete vor 3 Jahren 369,- bei mindfactory. War nicht billig, aber habe schon zig Flugstunden beschwerdefrei da drin verbracht und er ist sein Geld wert. Vorher hab ich alle 2 Jahre einen neuen gebraucht, weil der andere durchgesessen war oder die Feder durch, was auch immer. Mir war es das wert.

Bilde ich mir das ein, oder hat die F-18 bei Landungen auf Airfields mit den Bremsen im Grunde keinerlei Verzögerung? Verfehlt man den richtigen Aufsetzpunkt, kann man auch gleich durchstarten, weil die Bahn bei einigen Plätzen dann zum Ausrollen einfach zu kurz ist. Das kenn ich von der F-14 so gar nicht...

To make you memories a bit easier, assign to the modes ie 1 for take off/landing, 2 for cruise/refuelling and 3 for battle operations. That helped me a lot since I owned the X52 in older times.

Nee, das krieg ich schon hin^^ Beim FSX wurde das Teil unter dem FSUIPC betrieben, Open Cockpits hat eine Software namens LUA für DCS. Bin kein Script-Kiddie und verstehe davon nicht genug. Ein HID ist es nicht, das wäre ja zu leicht, aber trotzdem werde ich mal nach Start eines Fliegers das Menu aufrufen - und dann berichten.

This is my actual layout, I know, the display is an old one but its brilliant and crystal clear for all kind of other games. Nevertheless, DCS has some issues by got displayed into full mode aside of windowed, all icons and buttons are dislocated from direct hitpoints.

Moin zusammen, ich bin sehr frisch bei DCS und fliege primär die F14 mit dem TM Hotas Warthog, Saitek Ruderpedalen und 2 Cougar Rahmen, die sind aber noch nicht eingebunden. Aus FSX-Zeiten und der zu kurzen Phase vom MadCatz Combat Flight Simulator nutze ich von Open Cockpits ein Com Panel und wäre mal neugierig, ob sich das bei DCS integrieren läßt, wobei mir klar ist, daß die Architektur der Cockpits sich weit von denen aus MS-Hand unterscheidet. Hat das mal jemand probiert?

I wont hijack the thread, but my question seems to be fitting in here, hence its vice versa ultra-wide. Im playing DCS until now onto a 22" CRT display (pls dont laugh too hard) and got after installation a windowed (nearly half-wide) screen to play. At trying to enlarge to e.g. 1440 x 1280 the location of all buttons, prompts and handles are sliding downwards, so if im into the main config menue I have to slide the mouse to the desired icon and then pull it down until the icon is become highlighted. Thats no way to play so I enlarged it to the max and set full screen. That had made the negative effects much more better but not finally solved. Now the question is, if DCS are into the actual 2.5.4 are be able to scale older monitors aside from LCD, LED, (…) or is the only way to come out of this is to buy a complete new display? Thank you.
