  1. Very Impressive! How do you obtain some of those views? I am truly jealous. GREAT JOB
  2. No crashes for me on 'A-10s and F-16s' mission. I was trying to do all the missions on the day specified in the campaign, but alas, Hammerfall 3 mission ruined that :). 3rd time is a charm! Great campaign, thank you for your hard work. As soon as I am finished I am going to dig into how you built the missions (if that is even possible with campaigns) to help me with my own mission building. I just love how you have the wingman on the 1st mission flying close formation. Thank you again!
  3. I too have that problem with the HUD. I look forward to better answers, but in the meantime some.times it helps to change the HUD from day to night. The switch is located on the front, lower left. If I remember correctly it is right below the arming switches.
  4. Good flying.... when you say sling load, you really mean it! Your load was really moving as you approached/entered the bridge span. I, myself, can neither hover much less pick up a load, so I am impressed! Thanks for sharing.
  5. Thanks for the help! I had actually edited that file, but for some reason it didn't save using Notepad++. With your information, I tried again and opened Notepad++ as Admin and then the save "stuck" and FOV is all better.... thanks again!
  6. My usual way of updating the file in my user folder doesn't seem to be the way, aircraft not in the file. Searching the forums, I found something about modifying the view.lua in COREMods, but it appears to have no effect (did find some 109 related configs there though). Any help is appreciated!
  7. By default it is RShift-L I believe.
  8. I have experienced similar to OP, but not at my computer to put up a track atm... I'm pretty sure i was under 450 as I usually rotate and let the aircraft lift off. Will post track when I can.
  9. That was a cool video, glad he pulled it out.
  10. Woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, trolling forums to get sleepy.... now my heart is pounding and I wanna fly. Thanks for the video, you have a new subscriber.
  11. Well done, thanks for sharing!
  12. Yeah, I connected with the F-15 to find that there was the "cheat" mode of autopilot. I then decided to get the Su-33 connected and expected the same "cheat"... Imagine my surprise! I was very happy to find that the Su-33 experience wasn't "dumbed down".
  13. Not If you have tanked the A-10 like a million times and the Su-33 only a few times :). I understand the flight dynamics in the A10 are more accurate, I was just indicating that I have just started trying to tank with the Russian birds and let Belt know that I thought that was quite an accomplishment.
  14. Grats! That is an great accomplishment... Did you get it all in one drink? :) Keep practicing! I can refuel the A-10 in one drink, but new to the Russian style of tanking so that is a challenge for myself. Again, big congratulations on refueling
  15. Yes, Congrats Yurgon! I too have been trying to complete this mission. It takes a lot of patience and I have very little, so a very good exercise for me. I can't wait to post that I have also completed this!
  16. I can't see the Adjusting Controls being implemented in MP, as not sure what to do with your aircraft as you are "out of sim". MP is meant for Real-Time, therefore no time to adjust. Having it in SP is just fine by me, can't imagine having to adjust all the time and you can simply fly SP until you have things right, then go MPing.
  17. I was just on that server, what a hoot to see all those planes and helos flying around, actually had to make sure the runway was clear before taking the active!
  18. Big Thank You for Control Adjustment During Mission This was an unexpected welcome when I updated to 1.2.7. How many times I have adjusted my controls in 1.2.6 (and previous) thinking I had it just right, only to find out after mission load that I had missed an assignment! Lets face it, the load times are fairly long so this was a bit frustrating to me, my fault for forgetting. Just wanted to say thanks for this great addition to the devs that put this in. ~Thump.
  19. Thank you for the replies. In looking through the control options the button normally used for Nosewheel Steering on Thrustmaster Warthog Joystick appears to be "double assigned" for both 'Stick to trimmer control mode' and 'HOTAS Nosewheel Steering Button'. I attempted to clear the assignment, but when I click OK on the options screen it will not save (nor close out the options dialog). I tried different variants of the above with no joy. I then deleted all the files in 'C:\Users\User\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\A-10C' hoping that would clear it up and it did.... however now I can no longer seem to save any new button assignments. I will post this problem in a different thread to see if anyone else has any insight to this new problem.
  20. I am very glad to hear that refueling has been fixed for the 1.2.7 update. First thing I did after updating was to load up my practice mission and give it a go. Unfortunately for me, being a bit rusty after a bit I disconnected. Before when this happened I could hit the refuel/reset switch (nosewheel steering button on the Thrustmaster Warthog joystick) to reset the 'Disconnect' to 'Ready' and then I could attempt to reconnect to the tanker. After the update, pressing the reset button appears not to work, I checked the controller settings and now nosewheel steering button appears to be remapped to 'Stick to trimmer control mode'. I am not sure what I should remap my button to to reset the refueling so I can connect again, anybody know the answer? Thanks in advance.
  21. If you are still having problems, I also had issues there. What I found out was that some switches on the Thrustmaster were not in an "off" state, by that I mean having the flaps switch in the "up" position is not in an "off" state if you look at the settings in Game Controller Devices. Once I opened up the Game Controller devices dialog and moved all the switches in order to have all in the "off" state, I could then successfully assign and use a PTT switch with my Thrustmaster with TS. I guess with any of the other switches seen as in the "On" state, TS didn't know which to use really. Hope this helps
  22. Still glad you asked the question... I had the FreeTrack view LCtrl+F11 down, but didn't think to do the "Lock View" using Numpad . Good stuff, thanks for the info peoples.
  23. just flew it on 1.2.6. Thank you for your work on this mission, good times. Turns out.... I stink.... back to practice it.
  24. I'm in the same boat as above. Heck of a good way to practice your formation flying for sure, but not a good way to the start of a mission... Endless loops around the airbase.
  25. Same here, frustrating. 150MHz just has noise on it so can't use the normal freq to contact tanker, once I changed the freq. I could attempt to connect, but at connect told that transfer complete. Tell the wingman to hit tanker and left with him connected indefinitely. Hope this gets fixed sooner rather than later, tanking is a big deal to me in this sim.
