  1. The easiest way to taxi around without getting a flat is to use the correct taxi speed. I line up the screw that sticks up from the throttle handle with the second mark, I believe this must be what it's there for. Anyway, it gets me at the right taxi speed regardless of what is loaded on my plane. It's a bit slow for a long drive though LOL. You can see it pretty well in this pic:
  2. I would try learning the vanilla Su-25 first, it's a bit more forgiving to fly. Kinda like like AFM training wheels lol.
  3. Are you a Bill O'Rielly fan? :D
  4. There is no autopilot in the Su-25. Autopilot for Su-25 = Trim :D
  5. Also, it is labelled "NOMEXA".
  6. It's so funny to me how ED works with a 6 month thing. For a "true" promise date, add 6 months to what they say to get closer to what it will REALLY be. Expect a patch for this product 6 months after release, despite that they "think" it will be ready in about a month. In Lomac's history, the only time that I can think of that it didn't go down like this was 1.01, and I'm assuming that it was Ubi who was pushing them for it. Personally, even though 1.01 had alot of problems, I was pleased with the speed it came out and thought it was much better than 1.0. But then of course we had the 6 month wait for 1.02 . . .
  7. Man, I love this guy!!! Rep inbound!! I totally agree on the comms, but even more so on the Jaguar. Here's some pics for ya . . .
  8. To expand a bit: you have to carry the Phantasmagoria pod to be able to target anti-radar missiles. The Su-25 can't carry it, maybe since it doesn't have a true HUD to be able to display the targetting info.
  9. Well, the best I can do is babelfish, but here it is:
  10. Vector expansion does tilt left/right also.
  11. I don't think this is head roll like Jet Thunder is doing, I think it's more likely to be the new vector expansion support.
  12. Check out the first of the cockpit pics, with the MFD in it. The last line on the MFD says "LO12BETA". :P
  13. Dunno if anyone else noticed this yet but there are 8 new Black Shark screens in the screenshot section of lockon.ru. Some damn nice ones of the cockpit too!!
  14. I would prefer that they make smaller patches, but more of them (and more often). This waiting for 4-6 months for 1 patch sucks!! Most other companies would have given 3 or 4 in that time (Lead Pursuit for instance).
  15. No, once you recieve it, it's yours. No sense in paying for it twice!!
  16. I have a TrackIR 3 pro and I love it, but I didn't get the vector expansion. But apparently with the vector the whole experience is a bit more stable, there is less chance of the trackIR losing the dot. Also, I understand that with the vector when you shift your head side-to-side in the current Lomac, that it won't turn your view, with just a dot this will turn the view. So basically it will be less likely to pick up your accidental movements if you have trouble staying still.
  17. We have GOT to have a Jaguar in Lomac one day!! ED, do this for us or I will form up a group to come over there and force you into submission!! :D P.S. Just kidding BTW!!
  18. Well, then that highly populated city becomes barren--not what he had in mind . . .
  19. Is there not any way to put a Phantasmagoria or something on it so the SEAD missiles will work? The reason I ask is for balancing MP missions--I would like something SEAD-capable to put on the blue coalition.
  20. I thought of another one that I think is actually pretty important: If the server quits the current mission, all scores should be zeroed when the next mission is loaded.
  21. Seconded . . .
  22. You're welcome!! You will find that the F12 key will be used quite a bit, if you shift position in your chair or something you will need to re-center. I have F12 mapped to my X-52 since I have to use it so much.
  23. It's funny how this thread turned out!! But really, the scoring ideas that I mentioned would in some way solve these problems--you want to fire 6 missiles at a single target, then fine. But you (and your coalition) will lose some points. And if you carry an "expensive" a2g missile and miss your target it with it, you will also lose points. I'm not talking a massive loss of points here either, maybe about 5 points or so for a cheap weapon and 15-20 for an expensive one. Of course I think the points awarded to all objects should be doubled from where they are at for this to balance out well.
