old Lockon player wanting to join a squad
Devilman replied to Kevlon's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I remember a good match we had vs the 504  i cant however take members from europe / uk due to time zone issues:cry: usa / canada or australia / new zealand only. -
your server pc is set to INTERNET host and is port forwarded. 10308 this is so it is publicly viewable you sim pit pc is set to LAN to play on your server on your local network this is how you see your game on your lan. (your sim pit is not internet connected to play via your own local ip) option 2 set your port forwarding for your SERVER to another port say 10310 ? or somthing else right.. and leave your SIM PIT port forwarded to 10308 (or vice versa) that way you can host on either PC depending on what you are doing ! ?

g'day to another tasmanian. -
welcome! i know what you mean about the dynamic campagin co-op, they are alot of fun, but require a heap of work to maintain!! here is the spash screen i used for my last set of missions to give you an tiny insight into one of those. i also like to ask the following questions you have anwered most of these already! Where you are from ? how old are you ? What time do you fly ? What sims do you fly ? what hotas do you use ? do you have Track IR with 6DOF ? do you have any special dietary requirements?
-
welcome, I known a lot of people over the years who retire and take up flying a simulator like A-10c. i hope you have a good time online and can find some like-minded people to fly with on a regular basis! i agree that that is definatly where the fun is!

why do you have the internal port set ? and 10308 - 10308 i have never needed to put 10309 i would also look in your firewall rules too.

Missile Dynamics - A discussion
Devilman replied to Teknetinium's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
i think i would take more from the item r-27te at 25mi. with the note's in the document stating some minor inacuracy's in translation, the assumption on the comparison of the 73 v 27-et would lead the conclusion is based on the seeker head. that said the assumption is also the case on the 27em ae er with different range items for most. the table data taken from a sukhoi book published in english 1996 -

I think what he is asking is for players to join his squadron ? what squadron ? i guess you may want to include that so people can check you out ?

hi jujuman, while the S77th does not take members who reside in Europe or UK (its a time zone thing nothing personal like the who has the ashes) you have come to the right place to ask the question. I dont really know the UK squads that well but i know the 74th is listed under the UK, with a strong focus on realism and the A-10c. there is a another group spare time pilots, see them on a fair bit.. i think they are mostly Europe. there is also DFA.. dont know them again, except the posts on these forums aside from that, im open to helping where i can no matter where you are from.. i hope i have been of some help!

this is something that i think has worked well for our squadron over the time we have been together, we have both a north american roster and australian roster. the guys are online from 8pm usest most nights, and aussies are on 8pm aussie time most nights but on friday and saturday (your time) it all comes together very nicely at 8pm usest as it is midday sat/sun in most aussie states..

looks like you have a good appetite. I have been fligh simming since before i could spell simulator. 1986/7 ? it was flight simulator ...the black n white version.. i do remember more vividly msfs 3.0 with its ega graphics.. we r running a practice game at the moment, however i have to bail to sit with my newphews.

welcome to the dark side. S77th is a ka-50 , a-10c and SU-33 squad. so you have 2/3 Where you are from ? how old are you ? What time do you fly ? What sims do you fly ? what hotas do you use ? do you have Track IR with 6DOF ? do you have any special dietary requirements?
-
hey mate, id be happy to help. there is definatly a way

ive sent you a pm

you have answered most of my 'standard questions' only one or 2 to go Where you are from ? how old are you ? What time do you fly ? What sims do you fly ? what hotas do you use ? do you have Track IR with 6DOF ? do you have any special dietary requirements? look forward to hearing from you.

you would need to find a brazilian squad i would think... the good news is i know there is heaps of them. im sure i have seen a server for one of the squadrons last weekend. i think most other squads would be ok with the no carbs in the everning.
-
I agree the squadrons thread is out dated, its very hard to work out what groups fly and when. that said I was recently last weekend hosting several training missions from A-10c / ka-50 and FC3 click on my signature to take you to our squadron page for more info about how we like to go about things. it helps to answer the following as well. Where you are from ? how old are you ? What time do you fly ? What sims do you fly ? what hotas do you use ? do you have Track IR with 6DOF ? do you have any special dietary requirements?

you did a really good job! I have some other pics i may PM you, so you can get good or better colour match

multiplayer client crash and cannot rejoin mission attached
Devilman replied to Devilman's topic in Bugs and Problems
yes the mission that i originaly picked up the error had A-10c, yes those clients crash to desktop. -
i would also say the answer could really depend on your level of interest. an example would be there are sim gamers out there whome have learned to play the game as is.. and there are sim gamers out there whome have learned to play the game as a sim and try to employ a realistic feel to it.. of course there are people who are in the middle. myself i would fit into the middle catagory. i like to sim but dont like to go overboard where it can become hard to others to ' easily join in' having said all that, im more than happy to help somebody out. this weekend im hosting at 8pm USEST a mission designed to be good enviroment to do training.
