  1. i think this could be a usefull add on and to add to your lists of items perhaps if they can add 'area 51' map then we can all battle an allien invasion or fight off giant robots like in terminator salvation or independance day +1 for your rep mate oh ya.. this is gold
  2. The S77th Squadron, recently finished a Campaign series and are starting a new Series of misions to be played most Saturday nights. This Campaign Series is using DCS-A-10c I would like to place 2 open spots for players who are thinking about joining a squadron, or would just simply like to fly a mission with some others for the day. you will need to be fairly confident in your ability to shoot stuff, AGM-65 / guns and guided weapons and also enter co-ordiantes, use awacs infomation. if you cant do these things, please register on www.S77th.com the link for registration is under the 'enlistment' page so you can organise a time with one of our members so we can teach you for future missions. to register your interest in flying this mission please post a message here and register yourself on our forum. www.S77th.com (link for registration is under 'enlistment' page) if you are from the USA CANADA NEWZEALAND or AUSTRALIA and not in a squadron, we would like to hear from you  Time Zone assistance: Saturday night USA EST 8pm USA CENTRAL 7pm USA MOUNTAIN 6pm USA PACIFIC 5pm SUNDAY New Zealand 12pm Australia EST 10am Australia S.A 9.30am Australia W.A. 8am
  3. i think from memory STP spare time pilots have finnish members ? i could be wrong tho:( hope that helps S77th only takes members from Australia New Zealand USA & Canada
  4. hey mate, been hosting an aussie server mostly on weekends and around wife's bit torrenting! http://s77th.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=22 its often open to all, IP's logged continualy and ip banlist is enforced.
  5. that would be under S77th-Australia or S77th Aussie server it will be open on the weekend.
  6. hey its good to see more kiwi's flying..:pilotfly: yes the 'aussie' server is up alot over the weekends server is located in Tazmania, the other hosts are in melbourne and sydney. thanks pred, kiwi, shu, for replying, hopefully we will see you flying sometime on sunday at 12pm nz time
  7. hi mate, My squad mates braught this to my attention , i was thinking about it perhaps you could contact maybe the FC2 competition ladder and see if they will take the items as 'prizes' for a tournament
  8. we were thinking of having a Black shark/ fc2 day one day soon just to shake the rust off the jets but like most people we are all getting into dcs-a-10
  9. g'day fella's there is definatly lots of different squadrons out there. get on and fly with a few and see how it all fits together. each group is very different. i think the most inportant things is finding a squad that suits you the most. The Savage 77th have been around for a very long time. we have 1 day a week where we organise a mission, raid or training that is on USA 8pm Saturday's (australian time sunday 10am) im hoping to meet some more American & Canadian friends with this sim. your welcome to PM me for teamspeak address and password
  10. hey good luck finding a squadron hopefully you will find one that flys all of your favourite sims make sure you consider things like the timezone of the squadron when they mostly fly etc. it can be hard to find one that suites your flying time , i find its often a good idea to jump online and see who is flying then contact that group if they are on. good luck in your search and welcome to dcs
  11. definatly check out the multiplayer forum, lots of squads post their ad (also some dont). join a few squad teamspeaks and have a chat with their members look at their websites play a few missions.. i think one of the most important thing is finding a squad that suits you. lots of squads will say they are lots of things, but look a bit deeper often they are not!
  12. good to have you in the community, hope to see you in the air and try out some of the missions you place up.
  13. Ready or not, others may still enjoy it the way it was. they may even add to it or adapt to it.. good on ya mateeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. thanks kon, had both our servers up today left my one open on a 'target practice' mission pershaps those who are not so good and '''''''spoil'''''' other peoples mission my get some practice in so that maybe one day they may be elite enough to join a group. S77th will be hosting a mission at 8pm US EST Saturday night (Midday Sunday Australian Eastern Daylight time, 11am in QLD if your flight gear wasnt washed away) , those who want to come along and have a fly, any skill level .. most welcome too. Ive been flying flight sims online offline etc for the last 23 years Ive made many missions, played against many squads, pissed off a few people, and traveled to other countries to meet some others ive flown with. I just think this is Silly. DCS A-10 is what you make of it. if a mission is made to be played as a co-op with the complexity as such that it requires it to be played by only those who are in that squad on teamspeak or ventrillo.. then thats how it should be played. If a mission is made so that you can jump in, not read breifing follow your waypoints and shoot stuff. then thats how it should be played. if your mission is SOOO good that others copy it then you should pat yourself on the back that you have inspired/provided this enjoyment to others. if you get undesired persons in your server, boot em. they keep it up ban em if they are cheating ban em. quoting EULA, seriously thats just silly.. the point of this being, there are many ways to fly this game. fly it your way.
  15. when i remember i often put up a server open to all when im not using the pc, For us at the S77th, we dont mind letting people have a bit of a play, learn the systems etc im still learning it all myself after all.. its good to see locked servers with people in them cause it means they are runing a co-op or something.. but its also nice to play with others. :joystick::pilotfly: had some good flights with some random people over the last few months so i hope to see some more public servers soon

  17. i hate that silly dialog got me the first time too!!
  18. not sure if the team are aware but i have been a recipient of a email stating it is from activation.lockon.ru perhaps ED should place a small warning notice about such email notices.
  19. i pretty sure i found a setting of such a nature in fc1 but have not poked around enough on fc2/bs/dcs i too want to turn it off as i dont use it.. (i dont need to re watch A-10's flying and tanks exploding since i dream about it all the time) :pilotfly:
  20. i remember cause i was looking at buying the kuznetsov model myself but never did..
  21. you still doing the spray painting of model planes ? or did you finish them up ?
  22. hi storm i remember u but not from lomac 1. 00 much later 169 didnt run server w/o extnals until 1.02
  23. at the moment its very hard to justify to the finance department (the wife) that a game i already have baught is no longer valid and i needed to buy it again.:furious:
  24. it would be better to say allow limited time useage key until CD arives or is sent and have a 'pre-order' fyi i have purchases lock on series of games multipul times over multipul computers and also on the upgraded pcs, in addition i have run out of activations after a fatal error with a transportation of a computer interstate
  25. the I key is not a short cut in windows 7 for anything thing i dont think but what keys are u using for the target box the way the game communiates with the cpu's could be something to do with things but you never know.
