Sicuramente non bisogna portare fretta ma è anche vero che il tempo di attesa per avere il nuovo meteo è stato estremamente lungo. Spero che il 7 aprile sia la data definitiva e non ci siano ulteriori slittamenti, d’altra parte non possiamo neanche pretendere che l’ultima patch sia priva di errori. In passato si sono sempre susseguiti fix alla data di rilascio per correggerla.

NATO has decided to intervene as soon as possible to farm these armed groups, deploying military troops on the territory in order to counter the advance of the terrorists. The tension is very high, the aircraft carrier USS Roosevelt is sailing in the Gulf waters to intervene by providing support for air raids. Note: I released the first episode of the mission and made the necessary and suggested changes. Please note that I use modules like Persian Gulf, Syria, F-18C and Carrier. I don't know if that could be a common problem, I'm editing a mission with F-18 but I'm experiencing a series of crashes when using the mission editor. In particular, it happened to me when I use the zoom on the Gulf map.

I too was asking myself the same question ... the F-18 is almost finished and we still have an inappropriate pilot model. In addition to having a navy suit, it would be nice to have the option to lower and raise the helmet visor, see the NVGs when put on. I don't think it's a priority for ED at the moment, but I'm sure if the module was being developed by third parties by now the new pilot module was already there.

I can't get the troops to board the helicopter. Yet I set all the parameters to get them on board. Unfortunately, as soon as the helicopter lands, the infantry units move but only one soldier enters the helicopter while the others stop. Where am I doing wrong?

Alla fine ho preso il 21:9 della Samsung, devo dire che è un gran bel monitor e DCS mi sembra completamente diverso. Non ho avuto nessun calo prestazionale, ho tutti i settaggi al massimo e faccio 50 FPS in MP.

Hi everyone, I would be about to buy a monitor to be used mainly for gaming and mainly for the DCS simulator. In particular, I have limited my choice on these two specific models, but I am undecided which of the two to buy: - the first model is the 32-inch Samsung G7, 2560x1440p, FreeSync and G-Sync compatible, 16 :; - the second model is the 34-inch Samsung C34J791, 3440x144op, FreeSync compatible, 21: 9; I currently have an Asus Strix 1080 video card and I am using it on a provisional 4K monitor, with gaming resolution in DCS at 2560x1440, with all settings maxed out with an average of 50/60 FPS. In your experience, which of the two monitors in comparison would you buy? Write your opinion. I thank those who will dedicate their time to help me in the choice.

I opened a support ticket and in less than 24 hours they solved the problem by viewing the dcs.log file. Basically, I had enabled the option "run as administrator" on the DCS launch icon. Disabled this option now everything works as before and the simulator closes normally in a short time. Thanks to the ED technical team, really smart

I open this new thread to represent a problem I have been experiencing in the last few days. After starting the simulator and taking a flight, when I close it again it takes an extremely long time to return to the Windows desktop. The simulator is installed on a recently purchased Samsung 860Evo SSD. I tried to follow the tips for cleaning and repairing but unfortunately it didn't work. With another forum user, whom I thank for taking the time, through the dcs.log file, we found that it takes 49 seconds to close the DCS application. While shutting down DCS, when it displays a black screen before returning to the Windows desktop, I took a picture and noticed that it consumes different memory ... is this normal? Has anyone had the same problem? I appeal to DCS technicians to solve the problem and maybe get advice for a solution to the problem. Thanks to those who will intervene. dcs.log

Thanks to you for your support. I understand seeing in the list that you entered the seconds it takes my system to close DCS. Believe me it's a real hassle! I started the .bat files for cleaning and repair but unfortunately I have not solved the problem and when I exit the simulator it still takes a long time to close permanently. During this closing phase I photographed the task manager and I saw that a certain amount of memory is also used. I am attaching the photo. The HDD on which DCS is installed is a newly purchased 1TB Samsung 860EVO model SSD. At this point, I also appeal to the DCS technicians to understand the problem. Yes I know, I thought you were referring to external antivirus. However, I followed your advice and created the exclusion of the DCS folder.

I have no antivirus, only windows defender at the moment. This situation is very strange and I don't think it's an extreme case, because I don't have a low-end PC. In the last period I have also had the same problem ... have you found a solution? I also have a dedicated SSD for DCS only, after installing the modules, I launched the application but loading is very slow. Even when exiting the program it takes a long time to return to the desktop showing a black screen. Has anyone by any chance solved it somehow?
