I would like to know if the development team is working further to improve the explosion VFX and ground damage of bombs. The graphic effect present is not bad, but I think it is a bit standard for all the devices available. The damage and smoke that an MK-82 causes is different than an MK-83 or a GBU-10. I noticed that in some light conditions the reflection of sunlight on the dome is very high and you can't see anything. As realistic as it may be as an effect, I think the intensity is excessive. Can anything be done?

I open this discussion following unfortunately the breakage of my NaturalPoint TrackIR 5, after 12 years of honorable service. Evaluating a valid and above all cheaper alternative these days, on the advice of some flight companions I decided to try AITrack in combination with Opentrack, the latter certainly more known. Unlike Opentrack which requires a modified camera (webcam) without IR filters, AItrack can also be used on a normal webcam. By linking the two open source software, AITrack is able to trace the points of the face and replicate the movements of the head. Immediately after installing and configuring it, I must say that it's not bad and if set properly it is absolutely like a TrackIR. The only difficulty I encountered in using this system which is certainly much cheaper is the "setting" of the curves on the various axes and you have to lose some time. Who here on this forum already uses AITrack? Have you already tested some DCS profiles regarding the curves to set?

Apro questa discussione a seguito purtroppo della rottura del mio TrackIR 5 della NaturalPoint, dopo 12 anni onorato servizio. Valutando proprio in questi giorni una valida alternativa e soprattutto più econimica, su consiglio di alcuni compagni di volo mi sono deciso a provare AITrack in abbinamento a Opentrack, quest'ultimo sicuramente più conosciuto. A differenza di Opentrack che richiede una telecamera (webcam) modifica priva di filtri IR, AItrack può essere utilizzato anche su una normalissima webcam. Collegando tra loro i due softaware opernsource, AITrack riesce a tracciare i punti del viso e replicare i movimenti della testa. Subito dopo averlo installato e configurato, devo dire che non è niente male e se settato adeguatamente è assolutamente al pari di un TrackIR. Unica difficoltà che ho riscontrato nell'utilizzo di questo sistema sicuramente molto più economico è il "settaggio" delle curve sui vari assi e bisogna perderci un po di tempo. Chi di voi su questo forum già utilizza AITrack? Avete già testato qualche profilo per DCS in merito alle curve da settare?

Ho contattato l'assistenza clienti e ho provato il mio dispositivo anche su altri due PC. Dopo 12 anni di onorato servizio, mi ha lasciato. Purtroppo non è possibile conoscerne la causa ma la telecamera TrackIR è ovviamente guasta. Fuori garanzia ovviamente, devo solo trovare una valida alternativa.

Infatti sarebbe bello capire se è effettivamente un problema software (ma a questo punto tutti dovrebbero avere lo stesso problema) avuto a seguito di un aggiornamento anche di Winzoz. E' vero che il dispositivo lo avevo acquistato più di 10 anni fa e ha fatto egreggiamente il suo dovere, però non aveva alcun motivo per rompersi da solo. Unica responsabilità che attribuisco al produttore è che non tengono costantemente aggiornato il software e i driver, nel corso di questi anni ci sono stati parecchi aggiornamenti di Windows. Altra cosa che ho notato è che quando il software del TrackIr viene avviato parte anche GeForceexperience e non vorrei che quello effettivamente crea qualche casino.

Sono più di due giorni che cerco di capire se sia un problema hardware oppure software ma non è semplice stabilirlo. Sul forum ufficiale della NaturalPoint qualcuno ha semplicemente risolto facendo un rollback dei driver video NVIDIA. Ovviamente ho seguito il consiglio, ma nonostante tutto ugualmente non ha funzionato. Il mio dispostivo ha smesso di funzionare improvvisamente, quando è collegato all'USB è perfettamente alimentato ma purtroppo non riceve segnale dal TrackClip Pro (quindi di conseguenza assenza di led verdi accesi) e nemmeno dal TrackClip standard. La cosa veramente strana è che dopo averlo accesso non riceve alcun segnale, poi improvvisamente per qualche secondo si attiva e si vede accendere il led laterale verde (segnale che si è collegato al TrackClip) ma funziona a scatti fino a fermarsi nuovamente. Ultima cosa che ho fatto stasera è stata quella di contattare l'assistenza che mi ha risposto quasi subito chiedendomi di disinstallare il software e i driver del TrackIR cancellando anche la cartella in Appdata. Ma nonostante tutto ancora non ha funzionato. Vediamo domani cosa mi consigliano di fare poi magari appena ho possibilità testerò il dispositivo su un altro pc per vedere cosa succede. Al di la che nella stanza in cui mi trovo non ho altre interferenze, altrimenti lo farebbe da sempre, quando mi sono comparse macchie o puntini rossi mi è sempre bastato disconnettere la porta usb e attaccarla nuovamente, magicamente tornava a funzionare.

Hi guys i have the same problem too. Suddenly my Track-ir 5 stopped working. Started the software, the device does not receive any signal from the trackclip pro and not even from the base with the three reflective panels. Good afternoon everyone, I would like to submit the problem to those who own this device like me. Bought at the uni years ago it has always done its duty using together with a TrackClip that is installed on the headphones. Yesterday afternoon I realized that something was wrong, it was starting to freeze and opening the supplied software I was able to notice some red spots in correspondence with the box where the three green LEDs of the TrackClip are projected. I've been thinking about possible interference but I haven't moved my monitor location recently. As soon as I start the software it seems to work, I can replicate all the movements of the head, then suddenly it freezes as if it is no longer receiving a signal. I have already tried to uninstall everything by doing a thorough cleaning of the Windows 10 registry and also deleting the profiles folder in Appdata. I recently only updated the Nvidia video card drivers. I've been trying since yesterday but there's no way to make it work, has anyone had the same thing happen? Advice? Buon pomeriggio a tutti, vorrei sottoporre il problema a chi come me possiede questo dispositivo. Comprato al uni anni fa ha sempre fatto il suo dovere utilizzando insieme ad un TrackClip che si installa sulle cuffie. Ieri pomeriggio mi sono accorto che qualcosa non andava, iniziava a bloccarsi e aprendo il software in dotazione ho potuto notare delle macchie rosse in corrispondenza del riquadro dove vengono proiettati i tre led verdi del TrackClip. Ho pensato ad una possibile interferenza ma non ho cambiato posizione del mio monitor di recente. Appena avvio il software sembra funzionare, riesco a replicare tutti i movimenti del capo, poi improvvisamente si blocca come se non ricevesse più segnale. Ho già provato a disinstallare tutto facendo una pulizia accura del registro di Windows 10 e cancellandolo anche la cartella dei profili in Appdata. Di recente ho aggiornato solo i driver della scheda video Nvidia. Da ieri che provo ma non c'è verso di farlo funzionare, a qualcuno è accaduta la stessa cosa? Consigli?
