IIRC they use HEDP for their ammo. No idea why this is, but I'd guess it has something to do with their slow speed and lower impact mass (M230 uses 30x113 as opposed to the GAU-8A's 30x173).

What do you expect when seeking design cooperation from both Boeing AND LHM? Plus the idea was to build a medium range front line fighter to replace the KF-16, but with higher stealth capabilities that slightly surpass the EF-2000. The idea was not to build a super expensive F-35 or F-22A type project, but instead a low cost replacement for current fighters. This would probably explain the lack of internal stores.

It happens, they can also stack in certain situations. It is very weird, but is a known problem.

That FC3 has a campaign with actually well thought out missions. I mean, they seriously look good if all of them are going to be like the one in AV8R's AAR.

AFAIK, Kuky wasn't complaining. he was saying that while it is regrettable that less attention was paid to the models of the Russian aircraft, FC3 as a whole is still worth the money.

I just noticed a small bug while flying the A-10C. It appears that when the AGM-65's are aligning, if you switch from the MAV page to the TGP page on the same MFCD (with TGP on and equipped), you will see an image from the mav seeker for a split second before it switches to the TGP.

I didn't say abandoned. I just said that this is likely the last time we will see an FCx release. Maybe under another name, yes, possibly we might see another release of updated aircraft, visually, or systems wise, or both, or new A/C altogether. Also remember that FC is not a licensed addon to LOMAC. It is a paid for mod for LOMAC that just happens to be made by the same people who developed the original game. Something of an unofficial, official expansion.

It will probably be a mix of A-A and A-G weapons, though I doubt that every single missile will get an AFM, much the same way that JDAMs never received an AFM in DCS while the other bombs got them. 1. Yes, although it was developed specifically for FC3, you will receive the upgrades in World as a patch, for free. 2. The server does not have to own FC3 for AFM missiles. The missile upgrade will come in a patch to the world structure, free of charge, when FC3 comes out. Unknown if the Ka-50 will receive AFM missiles, but at this point it seems likely that at least some of them will get the treatment (e.g. probably for the Vikhrs, but probably not for things like the Kh-25ML (though this is a Su-25T weapon also, so it is possible)). 3. You still get the World specific upgrades that FC3 promised, and will still be able to put FC3 planes in the mission, but only people who own FC3 will be able to fly them around. Doubtful. From the looks of it, peoples' patience is wearing thin for this franchise, and from where I stand, plus seeing ED's and TFC's opinions on the matter, I can safely say that this is probably the end of the road for the FC series as far as new products goes. needless to say though, it will benefit from continued updates to the World structure.
