  2. are these NEW objects or are they replacing existing models that will mess with other missions? What happens if someone plays a mission without these models installed but the server miz does?
  3. i think you can use your F11 view to move the camera around via mouse / mouse wheel. Is this what you are thinking of?
  4. This is on top of the attack in Quebec yesterday where two soldiers were ran down by vehicle driven by a known fanatic our government barred travel abroad on. I'll bet this was coordinated - i just hope we find every single one responsible and publicize where and how such action was motivated or even passively encouraged. The silence is deafening in terms of the condemnation of the attacks from the cultural communities involved. Hope things play out better this afternoon for you kontiuka... what does that name-handle mean anyway???

  6. I'd like to propose that we create a subforum under mods to house new map objects. I am seeing some really neat objects being created from hescos through cargo edm for huey... the problem is they are very hard to search for/ discover in the forums. With a proper subforum, they could reside in a single place and updates/ new entries could be easily tracked by the community What say you?
  7. Can anyone confirm if the KGMU 12 PTM-1 1.6 kg anti-tank mines, or 156 PFM-1C 80 g high explosive mines, have been modelled in BS2? Is there any known reference on how these are supposed to be deployed IRL? I'd like to see if they can be used to enhance gameplay vs. the CA crowd. Cheers,

  14. Does anyone have a working miz example where GCI (preferably) or AWACS is working in multiplayer? I am trying to bring some control intercept in for players of p51 and fw190 without luck. AWACS is either unresponsive or does not show in the radio list. effective control intercept would help me limit the flak used in missions.
  15. hey xcom - would you mind if i used this script in a DoW mission? i'd like to expand it but dont understand why you are using a script to place the units... could i use the ME for ground unit placement and still use lua predicate to check for group names therefore eliminating lines 1-1657 of the script?

  18. hey xcom - great vid... sorry i missed it. To answer your questions about flak and repair. In the mission, I am using the latest flak script from Stonehouse/Sith etc. the script allows us to set a number of flak guns thus only a certain amount of airframes can be targeted at any given time... i.e. your buddy might get shot at and you might not. Also - the flak will target both sides until an airfield is captured... then it will only target your enemy. this might account for the variance you are noting with the flak targeting. As for repair - i noted you landed at Senaki at the end of your video before the airfield had been captured ... ergo it was still neutral and will not repair. Looks like a fun MP session though. hope to catch you next time. S!
  19. Hey guys - hoping you can help a driver noob out with this as I am very interested in the performance gains. Currently i am running a HD 6970 on my rig with 14.4 as the driver st. Auto detection via AMD suggests this is the proper driver for my card. I note; however, that the AMD OpenCL 2.0 driver does not list the HD 6000 series as supported. Additionally, I understand there is a guru3D post suggesting the OpenCL 2.0 has been modified for *most* cards. Does this include the HD6000 series? Should I wait for OpenCL 2.0 to go WHQL and see if it will support HD 6000 series cards? i am trying to ascertain if I should download the guru3D version, inject atiumd64.dll and give it a try or if the pending release will just accommodate my rig with the discussed performance gains. Thanks for any help.

  23. cant you use a flag funtion to set a random value for the flagX between 0-Y where Y=number of missions you want to randomize. On mission end, activate flagX. If flag value=Y1 load mission 1 depending on flag vlaue.
