  1. I got it through Canadian iTunes .. At least I thought I did
  2. thats your low rpm warning.... i think you are using too much collective as you climb up the face of elbrus... get more forward airspeed and go gentle on collective.
  3. as a reference point, i created a template mission with Ajax's awacs script and the autonomous CAP/GCI script. The AWACS script has no problem "Seeing" client or ME placed AI. Unfortuantely, the AWACS script is incapable of seeing the dynamically added flights that are a focus and product of the GCI script. Powderkeg1.miz
  4. +1 me too... i just finished a beach assault mission for the Dogs of War server that is ready to go live but the speedboats are not visible as the head toward shore.. the mission "sees" them hit the beach zone and deploy troops but the clients cannot. Sorry for the resurected thread but this is still a problem. Cheers,
  5. Stonehouse made the flak script - but i do see where you are join with that recommendation - maybe a mix might be better?
  6. Yeah the flak use is an unfortunate side effect of limited visibility - that said, there are gaps to be aware of that can be exploited for a predatory advantage ... We sincerely need feedback on flak use... I have scenarios with much less flak in the hopper but they will fail if no one logs in to play them :)
  7. I say its always good to have more!! S! To ACG and let's continue to buil dcs wwii community!
  8. Sounds like we need some English documentation to help float this up
  9. Why use target at all? Especially with a10 and it's click pit? I have warthog too and never touched target... There are PLENTY of options once I mapped my paddle as a shift to cover all dcs modules
  10. ok - for everyone's reference... the script was made by Ajax and it is available at the 159th public forums
  11. i think i recall something about the unit name changing when they are dropped ... therefore any triggers you have assigned to that group or unit name will not work... try doing a forum search for something to that effect.
  12. i see it in the DCS Domination mission and S77th Sukhumi vs Nalchik missions... I'd suggest you have a peek at those as I am hesitant to post a script without the authors permission. I looked at it there through the track file but there is very little documentation on how to set it up. It would be great for a larger map WWII prop mission though. I am hoping to reduce my dependency on flak scripts by using a combo of the GCI intercept script with the AWACS script to simulate wartime ground based radar vectoring. I can then save flak for target areas only.
  13. Hey all, I have seen this script in use on the S77th server as well as the DCS Domination miz. I would like to utilize this for a WWII mission but do not know whom the author is to ask for permission. Does anyone recognize this script and know the author? S!
  14. yes - these are really well done Dojo... i appreciate the hard work and hope the community understands what goes into this. I only worry that your schedule of releases is aggressive... 1 a week is going to play you out!
  15. i dont seem to have left/right wheel brake mappings available like i received with the f15c update... is this pending?
  16. i haven't looked at the shared missions but i would presume you could create a moving zone and attach it to the jeep unit. The jeep Group AI would trigger ON when your AC hits ramp / spawns is etc. Then it would follow waypoints. and once your AC enters the moving zone, it would command you to follow it. if you fall behind (out of moving zone) then it will scold you and stop (GROUP AI off) ... using a switched condition it should continue its waypoints once you enter the moving zone again.
  17. Frog of war is April 1st... Spring season.
  18. i made the frog of war mission - no mods. i wonder if you are onto something with the seasons? maybe he's missing a specific season tile set?
  19. Hey all, Recent incidents has had me wondering if the mission building community should come together and create a VERY BASIC "public use charter". I am envisioning it as something that had some very simple principles about attribution and use values that we would all try to adhere to when making public missions. It would also serve as a humble reminder to the community whom draw upon missions. I am sure we all agree we want folks just to have fun but something like this may help mitigate uncomfortable situations in the future just a bit too... How we could ever come into agreement on such an effort is beyond me at the moment but it might be worth an open discussion. Thoughts? Do you think an approach such as this would be excessive? I'd just hate to see great efforts begin to be password protected. I am thinking something along the lines of: AS A .MIZ USER I WILL: 1. Reference the ED forums or DCS User files as my first resource for community made missions. 2. Ask for permission to present missions to the public if they are not currently available in #1. 3. Provide clear attribution of authorship where permission is granted. 4. Not modify, rename or claim authorship of community made missions without consent. AS A .MIZ AUTHOR I WILL: 1.
