  1. How did you get those coordinates ?
  2. Well I expected this map for a long time because there are a lot of possible historical and hypothetic campaigns possible. But there are few problems to make campaigns on this map for me : This area of the world is a highly militarized one and it will need a lot of ground units and expecially SAMS to simulate this fact... I'm not sure that our computers will be able to handle this with the actual DCE system ... Historical campaigns will need ground movements too even if few campaigns can be attrition wars that DCE can simulate quite well but with high density defenses and targets like I said before ... We are working on possible systems to simulate frontline and units moves without killing FPS but our first solution is not possible with big scale war. I will soon propose a small scale Cyprus campaign with few units moves and a kind of moving frontline but it seems to be really too difficult to handle as a campaign creator : too much scripts to activate templates with too much conditions. We think it's not the solution and are exploring other possibilities ... I hope someone else will soon propose some campaigns on this beautiful map
  3. A dedicated server, even in SP, could be a solution for VR. An older PC is good enough or even on the same PC it's better than nothing ... my two cents
  4. AV-8 BNA Harrier LHA TARAWA taking off bug corrected ! It can take off with full load now
  5. Well the main problem is to know if DCE will still be playable to medium config players and how Mbot's SEAD script will handle it ? Mbot's script is made to avoid first day SAM destruction with one shot/one kill Harm weapon ! SEAD missions per definition are made to supress SAMs while striking a near target... To destroy them you need to do a DEAD mission and DCE generates such missions logically in first days of the campaign. Is Skynet able to avoid easy destruction like Mbot Script ?
  6. Well I’m working on a small campagne on Cyprus ! I will use for the first time our template system to move static units … It will be for Hind Gazelle Huey, Falcon M-2000C and may be Hercules from Anubis …
  7. DCE Seems to work well but we have a problem with DCS AV-8 Harrier IAs which try to make vertical take off on LHA Tarawa They are too heavy for that ! Waiting for an ED update soon I hope !
  8. Hum... what is still working ?
  9. Well this is really an old tutorial : https://www.dropbox.com/s/masv61iexlfirp7/Guide DCE-v1.pdf?dl=0 Many things changed but maybe looking a new campaign you should be able to find useful things in this tutorial ... I will have to update it one day
  10. Well not really ... there are lot of tips in this forum and one old tutorial in french but not an english one sorry Tips for DCE_Manager installation and use for French : I really want to detail the use of each file in the Init folder but time is missing ...
  11. It's a know bug reported to Razbam : You can try 3rd solution maybe ...
  12. To change that quickly you can find the db_loadouts.lua file in the Init folder and change Su-17 minscore = 0.3 on every loads to minscore = 0.1, You should find them in the sky again !

  14. Yes you upload the mission in Combatflite then you will be able to see all your side flightplans or generate screens to put in your kneeboard with detailed flightplan if you like it (not sure it's a good idea to save this in the original DCE mission but you can put the file in the kneeboard folder of your plane ...
  15. You mean to generate missions ? No it’s a completely different tool but it’s really useful to prepare missions with kneeboard options quite interesting [emoji12] Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  16. Do you know this : Very useful to prepare missions
  17. More generally DCE is not a campaign in which you must "win" every missions. You are part of a global war and will try to survive, destroy as many enemy targets/planes as possible and try to avoid losses on your side If a mission bugs on the deck you can refuse the result and generate a new mission using the safe option (D). If it's the first mission use "Start campaign" on DCE Manager or "skipmission" for all others ...
  18. At the end of the mission when you quit (there's no failed or win missions in DCE : you win when you come alive to home ) you will have the choice to accept or not the mission results : I use it mainly when there were a bug in my system but you can use it if you are not happy with your mission management for example : you will then be able to replay the mission ! If you are satisfied by your mission (or want to play on a realistic way) you accept the result and you will generate a new mission.
  19. One other problem occurs when you play the first mission on the server and at the end you don't upload the new ongoing mission file on this server and don't delete first mission file and stop playing : next time you will launch the server it will launch automatically the last played mission (first) so if you stop it even if you refuse the end result of the mission DCE will erase the first mission played result and all target and kills will be like at the beginning of the campaign ... The solution is to Load the ongoing mission file after playing the firstmission and erase the firstmission before closing the server. Of course if you play the ongoing mission on the same session of the server without shuting it down all will be fine and there's no bug with ongoing mission if you stop the server ...
  20. I would definitely recommend light version if you have FPS problems in VR Pure MP mission generation removed all IA deck movements except for your wingmen to avoid bugs. SP generation should be as cool as normal version (but with less FPS in VR) we made (Miguel21 in fact) 2 versions for dedicated server mission generation because off bugs with IA on the CVN deck. It’s not always but it happens and it can be really frustrating when you take time to prepare a mission and you must cancel it because of stuck IAs So you can try the dedicated normal version with full IA on deck but we can’t assure it will always work nice sorry :(
  21. I made light version of Crisis to help users to have better FPS : less ground and air units. For VR my best experience is to use a dedicated server ! I’m not really good with server things but I was able to use my old laptop to run a dedicated server and use it to play in SP : Miguel made a special generation mod for SP with dedicated server : I was able to add 10 FPS to my initial FPS… There are still few bugs with Hornet Harpoon attacks in Crisis but if you lead anti ship attacks yourself you should be able to avoid mountains ;)
  22. Sorry if that questions had been asked before (can't find it ) I'm looking for a way to give Jester complex orders with only one button press. This can be really useful for orders like fuel tank jettisonning : - A for menu appearance - A for second menu appearance - 4 for air to ground ordinance select - 7 for select weapon pylon - 2 for select the good pylon then - A again for menu appearance - A for second menu - 4 for air to ground ordinance select - 6 for jettison select ordinance Ouf !!! Not really easy when I must enter in a dogfight ! Sequence doesn't work for that it seems because it needs multiple button push...
  23. Campaign updated (v5.6) or simply put files missing Miguel provided or find them in Iran Iraq war Tomcat or Tiger Campaign's Images folder
  24. Do you have a tacview track ? What squadron was scheduled to escort your package ?
  25. Hot War in the Cold Hind Roll's Campaign is available The link is on the first post. This is a really challenging campaign because targets are not really easy to find and enemy fighters are often trying to shoot you down. Use CAP cover command (F10/F2) and Petrovich eyes if you play in SP
