My bad ... you will need to use the new UTIL_db_loadout.lua file I fixed today : I changed the file above but to be sure : I put it there too (version 1.3.148) replace "UTIL_db_loadouts.lua" file that you will find here : "X:\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech\DCE\ScriptsMod.NG" by this file UTIL_db_loadouts.lua

Argh ... sorry I forget to adapt Loadout for Crisis. The solution is to replace "UTIL_db_loadouts.lua" file that you will find here : "X:\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech\DCE\ScriptsMod.NG" by this file : The new Scriptmod.NG with the good file is uploaded in User Files UTIL_db_loadouts.lua

Sorry to read that Mbot You made a lot to DCS for me because without your DCE I think I wouldn’t have fly regularly and buy so many modules ! DCE is for me the best engine to fly in a realistic environment. With my friend Miguel21 we tried to develop MP for DCE and our group GC22 really like to fly such interesting missions But I understand that it can be really disappointing to see AI never doing what we are asking them to do or changing after some updates … it needs so many tests sometimes Thanks again for all your work We will try to maintain DCE spirit as long as possible waiting for an hypothetical dynamic campaign system from ED

Be careful : AI F-15ESE are not able to launch guided weapons It's a known DCS bug. I hope it will be corrected soon

Well you should find a first set of loadouts in the last scriptmod released by Miguel21 (with the last Manager) it’s mainly with laser guided weapons … If you want to make a new loadout you can use a local db_loadout… with the good tag in conf file. I’m on hollidays now so I can’t give you more precise help but you should find help in my last pdf somewhere in this forum…

I thought that using MT would be sufficient to stop using a server to play my heavy DCE campaigns but… …as I was testing my new War over Beirut campaign I discovered that playing in solo with the new F-15E was awful I had 7 to 10 FPS in VR. I decided to test this campaign firstly with Hornet on a server on my old laptop… I used the D option : same as solo play but on a server … Well it was quite impressive : in MT I was between 50 and 60 FPS !!! After that I tested with F-15E and it’s was still playable with 30 FPS ! So I was not sure but now I can say that using a server is really a good way to run heavy missions

Hello, it's a very nice tool and it works very well with Apache and Falcon but I'm not able to transfer my waypoints in the Hornet : I'm in Precise mod with coordinates in 00:00:0000 mod an not in TAC 3 menu but it doesnt seem to enter values ... Does it need to have default key bindings to work or it's not a problem ? I'm pretty sure I changed it long time ago -
Well you will have to find the SA-10 SAM group you want to replace in the targetlist file and on the base_mission map. Then you rename the SA-10 group with SA-2 for example. Delate the SA-10 group on the map in base_mission file and put a SA-2 group instead... the most important thing is that the name in targetlist is exactly the same as on the map in base_mission file so for example this group : ["204 SA-10 Site B-1"] = { task = "Strike", priority = 12, attributes = {"SAM"}, firepower = { min = 2, max = 8, }, class = "vehicle", name = "204 SA-10 Site B-1", }, Will be changed like this in the targetlist : ["204 SA-2 Site B-1"] = { task = "Strike", priority = 12, attributes = {"SAM"}, firepower = { min = 2, max = 8, }, class = "vehicle", name = "204 SA-2 Site B-1", }, You can do this for all kind of SAMs...

Thank You ! As I wrote above Cyprus incident is not really the typical DCE campaign for me It's more an experimentation of what could be done with templates ... It was not really conclusive because it needed to much scripts and a sole bug could stop everything I liked the possibility to study different options but I will not insist with this system... We will try to find a more automatic and logical static units movements between each missions... but it will come later : our main goal now is to improve DCE_Manager to make it more user friendly and may be the only interface to play with DCE

Well this campaign was my first (and sole ) try to use extensively templates and scripts to simulate columns and frontline advances with static units !!! It was really not so simple I thought initially and if you look in camp_triggers_init.lua file you will see its rather complex ! Here was my "simple" war story and options (initialy made for an Hind campaign) : 1-North Cyprus attack south Cyprus with weak forces ... a - North Cyprus are stopped so Turkish help them so Greekcome to the rescue ! b - North Cyprus encircled Nicosia so Hind must leave their base = Greeks help South Cyprus so Turkish help North Cyprus ! Sometimes scripts are not working very well and so all the story can bug For the Cobras it's strange ... maybe helicopters are not working like planes with airports We will investigate !

War over Tchad 1987 campaign update with new Mirage F-1EE : Changes in V4.9 - New Mirage F-1EE replacing Mirage F-1CE - C-135FR added to support CAP - Old F-1CE still available if you make one manual change with Notepad ++ : * In DCE_Manager left click on the main campaign title : War over Tchad 1987-Blue (with the green cross to the left) * This will open the main campaign folder : select the Init folder then open the oob_air_init.lua with Notepad ++ * Just under the first squadron : name = "2-12 Cornouaille", on the line : inactive = true, change true to false then save and quit * Clone the campaign (green cross) selecting the Mirage F-1CE squadron * The Mirage F-1EE and the Tanker squadron should be inactive for this cloned campaign * If you want to use again Mirage F-1EE just put back "true". https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/fr/files/3327817/

I made some tests and I can confirm that in MP game only one target picture can be seen in briefing which is a DCE bug It seems thjat all the different briefings are visible but only the main aircraft campaign picture is displayed ... we will have to take a look at this (hum... Miguel21 mainly ). I'm not sure blue and red brieifing are working very well because we never played PvP with DCE so we will have to test it ... or YOU can tell us if it works as it should ?

New campaign released ! This campaign is purposely scaled down to allow more fluidity in the game and leave in place "live" units that can defend and move. The campaign succinctly retraces the fighting between France and Libya in Chad around 1987. The distances on the map are not realistic but it allows you to keep missions sufficiently animated by avoiding long navigations... https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/fr/files/3327817/ This campaign uses Dimitriov's excellent FrenchPack (Currently V4.9.1 available here: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/257437-frenchpack-v491-update-on-27042022/ ) Don't forget to copy paste the corrected "Frenchpack_ERC90.lua" file that I provide in the main Frenchpack folder after its installation because there is a small bug line 161... The pilotable devices are for the moment the Gazelle and the Mirage F-1 on the French side. The campaign provided uses the new concept of a "clonable" campaign allowing to choose with which device to do the campaign with the interface of DCE_Manager (see the installation PDF)
