Great video. Could not listen at work, but the visuals were very good. I wish our A10 could ripple fire 3 mavs at the same time that easily. That one seemed to have AB as well. :)

Just delete it if nothing is in it. Or reformat again and see if its repeatable. I do not have anything in my program folders.

Its a console sim, not a full PC sim. Its not bad for the driving, but the game play is letting me down a bit. I am at level 23 and still can not do the level 19 I think "like the wind" or whatever series. I am also missing the level 16 I think classic race car. To buy one in the dealership is 20mil???? Not sure who else is playing, but I do not think I have totaled that much in the game yet. So even if I had not bought any other cars and just stuck with my miata and somehow beaten all the levels (even though my miata can not do half the races due to regulations) I would still not have enough money for a 2 race event car. That car would probably suck for any other series featuring race cars and would only be worth a fraction if I tried to sell it. Add to that the fact that I can not pan my view in car at all and the fact that I can only get into a few of the cars in my garage, and it keeps making me more frustrated that this is the result of their 6 year development cycle. The damage modeling is embarrassing when you look at what NFS shift did a few years ago. Shadows are horrid and only GT5 has the PS3 memory limitation excuse on the hip for use in interviews. Also, instead of retiring a B spec driver, I would like the option of placing him at the finish line at Daytona so I can run him over without touching the brakes to prove to him that it can be done.

I have it. Trying to think if I have used it in BS. I have used it in A10 with much success so should work in BS. Not a bad monitor but has no typical stand because its touch, they must have thought it would be unstable. Its shiny so if you dislike glossy monitors keep looking. One restriction is two way switches/knobs. If it does not cycle with left mouse click, you will not be able to activate the right click direction of the switch/knob. I still need to use my mouse for those functions. Helios is my next purchase though, so this should not be an issue. I really need TIR though. Its difficult to look around with a hand on the view keys then touch the screen, and also fly.

Sweet, finally a reason to fire up DCS again. I have been playing GT5 non stop since it came out a a few weeks ago. Will have to look at SCS site, but does it have a BS profile or will I need to make one? I have a single 23" TS so I can not wait to try this. I know you have a video on the site somewhere, but some screen shots would be very nice as well.

I dont think a fix was ever found. You could cut a piece of black cardboard to reveal the areas for your abris shkval.

So if I press ctrl+keypad0 I get snap views active? Which ctrl? Then after activating snap views, I press one of the keypad numbers 1-9 and get my custom snap view? Do you have to hold the keypad or not? This will be great. I hope this works as easy as you describe so I can try it soon.

Air refuel over tow could do it. If you load the wings with gbus and hit the tanker to top off wing tanks and internal tanks you could easily over weight yourself. Of course you would be a dumb ass and deserving of broken gear landing afterward. It can be done but very unlikely. He'll I can barely catch the tanker at full tow when I was messing around.

If I want to fly a bomber I will just fly FSX. Flying at 50k+ for a couple hours pickle the GPS bomb and turn for home. Yay, fun. All this talk about an actual human RIO. I would like a poll to see how many of these people who keep recommending 2 person a/c would like to sit online and just watch as the pilot flys around and then signals for the RIO to attack a target for 10 seconds, then takes control of the a/c and heads for home. If that is someones idea of fun, thats great. I will not be signing up for that position. How long would the RIOs hang on for if the pilot kept getting shot down by enemy units just before the attack run began? Then wait while respawn and travel back to the area of battle.

Much easier to pick up a target when at much less than 90 degree angle. I have never seen a A10 video of practice strafing being done from complete vertical angles.

Why the F15E over the C? I would rather have the single seat. They both do multi role don't they? I think I would rather have just about anything besides an F jet for the next module though.

The newer Alien cases are pretty slick. Still a bit overpriced for normal retail versions though.

Wow, bucic. What are your system specs? How did you benchmark? Guess I am going to turn up my monitors in cockpit. How does the scenes affect performance? I already use planar shadows.

Got pics of you sitting in it? I would like to have a center stick, but have a G940 with a large base like yours. What kind of MFD screens are you using?

Yes, but from when BS was introduced people were able to make simple XML sheets that made it a simple matter to type in a couple resolutions and it would tell you the LUA scripting to type in. So DCS should be able to program a utility in the game that does the same and implements the LUA scripting. If I have to do it myself I will, but I just hope it works better than BS did in MP.

Turn down your cockpit display resolution. I have mine set at 512. Your card has to render the shkval in real time same as the main view. So effectively its rendering 1050 and 1024 at the same time, I believe.

As others have said, its such a joy to fly when you are good at it. I remember fighting the entire mission the first time I opened the box to play. Now I was on the HIND's ass the whole flight. Well except when I wasn't paying attention and he broke left. Its so nice to get a constant 35-50+ FPS as well. No stuttering just pure joy. Now to try out a mission with weapons. :joystick: Carry on.

As with anything in today's world. The security implementations only make it more difficult for legitimate users. Did you uninstall? I thought that was required so it could be reinstalled without issue.

DCS Kiowa would be great. But if a combat sim comes to market with the outerra engine, I will have to drop the DCS series. That environment is just amazing.

If the F16IN goes through, I could see a sim, but less so for a 20 year old version. Though I doubt the IN version would be declassified enough.
