Will have to read up on making mark points more. How do you get the TGP to instantly lock to the next mark point? I assume you flew over the targets somehow to mark those points before heading in, right?

I usually land around 170ias with full Speed brakes not too far past zone. Or at least I think I do. Maybe I am going faster than I think. Will have to watch closer I guess.

What are your graphics settings? My setup is similar. Nice flying as we all have very little time in these hog. Need to record multiple times to get different cameras the edit together. Takes time.

Hope it works. That is how you change ripple quantities and slew rates. Have not tried dumb bombs yet. Not sure how big of a delay you can get. If you are dropping from very low altitude and very retarded timing, bomb may bounce back up and hit you. :) That would be funny so make sure you save the track if that does happen.

Was that in sim mode? Not even sure how you could scrape the right wing on the ground, then pull up. Would have thought the aircraft would have rolled right first till you reacted and corrected left. Holy damn, what size are those bombs on that tornado Avilator? A6 and Tornado would be awesome for sure. A6 is all retired though I think. Except for maybe refueling.

did you have the cross feed switch flipped? will cause flame out for some reason. have not had the un stoppable engine though.

Anyone with G940 able to map the top hat on the stick? Mine is not picked up in the controls list ingame. Trying to map it for the TMS hat but only the button is picked up when you press that hat in.

Please tell me you have the track file. My wingman flew into the ground on the weapons training mission. I took off and flew NOE for fun. He climbed and then realized I was not, so dove back for the deck. Flew right into a hill after leveling off at 50' AGL.

T-50 looks cooler than the F22 I think. Wonder how they can build a 5th Gen fighter with steam gauges??? << Kidding I will take anything besides F/A-18 and F16.. Sorry, least favorite planes in the sky.

So, I was able to convince my wingie to let me shoot at him in the weapons training mission. :smilewink: The guy knows how to fly for sure. Took me a few stall maneuvers to get him in front of me. My GAU ripped his left tail off and destroyed his left engine. Bastard kept flying. So, I went back at him for another pass. I shot off his right wing and KO'd his right engine. So the coward ejected. Good fun for anyone interested. One of the joys of being a game, and not real life. I was just researching what sort of damage the gun could do to a/c and how much damage a A10 could take. ;) Wish I would have saved it. Will just have to do some more research I guess. Anyone else try anything interesting?

SSD in Raid0 is exactly what Louis CK is talking about. SSD are faster than god can move and people still find ways to want them faster. :) I wish I could get a single SSD for my system. I want a paper manual. If the beta manual was the final, I would actually go to kinkos and get it printed and bound, but its going to change so I am not printing a 650+ page manual that will be wrong with final release. I also Hate PDF manuals. Way to hard to flip back to pages you want. One of my biggest gripes about the trend toward D2D crap. I printed the BS manual which is twice as big as it would be since I do not have 2 sided capability. But it really helps learning when I can ear mark pages.

Option 1b. Repeat training mission parts. May be difficult by I would like to have the maverick mission reread the employment section to me. I follow along at first, then when I start trying to line up and fire, I forget some of the commands. So I have to mess around till I get it, or restart the mission from the runway. Annoying to fly back to same spot. But gives time to practice other steps of combat. Lots of the missions have stuck arrows for me and not able to finish the class.

F16 finds and locks targets for you while you just point the plane around in the sky. A10 does not. You must find and lock targets and keep the plane from crashing as well.

Aileron roll. What is a Vne? max speed? What is the ceiling on the A10? I get up to 33000 and am not able to pull up at all anymore. Get the stall warning. Maybe too heavy. Just took off with clean wings and did not decrease fuel. Dont know how yet. I looked around the cockpit and could not find a fuel dump either. So I lit off the 1150 rounds and dove for the deck.

That can't be right. YF22 took its maiden flight 5 years before the F/A18? And the evolved F22 only 2 years after? Wow. Took them 15 years to go from maiden flight to introduction. That is just slow.

In my dives at 450+ speed units, she is very difficult to pull out of a 60+ degree dive. I tried to push down to 90 degree and it starts rolling or the gauge in the HUD does. Not sure if thats a bug or realistic.

Nose wheel seems weak, but may just be that its still beta. Landing on the autobahn does not exemplify improvised to me. Probably just as much concrete in the road surface as most air strips. Trinitry, As long as it does not turn into BS where landing just about anywhere besides FARP or Runway would result in bucking bronco syndrome.
