I am interested in doing 3 portrait monitors side by side. As stated I think this gives the best of both. More vertical than landscape monitors side by side and also gives more peripheral vision than landscape monitors stacked. I see a lot of stretch on the side panels near the bottom. The beszel cuts through your instruments so you will need to be doing quite a bit of head movement it seems. Still cool setup though. What game? AH2?

I anxiously await A10 interface. I have no use for F4.0.

HP ZR30w Bezel-less Surround Setup

I would be interested to know the step by step. I will probably not be able to afford 2 monitors, and surely not that large. Wonder how 3 1080p monitors would work out in portrait. Of course your PC makes mine look like my old old old apple IIgs. -
That makes sense. In our world its unfortunate since the mission designers usually have more than 12 high threat targets on the map. Though, I just fly WP to WP and do not take much time looking for better routes to the target.

I think there is a switch in front of the collective, not sure though without having the sim in front of me.

Absolutely stunning. What are your computer specs. Do you have any pictures of removing the beszels? -
Did not think 20 rockets would weigh less than 6 vihkr. I run out of vihkr before I am in any danger by the enemy usually. Then I either have to RTB to finish off the AD/tanks, or go for a rockets run, which usually does result in losing some parts of my helo. I understand that major changes could impact the layout and equipment of a chopper, but I dont understand how they never thought it would be a good idea to carry 4 vihkr racks. Or look to the future when another weapon system may want to be added. I do not buy the excuse that the ka50 was not intended to loiter in the combat area. I thought the main benefit/purpose of an attack chopper was to loiter.

Not sure what I am seeing wrong, but seems the M2000 was able to hold the F16 in gunsights better than F16. But, can not understand videos. I like delta wing A/C better in general. -
When I use the Custom Snap view key command Lwin+1,2,3,4,5... the view glances at the control panels, but will not stay. I have to hold the key combo. Why is my snap view not working? I can use the head movement by pressing LAlt+C then hold the middle mouse button. Not sure what Lwin+F1 does but when I push that, I can not move my view with the mouse any more.

Man he stuck that landing with barely a step. That deserves a 9.5 even from the Russian judge.

To be fair, the tail on the wobble copter and its wings seem a bit weak and thin. I am wondering if they could use the tail rotor size instead. I would think they could be shrouded like the tail rotor is, and tucked up under the main rotor. Though this would make the antitorque solution a bit more difficult, and maybe impossible, since the rotors would be basically at the center of the chassis. But, I also wonder why they have not looked at using jets on any of these hybrids. A couple small turbofans could be used and tucked up under the main rotor. Asymetrically modulating the throttle would give the antitorque requirements and provide much more potential for forward speed. Obviously there is a limit to forward speed, and this could be achieved with potentially very tiny antitorque jets. I am sure they have thought of this, just wonder what the reasons are for not using them. Also, not sure why they have the main engine running the side rotors. I guess it could be a problem to lose an antitorque engine, so keeping all engines tied together could be a good thing.

Nice that is great.

Exos makes me think of the scene in IM2 when the suit snaps around breaking the users back. If its extremely powerful, how do they stop that scenario? Also wondering how you can pick up say 300lbs in front of you, with no ballast behind. Still super cool that stuff like the comics may be around in my lifetime. Sweet russian carrier vids too diveplane. Amazing that they use no catapult and such short take off distances. The SU25 uses lots of deck, why dont they start the su33 at the same distance?

Too much collective is the cause of rotor crash. Different situations allow for different amounts of collective. Key to flying the BS smooth is gentle movements and anticipating the chopper. It takes a moment for the chopper to respond to input. Make sure your 3 AP blue buttons are lit on the right side panel below the PVI-800. If you use the "left win" + "Home" key shortcut for starting the helicopter, they should be lit on take off. For take off, press and hold the trim buttong and tilt forward slightly as you are raising the collective. Once the helo is stable and your stick position is not changing, release the trim button and return the cyclic to center. The chopper will then fly itself at that attitude. You can make slight changes without pressing the trimmer button again. But, when you need to make major flight changes you will need to hold the trimmer button till your attitude is correct again.

They look great but are they collideable? -
I have never had a laser burn out either. Must be just lucky. So besides expense, nothing limits having 4 pods. ruskies need to open the checkbooks. :)

I would love the mirage for sure. Cockpit looks cozy. -
That is BA right there. Is there something that limits carrying 4 vihkr pods?

KA-50 should has a Radar Warning Receiver.

That does not look too cumbersome for the BS to get. :) -
Thanks for the explanation Tiger. I just wanted to know how AI had been improved. Glad to see it improved but did not make the AI superhuman. I usually do not even pay attention to wingmen since they are useless most times. This should improve gameplay a lot. Thanks for your work. aairon, not sure of your problem but if my post offended YOU, I am sorry. OP was not offended and simply answered my question and I appreciate that from him. I was not sure if I understood what he was saying and asked for some clarification. OP provided with no contention. There are other places you can go to pick fights. I was not picking one, not sure why you felt the need to be a smart ass.

Holy crap nice computer, you should be getting amazing FPS. 980x is more than my entire computer.

Not sure if english is your first language or not, but I am having a hard time understanding. Did you rewrite the AI somehow? Could you give more detail of what you changed?

The bird is clearly visible in the original. From inside and then outside showing the distance which I believe would have had tails hitting. Also never noticed the F5... uhm mig28 was actually a t38 in that scene. The scene is terribly inconsistent. Cougar is in front, then when maverick makes his roll move, cougar is gone. "Mig" just cruising along dead straight. The mig is still flying straight when Maverick rolls off, so not sure where the 4g or -4g part ever came into the equation.
