  1. Yes we plan to update the campaigns to include this new version once the module has stabilized and any major bugs have been corrected.
  2. Yes sorry for not replying sooner. We have one bug with the ILS that we are still trying to figure out. The game crashes when you switch to the ILS in certain conditions. We saw the same thing in our F-15C Aggressors BFM campaign so we don't know if it's mission specific (and something we can fix) or a bug in the game engine. Once we get that sorted then we should be close to getting the files to ED. We don't want to release the campaign with a known bug (plus it breaks one of the missions). Unfortunately we cannot give a specific ETA on the release.
  3. Sorry I missed this thread. We recommend that you take out the air threats (SAM and AAA) yourself. Usually the AI won't attack if there are air threats in the area. So best to use them on targets after the air threats are eliminated. Also when sending the targets to your wingmen make sure you are close enough to the target (and they are in formation with you). There have been some changes to the AI so they need to be close to the targets to see them. If you still have problems post a .trk file (of either the practice mission or qualification mission) and we can investigate further.
  4. The diagram is showing the pattern after you have entered it from the straight in approach. First you need to takeoff - fly to WP 2 then turn left toward WP 3 and get an approach vector for Batumi. Reduce altitude and enter the pattern at pattern altitude when you are about 10 miles out. If you fly the waypoints directly then the mission should complete even if you don't get the voice triggers from the FE. The triggers are centered around the waypoints but we will see if we can make them more forgiving.
  5. Without seeing your actual flight plan it's hard to say why some of the trigger zones didn't activate. The trigger zones are close to the waypoints so if you fly the flight plan directly then you should hit the trigger zones. My guess is maybe the turns are not sharp enough taking you off the flight plan and missing the zones. We are updating the missions with new voice overs so we will check the zones and see if we can make them larger to reduce the risk of missing them. You can compare your flight to Recon Stewart's video as his example is still relevant with the current trigger zones:
  6. For an alternative perspective on these campaigns read this thread. You must exit the range to get the mission debrief and scoring. Did you get the debrief? Post a .trk file and we can investigate.
  7. Did you call "Ready"? When you are within 5nm of the the India WP you should get a message to call "Ready" to start the engagement. If it's not happening please post a trk file and we can investigate.
  8. Love it! Keep up the great work!
  9. Glad you got it to work. That's good info. Hopefully it helps anyone else having issues with this mission. Thanks for the update!
  10. Just retested and we have a fix. Hopefully it will make the next patch update. We will check the other missions to see if the AI changes have messed up other taxi routines.
  11. Thanks for reporting that. We will retest and see if we can improve the taxi times.
  12. Are you using any MODs? Have you tried a DCS Repair?
  13. Without a trk file it's hard to see what its happening. For example: Are you close to the targets? Did you send a markpoint to your wingmen? What instructions are you sending to the wingmen to engage? Also the AI wingmen usually won't engage if there SAM or AAA threats close by. The mission only requires that the targets within the killbox be destroyed. It's best if you can use your wingmen but if they won't comply then you can use your weapons to complete the mission. Best advice is once you have spotted a target and confirmed it's within the kill box then send the mark point to your wingmen and order them to engage with the specific type of units they are (for example armor or vehicles) at least that's what's worked in the past. It's possible it's a bug but without a trk it will be hard for ED to debug.
  14. Thanks dcs76! A trk file is always helpful to see what the AI is doing. We will check the altitudes and routes again to ensure sufficient distance over/away from any trees.
  15. Thanks for reporting the issue. We will retest and see if we can correct the helo crashes for the next patch release.
  16. Without a trk file it's hard to see how your flight went. For BFT12 both practice and the qual mission you are actually landing at Kobuleti not Batumi. We are updating the campaign with new voice overs so we will see if we can improve the AI behavior with testing. Unfortunately it's like trying to hit a moving target. When we get something working in one version the next patch update changes it. We are not sure yet how the campaign will work with the new A-10C II module but we hope to port all our campaigns to it.
  17. Use the F10 section of the radio menu.
  18. Yes you do need to destroy all identified targets.
  19. Without a trk file it's hard to see how you are conducting the flight. The triggers are centered on the waypoints so if you fly to the waypoints they should activate. If not try a DCS Repair or uninstall and reinstall the campaign. It's possible depending on speed and how easy or aggressive you make your turns that following the FE instructions only you could miss the trigger zones. Be aggressive in your turns (it is a combat jet not a cessna) so try and get on direct heading to the waypoint as soon as possible. You can compare your flight to Recon Stewart's video as the logic has not changed much. We have some updates planned so we will see if we can make the trigger zones more forgiving.
  20. We just retested and it worked fine on the same OB version 2.5.6.50979. Can you fly any other A-10C missions? Do you have any MODs installed? Anything reported in the DCS Log file? I suggest opening a support ticket with ED so they can investigate as we don't see any problems from our end.
  21. When you get the mayday call you need to sanitize the area where the pilot will get picked up and then send in Chevy to get the pilot. This is similar to the CSAR mission in TAC24. You may be running out of time if you are not completing the other missions fast enough.
  22. Best to open a support ticket with ED and provide a .trk file so they can figure out why you didn't hear the shoot down. The failure trigger is based on a flag that is only set when the unit is shot down and the CSAR request messages are played.
