  1. Just retested and we have a fix. Hopefully it will make the next patch update. We will check the other missions to see if the AI changes have messed up other taxi routines.
  2. Thanks for reporting that. We will retest and see if we can improve the taxi times.
  3. Are you using any MODs? Have you tried a DCS Repair?
  4. Without a trk file it's hard to see what its happening. For example: Are you close to the targets? Did you send a markpoint to your wingmen? What instructions are you sending to the wingmen to engage? Also the AI wingmen usually won't engage if there SAM or AAA threats close by. The mission only requires that the targets within the killbox be destroyed. It's best if you can use your wingmen but if they won't comply then you can use your weapons to complete the mission. Best advice is once you have spotted a target and confirmed it's within the kill box then send the mark point to your wingmen and order them to engage with the specific type of units they are (for example armor or vehicles) at least that's what's worked in the past. It's possible it's a bug but without a trk it will be hard for ED to debug.
  5. Ok no problem.
  6. Thanks dcs76! A trk file is always helpful to see what the AI is doing. We will check the altitudes and routes again to ensure sufficient distance over/away from any trees.
  7. Thanks for reporting the issue. We will retest and see if we can correct the helo crashes for the next patch release.
  8. Without a trk file it's hard to see how your flight went. For BFT12 both practice and the qual mission you are actually landing at Kobuleti not Batumi. We are updating the campaign with new voice overs so we will see if we can improve the AI behavior with testing. Unfortunately it's like trying to hit a moving target. When we get something working in one version the next patch update changes it. We are not sure yet how the campaign will work with the new A-10C II module but we hope to port all our campaigns to it.
  9. Use the F10 section of the radio menu.
  10. Yes you do need to destroy all identified targets.
  11. Without a trk file it's hard to see how you are conducting the flight. The triggers are centered on the waypoints so if you fly to the waypoints they should activate. If not try a DCS Repair or uninstall and reinstall the campaign. It's possible depending on speed and how easy or aggressive you make your turns that following the FE instructions only you could miss the trigger zones. Be aggressive in your turns (it is a combat jet not a cessna) so try and get on direct heading to the waypoint as soon as possible. You can compare your flight to Recon Stewart's video as the logic has not changed much. We have some updates planned so we will see if we can make the trigger zones more forgiving.
  12.
  13. We just retested and it worked fine on the same OB version 2.5.6.50979. Can you fly any other A-10C missions? Do you have any MODs installed? Anything reported in the DCS Log file? I suggest opening a support ticket with ED so they can investigate as we don't see any problems from our end.
  14. When you get the mayday call you need to sanitize the area where the pilot will get picked up and then send in Chevy to get the pilot. This is similar to the CSAR mission in TAC24. You may be running out of time if you are not completing the other missions fast enough.
  15. Best to open a support ticket with ED and provide a .trk file so they can figure out why you didn't hear the shoot down. The failure trigger is based on a flag that is only set when the unit is shot down and the CSAR request messages are played.
  16. If your DCS Install is crashing BigNewy has posted the following to help get it resolved: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=202214
  17. We can explain but it will be a spoiler for those who read this before trying the mission. However if you want to know the truth then read on...
  18. You can do the authentication once the pilot reaches the pickup-point but you don't have to authenticate him right away. You can do that after the threats are eliminated. Once you know the pilot has been downed you can order your wingmen to start engaging targets. Monitor the roadways to the pickup area and eliminate any threats while the downed pilot is proceeding to the pickup point. We found switching back and forth on the radio (between wingmen and the downed pilot) was a good way to see if he was still on the move while maintaining SA on your wingmen attacks. Then you can clean up any targets the wingmen didn't get. Once you are confident all the targets are eliminated, then do the authentication and if he passes then send in the choppers. Also you can use the practice mission to get a feel for the mission flow to help you pass the qual mission. Hopefully these tips can help you out.
  19. Thanks for the feedback. To play a specific mission you must open them in the Mission Editor (check the folder browser option and point at the campaign folder). Unfortunately there is no way to do that within the current campaign menu mechanism.
  20. Glad you got the issue sorted.
  21. That is weird. You should be able to open any of the campaign missions in the mission editor and play them as single missions. We just tried it and it worked fine for us. Please try a DCS Repair - that may correct it.
  22. Glad to hear it!
  23. First, make sure you switch to Guard frequency to hear that the pilot landed safely and is on the run to the pickup-point. If you have done that and still no luck then try it without Viacom. There have been reported issues with Viacom and JTACs in particular so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for other radio calls but it might have an impact.
  24. Try a DCS Repair as well. Another user reported a problem with shutdown but reported he was able to make it work so not sure what was going on in his last attempt. We are updating all the missions and will provide the ability to trigger the Shutdown Completed message via the F10 radio so there won't be any guessing.
  25. Did you turn off the battery? That is the indication that you have fully shutdown. If you did and it's still not registering please post a .trk file so we can review it. Others recently completed the campaign so we need to understand why it didn't work on your system.
