fixed [REPORTED]Low altitude, Low fuel, High speed wobbling
HR-Crumble replied to Quetzalkoatl's topic in Bugs and Problems
Okay that's good to know as for a while there I was thinking my new hotas was on the blink. I've never come across the problem until after last week's update. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk -
Hi mate - I'm a huge TIR fan. I've got the TIR 5 Pro and it's fantastic. Yes VR is slightly more immersive but I have a 21:9 4k monitor so I don't loose any resolution in comparison. I've tried both side by side. The TIR performs really well, I've tweaked one of the default profiles so it's very fast and smooth and great around the cockpit centre point. I cant sing it's praises high enough. It very rarely stutters or drops lock and in fact the only time it has is where I've had a light come on suddenly behind me in the office and it catches itself. To answer your Viper question specifically - it's a great addition to that module because of the visibility in the bubble cockpit so being able to really make natural use of that is great. Also the F18 and F16 have the HMCS system which with slave mode for the 9-X in the F-16 is a lethal dogfight combination for off boresight missile launches. It's a good product, well made and for my two pence get the pro as it's more accurate. The software took a while to get setup - mainly because I was trying to get it just right but once you've got your individual setup sorted it's good to go and I use the F-12 key to centre it. Hope that helps. Crumble. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

fixed [REPORTED]Low altitude, Low fuel, High speed wobbling

Rudder wobble since last update Hi all, I've noticed at high speed at low to medium altitudes but most noticeably at very low altitudes regardless if loadout my Viper oscillates left and right. Could be like buffeting. It feels like it's wobbling. Does it in and out of AP. Have recalibrated my hotas. Have moved the rudder axis. Anyone else getting a slight left and right wobble?? Hi all, There a w a couple of threads about how hard it is tinrwsd the FCR and HSD text in the viper. Even on a 4k monitor with cockpit graphics set to highest it is still by far the hardest thing to read without leaning in. I've seen and been quoted a few mods to fix this but can anyone please provide a link to the definitive best mod to make the mfds more readable. Thanks very much. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Through The Inferno (Dynamic DCS) - Public US Server
HR-Crumble replied to deadlyfishes's topic in Multiplayer
Edit I found out that if you delete the jtac drones that's why it keeps respawning. How do we drop the Forbes from Ladin grhe targets so we can do our own LGB bombing? Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk -
Through The Inferno (Dynamic DCS) - Public US Server

Through the inferno won't stop spawning. Hi guys. Ive downloaded your awesome PG map mission for single player. Have gone through the resdme and out FALSE to everything except AA spawn. When I try AG easy on either auto spawn or set to FALSE and I manually add the mission from F10 it doesn't stop spawning. Like it adds 16 units at each site and then goes back around adding 16 more at the same site until dcs crashes. Can anyone help? Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk -
Alpenwolf - what about the FRS.1 Harrier coming from Razbam v soon?? Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Well since the update the other day my food is now working flawlessly as are the ones for the guys in our Virtual Wing who also fly Vipers. Now I know the update change log did not contain anything specific to the TPOD but all the hotas functions work flawlessly. Even without putting waypoints on a mission I can just see a target and go TMS aft and it boresights the TPOD and then the slew works fast and smooth and is easy to find TOO. I'm dead chuffed with it! Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Could be fun as an experiment but shouldn't we be opening up the cold war server more because weve for new cold war jets coming just around the corner - Corsair and Flogger. These will naturally start to leave the 19/21 behind. We are not far off the point of needing a second cold war server - 50s-60s and 60s-80s. As long as we don't have BVR and spamraam going on we are good. Lots of exciting directions and gameplay to come on Alpens server [emoji1316][emoji1316] Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Hi guys - since the new update last night the TPOD seems to be behaving better for me. Whilst ED did not mention a tpod update on the change log it is certainly better for me. However I find that as long as I have a waypoint on my targets from mission editor etc then I can use the TPOD and TMS functions absolutely fine. It is when I do not have a waypoint and I wish to 'go rogue' with the pod and just slew it around and find my own targets of oppo. I cannot get it to TMS aft and boresight the pod and if I eventually manage to get it locked onto a target it's hit or miss if I can get point track or wide view etc. SOI is the TPOD and CCRP mode is enabled for reference. I'm guessing it's just not finished yet. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Mate. I'm going to end this conversation now. More than once in my messages I have confirmed. I KNOW IFF AND DATA LINK ARE NOT THE SAME SYSTEM. I ALSO KNOW THAT TMS LEFT IS ONLY IFF. I'm also aware the F-16 cannot type identify like the hornet can. Not sure how many times I can confirm that. These are not my questions. I appreciate your passion though. Stay safe. Perfect answer thank you Alpenwolf. We can see where the reds have extra AAA and air defense as the reds did IRL in the cold war. I can see you're not a harrier fan in the server so I'll stop asking for that [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji1362]. It's also pleasing to see you're thinking about the 23 and it joining the ranks as well. As before - keep up the good work. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Perfect Bouli306 thank you. You have also confirmed my very intial question of the system still being in open beta and a few bugs to iron out. Thanks all and stay safe. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Right so red doesn't mean bandit. If I'm looking at a friendly and so is the AWACS it doesn't stay green or goes red? Isn't that bad for IDing targets? Wags video says red coloured contacts are bandits? Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

I think you're not getting what I'm saying. I'm agreeing with what you are saying. This happens in my F-16 - NO DATA LINK SCENARIO: white contact on FCR. TMS left goes green or stays white. DATA LINK ON SCENARIO: green contact on FCR TMS left will make it go green or red. FYI I am only talking about using the FCR. My OP was regarding if IFF or data link is bugged. On some MP servers where you have an AWACS and data link and you IFF TMS left on the FCR sometimes the greens go red colour. That's fine indicating bandit. You then lock it up and fire and get a blue on blue kill. Even though it was red. My OP question is - is this a bug? Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Hey Alpenwolf, As you know a big fan of what you're doing and the changes made etc. Thank you for keeping up the hard work. [emoji1373] This isn't a request post mainly a question. With more new blue aircraft coming online more so than reds have you got any plans to implement the new aircraft coming? Blue have the Corsair, Harrier FRS.1 coming in the very near future etc and the reds at the moment just have the Flogger coming. Blues already have a more wide range of aircraft I personally feel. Will these new jets make it onto cold war? Is there an option to open up more of what reds we have from the start of a mission? Mig-29A etc? Also and it's more a geo-political point of view but perhaps a short term fix to equal out the reds could be to give reds the harrier - Indian navy ran the Harrier. Could work? Anyways just a thought. Keep up the good work on the server. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Yes TMS is just the hotas control I'm aware. If you TMS left you IFF interrogate and that will also get info from the data link showing red or green on the FCR. If you don't have the data link as I said they stay white right or go green - but this is just the internal F-16 IFF interrogation. Cheers! Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

So if you have data link enabled and you TMS left in the FCR SOI and it goes from green to red that is data link telling me it's a bandit. If I have NO data link enabled or AWACS etc and you IFF sweep with TMS left it will go from green to white - indicating a bandit? Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk

Hi all, For a while I’ve been trying to find some DCS Spec maps for Caucasus and Persian Gulf. Ones that I can have a separate screen without needing to be in DCS and that I can print from and stick up on my pit wall. I’ve seen an excellent User File for the Cawks map which has great reviews. Can you guys and gals recommend me some? Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
