Currently having the same issue in 2023.

Hi all, I'll try to keep it simple in explanation: I have 2 hornets that are departing for a strike and I have AI EA-6B (MOD, works fine no issues) that joins up on them and follows them. I then have setup as I usually would a series of radio triggers accessible through Radio Menu called "Go SEAD". The idea is that when I press this the Prowler breaks off and goes and attacks a specific SAM site set to RED alert and energised with its HARMS. I cannot seem to get it to break off and attack that specific target, it does break off a but it goes for the nearest threat. I have been trying for about 3 days now. I have tried many option sincluding: Set jet to SEAD off and use triggered action to SEAD on and then ATTACK UNIT, also tried Search and Engage in Zone, ATTACK GROUP, deleted SEAD as task out of triggered actions and tried it with just ATTACK UNIT/SEARCH and ENGAGE Zone etc. I have also tried a variation of weapon HOLD/FREE/DESIGNATE and I have also tried all the above with the ground attack option ensuring SAM is selected as target type. Any help would be great. I have attached a few screens for ref - they are not all of the millions of different options ive tried fyi.

Hi there - great mod thank you for all your efforts. Is it possible to get the Prowler to fire HARMS at a SAM? Unlike other AI jets I just can’t get the Prowler to fire at SAMs with AI Task Push

How do you manually install this mod? The instructions are only for JGSME? Great work and many thanks! -
Hi All, Issue - when setting fog (20feet, viz 8700feet) the fps drops to around 20 for all players. Also going above 1000 feet the whole ground on all parts of the map go fully under fog and all the map disappears. Rig - 5600x 3700ti 64gig.

Hi all - just a quick question as it’s a little unclear after reading. Is there a way I can use this mod but only have legacy hornet pylons A. Shown on the model and B. Fully working as per the legacy and not with a non functional cheek or the pylons shifted to one side? Apart from that what a great piece of work you guys have done for the community. Thank you and great job. Crumble

Hi all, Where would one find the individual airport kneeboard maps? KR, Matt

Thanks mate - appreciate the detail!!

This new method worked for me straight away - i was initially in lowercase and went CAPS and it worked. I have two further question sif I may: 1. How do you navigate to the Target Point like you would WINC through wapoints and nav to them? 2. How do you slave you tpod to the target point (so you are already looking at the target point through your tpod before you get on station for example?) KR, Crumble

Is there a mission editor weather guide updated on 2.8? I can’t seem to see much difference between weather in 2.8 v 2.7. Even with brand new miz files I can’t see how the rain is only in random sections for example or the clouds move in different layers? have tried a fresh install etc. Also for the majority of presets the cloud layers don’t necessarily match the description and changing the cloud base doesn’t always change the cloud base. It must be a user issue in the ME I’m sure - have we got a guide?

Dynamic Weather in ME
HR-Crumble replied to SmeagleGoneWild's topic in Weather System Bugs & Problems
I haven’t seen any difference in any of the 2.8 weather versus 2.7…. -
Thats brilliant thank you very much for the reply - that makes sense as I’ve been away from the harrier for a few months. So no need for a throw T00 point just #TP1, #TP2, #TP3 etc

Hi all, I cannot get the harrier to load targets from f10 map naymore. have tried a blank initial markpoint and then T01 and T02 and back to cockpit and the RShift+RAlt+8 and no load. Have also tried initial markpoint as T00. Has the procedure changed?

AGM-65L unable to uncage after first launch
HR-Crumble replied to Kappa's topic in Problems and Bugs
This issue still persists in 2.8 latest beta. -
Hi Harrier pilots - is there a way to have threat rings or add marks points from ME so that the EHSD can have a location marker showing a threat?

Creating waypoint offsets in the Mission Editor (Rework)
HR-Crumble replied to Zeus67's topic in AV-8B N/A
Hi Zeus - what do these WP offsets do? can you use them to mark Sam sites and threat areas etc? -
Hi Razbam, Come across something I’ve only experienced since 2.8 in that the Harrier when you start to taxi forward immediately the fuel pumps shut off and the engine shuts down. These are my parameters: 100% fuel auto start or manual cold start or hot started on land and on the ship Double bindings checked Any thoughts?

HR-Crumble replied to Zeus67's topic in AV-8B N/A
Some great info there thanks! I don't have evidence specific to the Harrier firing an E in self lase mode but I have an AGM-65E document stating it's able to be lased by the firing aircraft itself and it discusses being used on the F/A-18C and AV-8B N/A. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk -

So how come the 65E self lase was removed? Is it specific to Harrier software as to why because IRL you can self lase from a tpod on the E. Sent from my IN2013 using Tapatalk
