Ok, that worked, it passed that point. But now I get this message "Need modules for load mission: VPC Object by voc & virpil.com". And the mission stops again. I'm using version "VPC-Airfield Equipment 0.9.4 beta". Maybe you could make a download package of the files you used? Thanks for your help.

Hi Eduardo, Can you please help? I've installed the mods into the Saved Games as shown in your picture. When I now start the first mission I get this message that "the P-38D is required" and the mission stops loading. Regards, Huub.

On page 15 of the manual it states that solo flights are undertaken from the front cockpit. Will there be an option for single player to do instrument training flights from the rear cockpit using the blackout curtains?

I understand that aileron & elevator trim position indicator awaits the AFM implementation. Will that also restrict the trim button to no more then the indicated values? Because at the moment the trim button brings the stick to full end.

DCS Updater settings now working: in browsing for Saved Games you must select the sub-directory as well. Maybe my fault but in my (fading..) memory I don't remember this. Problem solved.

Hi, After a fresh install of Windows 10 version 1809 the utility cannot find the Saved Games directory anymore. In the settings the icon stays red. The icon for the game is green. In the application.log it says that Saved Games is " not detected". But the browse field shows the correct directory name. I removed the Saved Games and let DCS create a new one. Still not working. I tried an older version of the utility but still the same problem. In the application log it says "not detected". Is there something to check?

Thanks for the explanation. In VR I'm trying to rely more on audio than on reading and it would have been much easier (for me!) if communication language could be set on a user preference. Like the written messages. But I guess it is what it is now.

Maybe I don't understand it fully but your answer implies that you cannot change country for a plane once it has been placed on a specific airfield. So a training mission created in Russian language could not be used for users in English language. Meaning that you cannot use an existing mission but would have to recreate from new. Is that what you are saying?

Hi, I've tested this only with the L-39 module (DCS version 2.5) as I noticed this problem first with this module. Please feel free to test this on other modules. At first I deleted the DCS & Saved Games directories completely to rule out any time-creeping issues. Did a complete new install & updated to the latest 2.5 version. Map: Caucasus. Airfield: Batumi. Created new missions with L-39C, parked hot. First with default coalition as presented by Mission Editor. 1. New mission where country = USA. Request taxi question = English, ATC reply = English. 2. New mission where country = Russia. Request taxi question = Russian, ATC reply = Russian. 3. Change country to Russia in first mission. Request taxi question = Russian, ATC reply = none. 4. Change country to USA in second mission. Request taxi question = English, ATC reply = none. Now change coalition for new missions. One new mission where Russia is moved to blue coalition and another where USA is moved to red coalition. 1. New mission where country = USA. Request taxi question = English, ATC reply = English. 2. New mission where country = Russia. Request taxi question = Russian, ATC reply = Russian. 3. Change country to Russia in first mission. Request taxi question = Russian, ATC reply = Russian. 4. Change country to USA in second mission. Request taxi question = English, ATC reply = English. It seems that the language for the communication with ATC is depending on the coalition/country combination when the mission is created. If there is any deviation, ATC will not respond. The settings in the menu (Gameplay - language native/English and for all missions ticked or not) does not have any impact on this. To me this is annoying as training missions and campaigns are also influenced by this.

Yes, it works on my (old) laptop that I've updated to Windows 10 Home. The only thing, as mentioned in the manual, have the monitor switched on before you start your Pc. Else it may/may not work. Because of the laptop I use the VGA connection and the USB cable, required for the "touchmode" is connected to 2.0 port. The update to Windows 10 was a clean install so no previous drivers installed. The picture shows the driver info.

I use it attached to my laptop (old HP, not for DCS) and it works great in Windows 10 Home. Full touchscreen functionality.

Don't know about CPU Affinity Mask. I always let system/Windows decide (HyperThreading on etc.) and never have problems with that. Running i7 5930K OC @4.4 - WC.

Hi John, What bios are you running? Because the latest 1003 is very buggy, best go back to 901 or 801. I also uninstalled AI+ Charger as that gave me blue screens as well. Huub.
