Yes, our system can handle the majority of A+ games pretty well, can handle solid 35+ fps on VR in every situations if we lower the configs on DCS, but its totally normal the FPS drops in a half on Supercarrier and we need a $3.5k machines just to run it. I have almost a same system of you, but my processor is a i7 4790 and I have 16gb of ram. The only option you have is disable all shadows, medium, low or flat have no difference, only "none" impact in SP performance. I use fpsvr and what I see is when I enable shadows, my CPU goes bananas, its not a GPU thing.

It will be a full fidelity J-11, its not a Russian aircraft, but is close enough. PS: I will never buy a red air aircraft, but I would love to see MP server purely red vs blue.

The same thing happens in any aircraft, look, in my F-5 with zoom, only the KC-135 slightly distinguishable.

I use a 23 'monitor with 1080 resolution, I struggle to see anything at close range, everything is very small and appears as a single pixel at 4nm away. Even a KC-135 is indistinguishable from a SU-27, as in the attached screenshot. I don't know what else I can change, any tips?
