  1. It's a new generation EOS for A2G purposes.
  2. Seems like the problems lies outside any ED product. I recently updated my Saitek drivers and SST software and the mouse has totally different appearance on the control panel. I just found out that it no longer works neither in BS1 and FC2.
  3. Inside and outside the Kuznetsov - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ibg7dG3TjYY&feature=related Also, Su-33 pilot's point of view during take-off and landing can be seen here - http://www.vesti.ru/only_video.html?vid=387592
  4. It no longer seems possible to assign anything to the X52 throttle mouse in 1.1.1.1. From the very beginning I ever touched Black Shark still in early beta stage I was using the scroll up-down for targeting box size increase/decrease which was recognized as button 33 and 34. Had no problems doing so in BS2 1.1.1.0 but with the new patch this isn't working anymore. None of the mouse functions are recognized by the sim. Some workaround except SST profile?
  5. Managed to solve the problem using the trick from this post - http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1170551&postcount=10 Now I have awful scenes but at least the game works.
  6. I'm getting a game crash every time I try join a server as a client. It crashes while loading when the progress bar says "Loading ground objects". The .crash file points to the edTerrain.dll file. That file has a size of 1.02MB while on a friend's PC with fresh install of BS2 on Win7 it weights 1.5MB. I updated the videocard and the network drivers to the latest but to no avail. Did the 3GB trick at the boot.ini file as well. I have no problems hosting a game though. People connect to me and the game runs ok. System is XP Pro SP2, AMD 4200+ dual core, 3GB RAM, GT220 video. Crash file attached. DCS-20111210-214542.rar
  7. Love the sound of the G-load! Reminds me of being hit by a strong thermal while flying with my paraglider :D
  8. Happy birthday, ole comrade!
  9. Except the obvious presence of TVC exhaust and absence of the test flight air-data sensors on the nose there seems to be a cannon installed.
  10. Different story but I don't want to start new thread so I'm posting here. I get a CTD each time I join a multiplayer as a client. It occurs while the mission is loading at the moment I'm supposed to see the slots/coalitions table. And where do I find the .crash file? I don't seem to have a Temp folder.
  11. Well, that might be the simple statistics as well. I'm not certain about the correct numbers but I believe more than the half of the helicopter combat losses worldwide are due to tail rotor/transmission hits. While a main rotor (even two of them) is much harder to completely lose it's purpose. The advantages and disadvantages of both design is well known. That's a subject to another discussion. And what you quote in the manual - "coaxial-rotor helicopters are generally safer to fly than the single-rotor helicopters" is something that I would agree. Rotors intersection is something that can occur after extreme violations of the helicopter's flight limitations and the history knows only two such cases, with Ka-50 prototypes for the record. But the coaxial design is really safer for pilot point of view and easier to master. Not sure about the Mi-28 but Ka-50 has definitely wider range of flight limitations than Mi-24.
  12. The rotors and flight model in general are just fine, like they always were.
  13. Engines and gearbox oil pressure indicators are broken. Now pressure build-up starts at ~30% compressor RPM which is not normal. Pilot is not allowed to open the cut-off valve if there is no positive indication of oil pressure during crank. It should be at least 0.5 bars at dry motoring and about 2 bars at idle. At all other flight conditions it should be between 3.5 - 4 bars. Now it stabilizes at about 2.5 - 2.7 bars which is too low. Same goes for the gearbox. In BS1 this works normal.
  14. Does it matter what version BS1 is - DVD or download - for making BS2 work?
  15. On the second picture - those are 29's not 27's ;)
  16. The OVT is ... well yeah, no comment. Trully amazing! But what I was impressed the most was the german Eurofighter flown by a test pilot.
  17. I'll be there on sunday.
  18. Actually, the very same officer guiding the SA-3 missile to it has been participating in this exercise. P.S. Some more good stuff here - http://www.balakchiev.com/bg/images-go/autumn-2011-exercise
  19. Interesting visitors in 3rd AFB Graff Ignatievo last week - two-ship MiG-29's from "101 ЛАЕ Витезови" from Serbia. They have performed, along with Bulgarian 29's missile launches at the Shabla shootong range at the Black Sea. Except for the two fighters Serbia has participated with various SAM sites, like last year. But this has been the first international trip for the Serbian 29's. More photos - http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?127757-Vojska-Srbije-Serbian-Military-Photos-Read-the-first-post-carefully!/page334 Pictures by Airfan and Airbuster from here Serbian 29's have used R-60 only while Bulgarian have launched all the types available - R-60, R-73 and R-27, pictures by HORNISE:
  20. The UPAZ container is standard for the Su-33 which can operate as a tanker. It's the new MiG-29KUB that it's shown refueling a MiG-35 on MAKS.
