  1. Hi Guys, There is following note in the manual: If the mission needs require longer firing time, it’s possible to remove the center gun in each wing. This allows each outboard gun to be loaded with 500 rounds. But I can't figure out how to do that in the Mission editor. I guess it is something you need to do before start...
  2. Wohoo!!! Joining the "stay in home" celebration... Fly safe!
  3. Come ED, where is the not promissed sale? "Try before u Die!" slogan must be used why it still last. Later will not be so atractive!
  4. Hello Guys, I'm finishing Georgian Oil War camping at the moment, flying my Su-25T, version 2.5.5 (the current stable) and noticed a weird thing... It happened multiple times to me, that I shoot the CH-47D Helicopter with my R-60M or R-73 missile, I got usually 2 messages in the "Battle Damage Assessment" without the helicopter been destroyed. And find it later on the ground. Until this point it is fair I guess, pilot made it safely to the ground, but the weird part is that it becomes invincible since that point. I tried to finish it with multiple direct hits from Vihrs, rockets, cannon shots... Nothing. It never explodes not I got recognition for the kill...
  5. Ironhand > Oki I did some more testing to confirm and, that's it! You actually solve it! All the weird things I saw and were confusing my calculations happened only when I was adding tanks with 0% internal fuel. Once I had 100% fuel everything works as expected...
  6. Well, as sick as it sounds, I can use a good sale too... PS: There should be extra item like a full face gas mask or something... "Stay in your cockpit and wash you hands!" or "Wash you hands before you eject!" or sometihng...
  7. thru Skype obviously...
  8. Great, do you know by any chance, is the refueling pod working now?
  9. Hi Team, I would like to know if you are still working on this, like additional features etc... Based on the github the last commit was done like 9 months ago...
  10. Thank you all guys, that is quite informative... Specialy the "Wings of Russia" documentaries...
  11. PS: all my measurement are done in the 2.5.5 stable version not the beta if it makes a difference...
  12. Oki, as I mentioned I did not use the ME at all, all my measurements were done strictly refuel/rearm... Also I noticed that when I had a tank I always got a new one when adding another... So when I set fuel to 0% add a tank, hit ok it give me the fuel... Open the refuel/rearm window again and have some % of fuel, set it again to 0% add additional tank, hit ok, my previous tank was replaced with new full one, got additional one and so... they always replaced the old tanks with new full ones...
  13. Honestly I like Russian aircrafts and missions... Personally I would not mind to pay for updated (and maybe) bigger (by area) map... Specially with the latest history events in Crimean Peninsula... Specially missions new payed missions can be interesting there... There are stories to tell for sure! I can see leaving what we have right now for free and creating updated "Caucasus++" map as payed with the "more and better" what ever...
  14. Hi Guys, There is surprisingly very little in the official (DCS) manuals about history of these planes in comparison to other planes... Why? And where would you suggest to look for something official and solid? Of course I tried stuff like google and wiki etc. they have inconsistent data
  15. From your mission I get the same value you have on the screenshot... And here is what happened when I start adding tanks to you mission 2nd pod added to the other inside slot 1630kg (+1025) 3rd pod outside slot 2255kg (+625) 4th pod other outside slot 2880kg (+625)
  16. Well, in that case, I must have premium pods or something... Got another test and when I start adding pods one by one and my results are now quite different... This why I was thinking about the randomness 1 pod 810kg 2 pods 1640kg (+830) 3 pods 2255kg (+615) 4 pods 2875kg (+620) PS: fist two pods were on the outer pylons, it should not make difference, but it seems it does...
  17. Yea I'm reading the number. I just did another test. Here is what I got...
  18. Hmmm That is interesting, because I read mu value form the number not the bar as well... I would like to see test from more people, but is it actually possible that they really put little bit of randomness into it?
  19. This one is still on. Could somebody verified me on this one as well? Thank you!
  20. Aaaa you are right on this one... I messed my numbers :D on this one You see this is why it pays to double-check everything before you start flame wars and submitting tickets like crazy... But! the other one still stays!
  21. And another weird thing... Single pod should have 620kg of fuel, so when I empty the plane my dashboard gauge says 0kg of fuel. Good. Now I load my plane with 0% fuel and 4x fuel pods and dashboard gauge says 2830kg of fuel which makes 707.5kg of fuel per pod... So, I'm wandering what is going on? Do they model, that not all the pods may have the exact amount of fuel? Or maybe the gauge is not 100% accurate? Or is the Windows calculator broken?
  22. Well in that case something is not working... The plane with 0 flares, 0 chaff, 0 ammo and 0 fuel weights 11496kg The plane with 0 flares, 0 chaff, 0 ammo, 0 fuel and 4x fuel pods weights 14536kg That makes one pod weights 760kg which is what the full pod should weight. Now the weird part The plane with 0 flares, 0 chaff, 0 ammo and 100% fuel weights 15286kg The plane with 0 flares, 0 chaff, 0 ammo, 100% fuel and 4x fuel pods weights 18326kg Which makes single pod weight 947.5kg And this is just the numbers from the load manager from the cockpit, not the mission editor....
  23. NO, I'm not talking about the mission editor... I used the load out manager in the game, when you are in the cockpit already and the dashboard fuel gauge in your cockpit for the measurement.
  24. Hi Guys, So, I was trying to figure out how much those things weight... Based on the load manager, fully fueled Su-25T weights 15286kg and fully fueled Su-25T with 2x fuel tank weights 16806kg... Oki, so if you subtract and divide you will get that the single tank full with fuel weights 760kg. That sounds plausible. Now the puzzling stuff. The completely empty Su-25T weights 11496kg and completely empty Su-25T with 2x fuel tank weights 13016kg which after calculation also makes 760kg  And I'm sure that the tanks are empty, because of the fuel indicator in cockpit and you cannot start the engines... Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
  25. Well guys, the root of my question was to know if it is worth to buy another GPU for offloading the PhysX to it, so I can get more FPS from my main GPU since I'm playing in VR. And got the answer that the DCS do not use it at all, so oki I'm considering my question fully answered. Do not really care about the other games and what they are using it for... The moderator, please lock this thread down. I'm considering my question fully answered. Thank you all for participating, do not want to start any flamewar...
