ILS is what you need for bad weather in a jet fighter, without it life is very, very stressful for the pilot. Knowing where the runway is, is extremely important. In the old days using the older systems it was suicidal to make an approach in some places unless the weather cleared. It is an unrealistic view to think that it is safe to operate without it. The buttons on the aircraft, it says ILS for a reason because it has it.

There is video of a Rafale flying in High Alpha. It is using Super Hornet engines. There is also video of Su35S flying High Alpha, those are Super Hornet engines inside. The Super Hornet engine is very good for High alpha.

Whoever it is on this Planet that is giving you that advice is not a Hornet Pilot. I realize that perhaps you have never touched the Hornet addon, but if you were to try it in bad weather without ILS on a runway it is extremely difficult. The real ones have ILS.

The Rafale flies extremely well with Super Hornet Engines. I highly recommend it. Also Mig29s, Grippen and SU35S also fly really good with Super Hornet Engines.

Although it may or may not be modelled correctly the real one has ILS the same as an Airliner. Hornets are an ALL WEATHER MULTI ROLE AIRCRAFT and have to operate in IFR conditions. They have to have ILS to be all weather. The real Hornet has ILS. All of the Hornets have ILS that is why it has an ILS button for ILS. They are all fitted with ILS. Both USMC and the US Navy Hornets all have an ILS button which is for ILS. They are all fitted with ILS and use it.

The Hornet has ILS which is the same as the one Airliners use as they have to operate in all weather.

The Hornet has ILS which is freq and ICLS which is channels but the two work together. The ILS on the Hornet is normal ILS. ED might do a future version which has it, the difference will be in knowing where everything is and how simple it is to go where you need to go in all weather conditions.

YAK141 and the F35B both have a similar configuration, I think it would be good for the YAK141 to have a 4 Directional TVN like the F35B.

It is just the enormous potential of that type of technology. There are other places where this technology could be used such as heavy machinery and shock absorbers which are much lighter. The YAK141 and F35B are an early sign of some of this technology. I was using the ATAT as an example it is a more recent look at that technology and ACTUATORS. For aircraft they could power them off those fan units and go HYPERSONIC. For a flying car it is reliable and will lead to something that uses VTOL and can convert to a car in 1 minute. Correct, it uses the same as a PARTICLE COLLIDER so that is how that is achievable. That is a type of research that will exist in the near future. For travel it is not necessary for such an RPM but it is significant as to what it will lead to with technology.

There is another place where you can see that type of POWERPLANT in action. The drones here are using that technology but what you do not see is the actual DRONES that are being flown. For this type of formation it requires Military technology for that type of precision and performance. The performance is from a SUPERINDUCTION TURBINE. If you view all DRONE FORMATION movies you'll find that this type that take off from the ground are not the same type doing the formation. Have a guess what altitude this formation is operating at? These DRONES are capable of supersonic or faster and you do not see them up close. It is a very good precise performance, would you expect GPS to be good enough to do that type of formation on Autopilot?
