Ditto. This announcement was a real surprise for me. Can't say it's my dream DCS airframe, but I am now looking forward to it (me being European is partly to blame :D ) and looks like a sure purchase provided it's a high quality module.

Also about this, I remember reading that AdA has plans to train their pilots using simulated environment. And considering that RAZBAM is currently working on M2000C with AdA, and later on M2000-5, maybe Rafale is in someone's pipelines as well. Though, like my wish for FF Su-27/MiG-29 birds, it's probably just my wishful thinking speaking again...

IIRC S mean "seriynyi" (серийный) or serial, meaning final version meant for manufacture. I also remember reading somewhere that there is no such thing as Su-27S at least in official documentation. It's either just Su-27 or T-10-something. Unfortunately I cannot provide a source on that...
