That's because ED has no plans doing Soviet WWII planes, not because of laws. Octogus G did I-16 and if rumours are correct they are now doing La-7. ED don't develop Soviet WWII birds because they don't fit in the current theater of war ED is developing based around second front. This is what one of the devs said IIRC.

Про обнаружение вертолётов на Су-27 вроде писали MaxMPower и Air_Man в ветке Су-27 - ответы лётчиков (к сожалению страницу не подскажу). Если мне память не изменяет Air_Man ещё и про МиГ-23 писал.

Fair point. Although, I thought they do have flight manuals in the plane, not strapped to the knees of course. In my case I just copy a few pages, or just make my own small "cheat sheet" in order not to clutter the kneeboard. Making my own actually is kinda beneficial, as I find it easier to remember something then I write it myself. Otherwise, maybe a second kneeboard containing just manual would be a cool feature, with all chapter bookmarks available for easier navigation. Maybe even search, but not sure if ED would want to do that.

Just give us the planes and we will find use for them. Viggen also doesn't have much to do in Caucasus region, yet there it is. There shouldn't be much difference between Indian Navy MiG-29K and Russian Navy MiG-29K, and Su-30MKI and Su-30SM, apart from some avionics. So Indian variant ~ Russian variant.

Everyone I lot of people would love to see a K variant, but unfortunately beggars can't be choosers. As far as I understand A is the variant which ED received permission to do. I would love to see even the first K (9.31) or M (9.31 was based on M), which didn't go into production. Agree. Also a bit disappointing for me, but for everyone who has waited for this aircraft - congratulations!

Don't forget, this is ED and DCS we are talking about. "Later this years" means "two weeks" which in reality means "sometime between two weeks and infinity, possibly next year, but more likely a year after."
