  1. Dobro dosli Mladen. Looks very good.
  2. Hi, glad to have another G940 user. I had similar problem lately and what I did was: abandon Logitech Profiler totaly. Nothing is set out of game. All my settings are in the game directly. I saved three different profiles (joystick, throttle and pedals). Very important!: must have selected appropriate device (like throttle) when saving. It's easy just mess up and for example throttle and joystick have the same names of buttons. Since everybody uses throttle for collective in BS2, it's enough to set axis controller only for one throttle lever and move both simultaneously. I guess you already know (it took me a week to figure out) there is dead man sensor on your joystick handle. Cover, cover! Good luck and let me/us know how you doing.
  3. Don't like an idea to rise the price. Price of software products is more matter of what is public willing to pay for products, and doesn't have to exactly reflect how many hours were spent by developing. But you know that already. If I wanted to help Eagle Dynamics, I would market game in my area. Between my friends and people I have any influence on. More copies sold, more sources for developing or improving.
  4. I don't use Logitech Profiler and have everything set in the game. Let me know should you are still looking for configuration.
  5. To Gadroc, Finally figured out why stick returns back to central position after removing my hand from it. Thank's a lot. I was already decided to return G940 back where I bought it from. Not any more. Thanks again.
  6. Thank you emenance, I know this post(s), but somehow was hoping there was some development on the product. Post is from 2009. My bad. There is lot of stuff I don't understand, like "TAPE THE SENSOR AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE STICK! otherwise the deadman sensor will prevent the ffb-trim working correctly." Greek village for me. I should return G940. Anyway, appreciate your effort.
  7. Just both G940 recently, after flying KA-50 several years with X52. Was hoping that gaming experience could be even more intense. I have a problem to trim with G940. Pushing trim button doesn't keep stick in position when it was trimmed and really doesn't trim helicopter at all. Stick goes back to central position and node goes up abruptly immediately after I leave the stick. Playing with Enable FFB and Central stick position doesn't bring any difference. I'm not using Logitech Profiler but everything is set up in the game directly. I can hear clack sound when trim, but no effect. X52 stick trimmed well. What is interesting, is the fact that diamond shape object representing stick is hollow. Empty. I can swear that when I was using X52 it was solid. Perhaps doesn't have any effect, but had anyone some experience with this? I mean hollow stick position object? Is that mean something, like it's not active or so? That could explain stick behavior. Other than that, copter responds to stick very well. FFB is big mystery to me, but maybe I just need to get used to.
  8. Mibo, I've read your questions. They are very specific to using G940. There is unfortunately not too many users of this stick thus there is not too many people who can answer. Maybe we, as G940 guys, should start thread specific to this great stick. Not sure how to do it, just an idea. You are active on this forum for like 2 mths. You will see, as many of us, that forum is extremly helpfull. All you need is ask relevant questions. Cheers and Good luck.
  9. With all due respect to the other flying bricks, HIND.
  10. Moderately used, in working condition. Original price over $300. Selling for $150. One LED light doesn't work. All buttons, sliders, wheels ... active and working. Good flight system for reasonable price. For postage in US and Canada add $20. If interested in, please contact me: DBrestovansky@gmail.com
  11. 1. Perhaps refers to Saitek X52 joystick. Doesn't apply to G940. Modifiers can be set directly in the game (not familiar with G940 profiler). Using Modifier means that the same button can have 2 functions. Once if you push the button without modifier and second if you use push the same button with modifier. So it theoretically doubles number of buttons on joystick. But for practical reasons, is beneficial to have modifier on your throttle, so you can push it with left hand. Switch buttons can also be set in the game and you can set different functions of buttons with switch ON and the other functions with switch OFF. Some guys have for example joystick buttons set for cruising (Route, Descent, Gears ...) and with switch ON the same buttons set for combat. It needs a little play with buttons and set it to your requirement. With little experience you'll find it easy. There is the only problem, shortly you have too many profiles ... 2. You can do either, use your Logitech profiler (but then you have to be sure that profile is loaded before you start the game), or set the controls directly in the game Options than save it and game loads automatically last profile (it can be even adjusted with Notepad++ directly in the game directory). I personally prefer to do it in the game (one thing less to remember before I start the game). Open Options in the game, make sure you have selected KA-50 Sim. Remember to set up basic axes (pitch, roll, collective, rudder, zoom ...) you need to go to Axis options. Modifiers dialog shows only basic modifiers like LAlt, RCTRL or so, but you can add button from you throttle as modifier. It's just grayed for some reasons (took me months to figure out). Hope it helps. Let me know should you need more examples or so. The most important thing is DO NOT GIVE UP. I know it can be frustrating, we all went through this. To the other members of forum, should you see anything incorrect in my response, please correct me so that the right information is delivered.
  12. Cool stuff man. Just replaced X52 with pro. I'm gonna use your template. Thanx.
  13. To Mustur: Too funny brother!
  14. The same here. Could you re install link, please.
  15. I can see ShuRugal's point. Perhaps all of us have in possession some older PC (still good but not enough for running KA-50). If some part of job can be distributed to the "secondary PC" that could pretty much result to higher fps on "primary".
  16. Looking forward to play your mission.
  17. I really do like it.
  18. Sorry for your loss. Great video. I bet many that people will remember watching.
  19. Recently replaced my old video ATI card with N560GTX-Ti 2GB, and I'm very happy to run BS2 on almost the highest settings (no blur and mirrors) constantly over 30 fps, usually close to 50 on 40" Samsung LED 1080 via HDMI. Card could be currently bought for 290 CAD.
  20. Used to have Radeon 4... something, with 1 GB RAM and my fps was like 9, sometimes 13. Just replaced video card with Nvidia 560GTX with 2 GB and fps jumped up. Never goes below 25 - 26, sometimes over 40. It's amazing difference. This card is not hot news on the market (from 2009). But thanks to that the price is very reasonable, around $250. i5 quadcore, 6GB RAM, Win 7 64 bit.
  21. I'm a big fan and propagator ESET NOD32 (works with Win 7 64 bit version). Also run Microsoft Security Essentials. No conflicts at all. Tried to disable ESET, while I played BS2, but gain on fps was insignificant, thus ESET NOD32 is very light on memory resources. One big must in prevention, in my opinion, is physical router. Even if you have wireless network. Connect your wireless modem with Cat5 cable to router and then all your devices (PC, notebook, IPhone, IPad ...) reconnect to your wireless router. Usually has several physical slots (I thinks it's RJ45 if not please correct me) so that you can use physical direct connection with you PC. It's faster than wireless. Last word, nothing will prevent you from viruses, spyware and so if you actively invite them to your system. Don't provide your information, if you are not sure to who you are dealing with. Don't open emails with suspicious content. Spyware can significantly slow down, by monitoring what you do, your expensive system. But you know that.
  22. Thank you Dragon.
  23. SSD? Hi Slazi, i think about SSD drive. Let me ask you, do you install only windows or whole game BS is there? Also if you could share some experience, would be appreciated. Thnx in advance.:book:
  24. After finishing (or not) the mission, I'd like, as a sort of feedback, watch the track. Mostly to get the idea what the fu.. shoot me down or where I did mistake during landing procedure... What I feel as real pain in the ass is the fact that when you try to compress the time, the game doesn't synchronize well. I see myself shooting missiles to empty areas, while tanks are couple of meters away. I think I've red some posting, where guys from ED stated that's this is inevitable behavior considering how much data must game process, if you're compressing time. So, ED guys, would it be possible, to give as option to watch only couple of last minutes of the tracks with possibility to take control as it is now? It would safe a lot of time. Let me add that, ED has my huge respect for educating us and giving us so much fan.:)
  25. Can see your point. Try to move it.
