I also wondered. The map should be expanded around 150NM to the west and south. I'm looking forward to the new airports mentioned in the newsletter, but wondered what's with a few airfields in the south-western area. :huh:

1st: Good old memories. :D 2nd: It isn't entirely flat. The south-east side of the peninsula and coastline have a nice low mountain range. We had a lot of fun with the A-10A there, in the region around Feodossija, as well. There were a lot of nice airbases, too. 3rd. Adds a lot of airspace, combat area and interesting missions to the map. PS: And we had our homebase at Saki AFB. Would be nice, to take-off from there, again. :)

Na ja, ganze Wälder gibt es dort einfach nicht. Ist halt Wüste. Aber als ich anfangs mal mit Huey und Mirage in die Bäume geflogen bin, hatte ich nur die Baumkrone gestreift und das hat genügt. Evtl. können die deutschen Tester mehr dazu sagen, wo genau die Hitboxen der Bäume liegen.

Erstes existiert bereits in Nevada (2.0) und ich denke/ hoffe, dass dieses Feature auch beim Release von DCS 2.5 auf der neuen Kaukasus Karte vorhanden sein wird. Ob letzteres auch der Fall ist, habe ich noch nicht getestet. Und in Nevada stehen dafür die Bäume wohl auch zu weit auseinander. :D

Zum Tiger hab ich mal was gelesen. Aber so lange keine ingame Screenshots auftauchen, geb ich da wenig drauf. Der Rest befindet sich aktuell nicht in Arbeit. Modelieren, ja. Zum Leben erwecken eher nicht. Sieht ja schon in der Realität schlecht aus. :D

There is already a beautiful E-2C(?) in DCS. ;) A SH-60, as well. But the model is very old.

Liest sich so. Ehrlich gesagt, hatte ich den Thread nicht mehr verfolgt und mich damit abgefunden. Doch dann bemerkte ich, dass mein Rechner ab und an eingeschaltet war, obwohl ihn keiner eingeschaltet hatte. Dann habe ich nach der Ursache für den geisterlichen Selbststart gegooglet und bin bei autostart im standby Modus bei Windows Updates fündig geworden. Und da machte es klick. :D

Nachdem das Editieren der Energiesparoptionen für die USB Anschlüsse keinen Erfolg brachte, habe ich Ende letzter Woche die Lösung gefunden. Windows 10 hat wohl manchmal standardmäßig die Einstellung, auch beim Ausschalten via "Herunterfahren" nur in den standby Modus zu schalten. Dies wurde seit Erscheinen von Windows 10 (auch Win 8) von mehreren Usern berichtet. Ich habe also die Standby Funktion entfernt und nun fährt er tatsächlich runter. Das die Saitek Treiber nach dem Standby Modus nicht laden, kannte ich bereits von Windows 7. Aber eben auch nur, wenn ich den Rechner mal auf Standby hatte. Beim wieder Aufwachen laden diese wohl nicht korrekt. Die Folge ist nun, dass ich unter Start Ein/Aus nur noch Neustarten und Herunterfahren als Optionen habe. Nicht schlimm, den Standby Modus brauch ich bei einer Ladezeit von <10 Sekunden eh nicht mehr.

Hi, I'm testing a little bit with the Mk-82SE and read somehere here in the forums, that I can enter an elevation/ altitude for a waypoint. How do I do this? Found nothing in the DCS flight manual. And can I drop these dump bombs also on this waypoint or is this only a visual (release) feature/ aiming point for laser guided bombs? Thanks in advance, kind regards Fire PS: Tested also the waypoint in VTB feature, but it doesn't work at all. Bullseye information in VTB are now correct, thanks Razbam!

Nice to hear and looking forward to your work, buddy. But as mentioned above, I like it vanilla. So, maybe we could help you to convince ED to integrate your models in the DCS core sim. :)

No factor, if you fly a fighter. "Add some power." Only if you fly little airplanes or civil aircraft with less power.

Patched in the latest update, AFAIK. ;) And please remember, the Mirage is still WIP/ beta, while the Flanker is ingame since .... uh 2004 ... or so?! With little updates to their simple avionics in all the years. The only big overhaul is the PFM.

I know his work, thanks. But I prefer DCS vanilla. I have only the most necessary mods you should have (external Radio tool for example, if you want to call that a mod). Besides that: I like the Growler and its capabilities (and design/ look :D) but I also like mid-late 90's era aircraft. The Prowler has something beautiful to me, as well. :huh::D
