  1. Thanks for the update, tacno. Q: If I have 2 players in the same TS3 channel but on different sides in DCS (1x blue, 1x red), can they talk to each other on the same frequency? Or is it blocked by a simulated encryption/decryption Feature?
  2. In einem Museum in Deutschland wäre auch mir das neu. Eventuell zum Tag der offenen Tür in Spangdahlem, wenn sie gerade dort stationiert sind. Ich glaube, der ist jedes Jahr im Herbst, also demnächst. Vllt. findest hier paar Infos: http://www.spangdahlem.af.mil/
  3. Hi tacno, what about F-5E support for UR? Any news?
  4. Schau mal im DCS Hauptverzeichnis, da befindet sich ein separates Handbuch zum ME und IIRC zum Misionsgenerator, sollten ca. 40 Seiten+ sein.
  5. "Jane's - Fighter Anthology" already had this feature some 20 years ago. :)
  6. I like the new one more. I don't measure my connection speed every day, but I have rarely speed/ connection problems. The 32Mbit/s is the contractually agreed Connection Speed with my ISP. It depends on the (used) connection speed of other customers as well, because the cable network (DOCSIS) uses a technique called shared medium between the customer (modem) and the CMTS. The average list in your link includes all ISP customers, also these in the rural Areas, which have normally lower Speeds and those with older contracts. regards, Fire
  7. You can take a look in the ATP-56(B)_AIR-TO-AIR REFUELLING. There are the NATO Standard procedures for Aerial refueling. [ame]http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafcms/mediafiles/9B867BBC_1143_EC82_2EF1BC56D030FEA9.pdf[/ame] And as you can see, NATO Standard is from left (Observation Area) to right (Reform Area).
  8. For me, it loads fast (32 Mbit/s cable internet connection).
  9. Try the song "2's blind", the text is also very funny ... and true. :D
  10. Q1: Yes, of course. a faster A-10 with the ability to T/O and land vertically. Q2: Time will tell, no hurry Q3: Double Question. A) I'm not excited about the Tucano. To much trainer for DCS and I prefer the L-39. B) AV-8B Q4: Yes, it will add some very interesting gameplay features to DCS, such as operations from FOB Q5: Research and Development should be on the Mirage at the moment. After that, why not
  11. Very extensive and interessting, especially the ECM chapter. Fantastic read, thanks. Maybe, ED can use this as research for a more realistic jamming simulation in DCS.
  12. Klingt so irgendwie flüssiger. :):D Aber jutt.
  13. Hi gospadin, great work! If I have an separate server, does any client need this mod or is it enough to install it on the server?
  14. Hi, I want to set a VOR/DME in the mission editor, so that I can also read out the distance to that point/ unit, not only the bearing. I know how to set up a NDB (VOR) in the mission editor, which can be used by the Huey, F-5E and M-2000C for example. But how can I add the DME unit or somehting, which works like that? Thanks in advance, Fire
  15. +1
  16. Hi, I know that the weather engine is WIP but I wish, there would be a few little improvements as soon as possible. Provided, that the work is kept within limits. Real METAR string (optional) It would be a nice and good addition for the hardcore simmers of us, if there would be a real METAR string for weather information in the briefing screen. Example of METAR string: Cloud slider according to official cloud coverage Currently, there are ten grades of cloudes in the standard weather options. nine and ten are a complete overcast for example, I don't know if there are differences between these two. But in real life, there are only eight (see the link above, point "Cloud reporting"). It would be nice, if DCS uses these real grades to adjust the weather to real templates easier as currently. Waiting for feedback and/ or additions. kind regards, Fire
  17. Thanks for the update, Wags. Great to hear, that we get the JHMCS. :pilotfly:
  18. Great step guys!
  19. Ok, thanks.
  20. Hi, in the past, we had to set our last waypoint to a landing point in the mission editor, to get the virtual runway in the HUD. But now, we have the INS, where we can add and edit waypoints manual. Is it possible, to set one waypoint as landing point via the INS to get the virtual runway or is this a feature, we'll see in the future? Thanks in advance, Fire
  21. From today's training ...
  22. Discovery Air Defence offers adversary services for different air forces, such as the Canadian Airforce and the German Airforce (Luftwaffe). In Germany, they are based at Wittmund AFB with A-4E.
  23. Yep. Or VHF (AM/FM), whatever frequency you enter. But you need a unit and a trigger zone, as well.
  24. Awesome! Looking forward to the screenshots. :pilotfly:
